Whisky Vintage

got this perfume as a gift from one of our NRI relatives when I was back home in India. This is the starting point of my fragrance journey. Initially, I could not figure out what did it smell like and of course, I did not know about #fragrantica then. I am talking about the year 2004-06. But, that's more interesting to just feel how does it smell like without knowing the notes structure. This fragrance literally smells like "An aquatic Sugar-apple with some hints of sugar-cane juice in a very rich and premium quality manner". It doesn't have any of those notes but let me tell you, definitely worth trying, a very inexpensive and head-turning fragrance. I would wear this in the evening or night time when I want to attend some good occasions or parties. Casual meet-ups are also considered. Heads up: I used this fragrance for about 12 years till my bottle vanished, gradually it became more abstract and compliment beast.

The opening is fresh and spicy without coming off warm, making it more universal than it might seem at first glance. It's very pleasant and I feel like it would be very universally pleasing. I will be wearing this in all seasons except summer - mainly because I just prefer aquatic notes in summer. The freesia in the middle is really nice without coming off feminine - an issue other cheapies can struggle with when they add florals - Mustang Performance I'm looking at YOU. The drydown is nice but boring. Really the best part of this scent is the first hour. Given it's price, I will be carrying the small flask-like bottle around and re-applying it every once in a while. It becomes a skin scent after a couple of hours and lasts about 4 or 5 hours all together. for the first 90-120 minutes projection is good. Spraying it on clothes improves longevity by at least an hour.
