The best cheapie of all-time? Some say it in the reviews for this $7/oz scent. Well, I opened the box and sprayed 4-5 times into it. Immediately, my wife, across the kitchen from me, said, "That's sexy." She tends to like the majority of quality scents, so I smirked and said this is $10/bottle. She said, "I don't care. It is sexy and makes me want to get close." That is a good sign. I wore it all day today, and I like it too. It smells spicy with a bit of wood. I don't get any citrus. i oversprayed it a bit and it has lasted 12 hours with very reasonable projection. You will never choke anyone out with this scent. It is a bit challenging to get very specific about the notes. I get nutmeg and cinnamon with some green notes, and a woody, tonka, and musk base. This could be the best cheapie of all-time. If you see it for a good price (I gave $10 for 1.7oz/50ml on ebay), I recommend trying it. It is woody and spicy, and a little green, and I will be wearing it this summer, as well as in cooler weather. This is a 365 day/year scent. Bright and pleasant enough for summer, yet the exact same strengths make it appropriate for winter too. Perfect for the workplace, social events, romantic evenings, and just hanging around for a day doing things at home. I can't say many scents are this flexible. I could wear this with a tuxedo and it would just be perfect.

Like sipping a warm, spicy Earl Grey tea on a chilly autumn evening. Maybe not exactly Earl Grey, but the combination of citrus and spice definitely brings it to mind. And it certainly doesn't bring to mind anything to do with boxing, as the Everlast brand might suggest, and that's fine with me. Despite the price, it doesn't smell cheap to me. I'd call this both warm-spicy and fresh-spicy, but more warm than fresh. The citrus notes dominate at first, but it quickly mellows out into a nice balance with the spicy notes and a faint sweetness. I'm surprised there's no bergamot (used in Earl Grey) on the list, but I guess the other citrus notes fill the role of bergamot, and probably also contribute to its freshness. The mint is funny, sometimes I notice it, sometimes I don't. This is probably more of a scent for 25+ men. I can smell it out to about 7 hours, but it fades to a 'skin scent' after only about 3.5-4 hours. Hey, at this price you can afford an occasional re-spray. Overall, a very nice scent that shows just how good a bargain cologne can smell, if you get the right nose behind it (Antoine Lie, perhaps best known for the original Armani Code).

I guess I'd call this a citrus/leather "fougeriental." The ingredients seem to be of decent quality, which surprised me. Anyway, you get intense grapefruit/citrus at first with some mild mint, along with a typical fougere accord (emphasizing the herbal aspect of it). Over time, this weakens and a strong "clean" leather note emerges, along with the oriental accord of patchouli, tonka, spice, and mild wood. It's not quite as complex or strong as the "power" fragrances of the 1980s but it does reference them. Was this an attempt to "go retro?" It's a good all-around fragrance, especially for those who want "substance" in a recent men's fragrance, except perhaps in really hot and humid conditions (when I'd probably reach for something like Green Jeans), due to the clear musky quality. The only thing is that you would have to be in the mood for the fougere accord, the strong citrus at first, and the leather note. I get very good longevity and projection ("sillage") with it. If you don't want to pay retail for Eau Sauvage Fraicheur Cuir this might be good enough for you.

As others have said this is a great cheapie but only if you like classic style scents. This is very gentlemanly and very spicy. The Grapefruit and the Lime are the main players in the opening - really well done and then the spices come absolutely bursting on the scene with the Cinnamon and Nutmeg really taking over. I could also swear there is a tea note lurking there somewhere - either way it's brilliantly done. In the drydown the woods and leather come a bit more into play but tbh they just lurk in the base. Now this is extremely well blended and nothing to suggest you are buying a budget scent here - if this had a designer label on it then you could easily be fooled into thinking you were buying something exotic and expensive. I find notes with cinnamon etc. can sometimes comes across too Christmassy but not here as the notes are blended so well. With the cooler weather creeping in this should get a lot of wearing and already glad I have a backup bottle. Grab it with no questions asked.

I have been waiting to buy this ever since I first tried it. The very first few times I saw this I walked on by: it just didn't seem like it could be a worthwhile prospect. At $19.95 Australian (on sale) for a 100mL EDT, 100mL hair and body shampoo and a 75g deodorant - it just seemed too cheap to be a quality product. Then I tried it. An intense lavender and orange opening gives way to middle notes which include spices and wood. The opening notes are so delightful that I found myself reapplying the fragrance every hour or two. The basenotes of leather, musk and wood under pin the other notes, making this a robust and masculine fragrance. The musk and leather are the last notes I detect before it eventually fades to nothing. The sillage is reasonable and it lasts quite well - about 4 hours. Well worth the meagre investment.

This is one of the best 'value' buys I have made. This is available at very reasonable prices, however, it is not a "cheap" scent. I was very surprised to find a fragrance by Everlast to have such a heady, sophisticated scent. This is not some cheap, mass marketed oriental, but rather a well-designed oriental blended by perfumer Antoine Lie from Givaudan. While the top notes are initially a bit harsh, they mellow quickly into a very attractive heart lasting for about 2 hours. The heart notes are lovely and transition to a lovely, solid base. This potion lasts for a full 8 hours on my skin. If I didn't know better, I would think that this was a very expensive niche frag. Oriental lovers ----- don't miss this one. Two thumbs up!!!

It sometimes fascinates me how well blended a Cheapie can be. This one is in my top five of my Cheapie category. It doesn't have a sharp or harsh opening dominated by citrus. It is a mellow fragrance which moves gently through top-mid-base. Citrus, floral, creamy wood. Simple but complex at the same time. In the 80s I once smelled and tested a cologne called Vorago which I believe was made by a company from Spain. For some reason Everlast reminds me of that scent although i have only smelled and tested it once as a younger kid. It's one of those scent memories which trigger associations. Overall a very good scent. Doesn't fumigate a room but stays with you for a while.

I shall start by saying that this juice is well and truly worth tracking down. It's cheap and it smells exactly as I imagine the creator envisioned. Like fresh new gym gear with that slight but purposeful synthetic smell of the acrylic paint over the brand new leather gear you just can't seem to stop sniffing. Coupled with a slightly sweet minty lime twang of general cleanliness, this fragrance is an excellent choice for daily wear or working out. Non offensive, manly and worth twice what you will pay for it. Edit: Almost a year since I bought this, I still agree with myself from a year ago.

This one shocked me how beautiful it smells. I expected more of a generic "sporty" scent but this is a green, fresh, spicy floral that's super manly, unique and with above average performance. Despite being formulated in 1910 this smells much more modern. Can be worn pretty much any season. More of a casual weekend daytime kind of scent than a suit and tie scent. This would make a kick-ass scent for the gym after your workout. That is if the gyms ever open again with this covid-19 crap.

VERY likable and under-rated with a lot of character. Quite cheap at the moment but doesn't smell inexpensive. In fact, if this costed 3 times the price, I would still buy it. There's something about this that is really nice. A fresh citrus and mint opening with a touch of cinnamon. Then a fresh, soapy, leather and spicy dry-down. The silage is fresh and soapy, this is a great men's retro cologne. A neat little bottle too, it's a knockout

This one is a Knockout! I could see this being Evander Holyfield's signature scent. Refined yet rugged. For a cheapie it is very well blended and longevity is great. I would say this is safe for a blind buy as it is very inexpensive and has great versatility. Price to quality is fantastic!

Folks, before I start off; I have never purchased the actual cologne in an Eau de Toilette form. I have purchased the underarm deodorant stick, bar soap and the deodorant spray. I was happy with the stick and bar of Everlast Original soap. These do not project though, at least on me. The deodorant spray in an 8.4 fl oz can though is awesome! Also, I want to add that I am amazed out how some basenoters can break down a scent, dissect it every which way and describe exactly what the immediate spray on, drydown and end note scents are. I can't, sorry; this is "flowery" but not emasculating. The very first time I wore it, my sister came straight up to me and put her nose up to my upper chest/armpit area and took a big whiff and told me she was impressed. She is a very simple, down to earth person and has never, of what I can recall, complemented me on a scent like she did this one. I know some of you might be hesitant to go out and try it out, especially if you just read my review on an aerosol scent. I know spray ons and the like of axe and tag have true lovers of scents rolling their eyes. I got to tell you though, I'm afraid to try the EDT for fear of being disappointed. This deodorant spray is great and projects but will not "force" itself on passerbys. Best thing? It, to me, is a diamond in the rough. It is very inexpensive but smells like much more $$! And the deodorant spray lasts!

Ladies and gentleman, in this corner we have a challenger for best under the radar cheapie! Coming in at 1.7oz for just under $13, this fragrance punches above it’s weight class in terms of scent and performance. Ok enough with the boxing jokes and down to business. The bottle is cheap looking I’ll give ya that! If you look closely at the label it even looks cheaply printed. But the glass feels tangible in your hand and the atomizer is not bad. Again, we’re talking 13 bucks here! As for the scent itself? It’s linear... I get a predominantly smooth creamy leather enveloped in a warm blanket of woods and spice, then it’s all sweetened with a hint of that citrus. I think you’ll like this if you’re not familiar at all with leather based scents or are just looking for a leather scent that isn’t challenging but easy to wear -or- you’re looking for something that’s “fresh spicy” and doesn’t hit you over the head with that lime/orange/grapefruit combo- I believe it’s there but I don’t readily pick up on it. Like I said it performs well for me. I get a full 8-10 workday out of it. It’s not a projection beast but I get whiffs all day long on it. I haven’t received any compliments on it yet but it’s a standout for me that I’m gonna be rocking all year long. Thumbs WAY UP, guys! Get this now! SYL

i received a free sample of this and was pleasantly surprised. although i find the longevity to be a bit lacking, the fragrance itself is one that filled a hole in my collection. it's "fresh," but it feels kind of warm and soft, not too synthetic (compare to "curve," for example, which i find fresh but synthetic and potentially headache-inducing if overused). in a VERY slight way, it almost reminds me of a softer, leathery version of chanel's allure homme (note: this is a very loose and personal comparison; your mileage may vary.) for me, this fragrance seems like it fits perfectly for after a post-workout shower. i can definitely detect the leather base, although i have a hard time discerning other individual notes. it certainly seems fit for the more active type, though. all in all, it's a fragrance i enjoy and feel like wearing after a good workout and shower. and considering i just found a 3.3oz bottle for $5.50, i have to say it's worth the price, even if the longevity is on the short side.

Saw this on a gentleman's journey when ceolife today recommended. Made me curious and then I saw it at shops. Airy citrus with a subtle leather mid follows. Opening may be a little synthetic. But damn this lasts, which is worth the price tag alone - ten bucks from chemist warehouse here in Oz. How a sports fragrance should be done. when the body heats up it maintains, Great for spring and summer, . Reminds me of Nautica voyage Sports drydown but wth leather and much more well blended. Considering the price is good to wear everyday, whether doing nothing at home, running errands or when you perhaps don't need to put anything on like mowing the lawn. It's a Freshie that pleases. I like it. This should actually be the new Mont blanc Individuel in terms of price and performance and versatility hype train. Smell 7/10 Performance 8/10 Price and value 10/10 Versatility 8/10

This smells great for the price. I agree with the positive reviews below and "Kiku"s description - slightly sweet, cedar, woody, and a bit herby. Smells much more expensive than it is. Fresh but warm and masculine. Could wear this any time but for me it's for everyday wear apart from when it is very hot. First time I tried it disappeared in 3 hours but if you let it dry then reapply it is still there at 8 hours, has very good projection early on and noticably projects beyond 5 hours. It's cheap enough to still be great value. This is probably aimed at a younger age group than me but is a decent smelling, low priced gem with good projection that you can squeeze good longevity from. Very pleasantly surprised. Like it a lot.

I never heard of Everlast until I received it as a sample. My first response was, "Where has this little gem been"? Although aimed at men(Everlast is the company that makes boxing equipment and the packaging is spare and macho) it is woman friendly for casual times. Slightly sweet, spicy red cedar dominates. Woody herbs and citrus add punch. This would be so refreshing on a sultry day. There is also something Christmas-y about Everlast. It would be a good choice for informal year end holiday events. I wouldn't consider this one a must have but it should be welcomed in anybody's perfume wardrobe, especially since it's VERY reasonably priced.

I just got a tester off ebay for $9 U.S. and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised. It smells like an expensive product. It is kind of a tuff-guy high school fragrance and I mean that in a good way. I have a young friend who is just now starting to "date" (I think that is what 14 year-olds are calling it now... walking the halls at school holding hands :) ) and I suppose the bottle will be going to him. IT IS A GOOD BUY AND A GOOD FRAGRANCE...I'm just too old to wear it... ah, to be young again!

I wear this scent first thing every morning before my walk/run. It’s fresh and invigorating and perfect for this purpose. However, pre-exercise is the only occasion I wear this and truly enjoy it.

This is pretty decent. For $12-15 dollars, it is a steal. This has the vibes of Opium for Men EDT. I'm quite surprised at this. I have Opium and although it's much more refined, this is darn close. Surprising. Anyway, the nutmeg, lime, mandarin orange, leather and musk come through quite nicely. The longevity and sillage are quite respectable. For the price, get it. This is very, very nice.

This is very nice, reminds me a little bit of Dune. Citrus and Mint with a some spicy, woody drydown. Well done.

Lasted 2 hours then stayed close to the skin. Once it stays close to the skin, the main note you smell is cinnamon and disappears after 4-5 hours (in total). The smell is good for the price and of course, you can't expect any more longevity for what you're paying. A good gym/sporty scent (obviously, its Everlast; a sports brand) as well as spring, early autumn and best in summer.

"Best cheapie of all time"? Yikes, come on, guys... Bought this as a laugh due to some of the reviews below. Is this a decent-smelling, decent quality fragrance at a ridiculously cheap price point? Yes. Is there an extremely vague connection to YSL Opium Pour Homme, especially in the dry down? Yes. But again, it is very vague; this does not properly smell like Opium when all is said and done. And that's it. That's all this really has going for it. To my nose, this smells decent (and most importantly, not dollar store cheap, which I'll admit is kinda crazy at this price point) but also, unfortunately, falls into that generic, woody shower gel "cologne guy" type of scent DNA. In other words, it's boring. Perhaps most importantly and most damning: I don't see any occasion where I would actually, specifically, want to reach for this apart from lazing around the house, a "master of none" type of deal. The above may sound unfair since I'm being highly critical of such a cheap fragrance; I mean, what can one expect at this price point? But you really don't "need" this and don't need to buy this unless you are extremely budget-conscious and want a decent, average-smelling fragrance for a ridiculously cheap price point. Or unless you have a large collection like myself and want to buy it for curiosity's sake without actually needing to wear it. There are much better fragrances out there, still within the budget price range, for a little bit extra. Example: 2.5 oz testers of Lalique Pour Homme (lion bottle) can be found for around $14 at discounters, and 4.2 oz can be found for around $19 (I just did a Google search, and a 4.2 oz came up for $16...), which is a fragrance that absolutely blows this out of the water and can be worn both dressed up and down. This is a 6.5/10 kind of fragrance, which I'll bump up to a 7/10 purely because of the price alone.

I had received a sample of this years ago from a fragrancenet.com order and thought it was pleasant and surprisingly decent for an Everlast scent but i also thought it smelled like a bland 90s scent that I would smell in my gym locker days. So I saw this scent came up in CEOlifes recommendations on YouTube and this time around I do appreciate this and like this more than I did a few years back but unfortunately I won’t be adding this to my fragrance rotation. BUT I will be rocking this as a gym scent every now and then. This scent opens up very synthetic and like an axe body spray. However once this dries down it does evolve into a creamy,slightly spicy and also even aromatic scent that IS similar to Chanel Allure Homme but also very similar to a 90s scent called Navy for Men which was a nice scent back in the 90s. This is better than Navy and better blended. It’s ok for the price but I have many cheap frags that are WAY better. Performance on this is very good though as it lasts 8-12 hours and has above average projection. So if this smells good on you then I’m jealous because for a cheap frag this really performs well ! Overall rating— OK scent that’s kind of average and dated but where this gains points is price and performance!

Gentlemen... I bought this stuff as a last minute throwaway purchase to fill a free shipping order online. It was meant to be a joke purchase.. Jokes on me though as this stuff is an almost perfect scent. This is the same company that made my boxing gloves for christ sakes, and it outperformed and was my best purchase out of the seven other bottles I grabbed. It’s an aromatic, soft spicy fragrance that’s literally unlike anything else I have in my collection. It reminds me of the late 80’s scents but in a modern way. As far as performance goes this stuff is almost on Ted Lapidus levels, 6 to 8 hours. Citrus up top, floral and spices in the middle, and the rare times I can pick up the leather in the dry down with an over convoluted amount of notes in a scent. Speechless over here, considering I got this for under 20$ bucks I’m blown away. This is almost a perfect scent in my books. I’m not ashamed to give this a 9/10. Buy Immediately if you’re looking to add a hidden gem into your collection.

It does reminded me Opium PH too, but less complex and a bit sweeter. Opium is more dry, and much more proeminent on the spices, and probably made with better ingredients. But for the price asked for Everlast 1910 you just can't go wrong. What you get is a spicy bittersweet sexy male scent with good sillage and longevity for a very low ammount of money. Possibly one of the best budget buys in the perfume market. This is quality stuff that could cost much more. In fact, it outperforms many of other fragrances which are way more expensive just because they're mainstream. So be smart! Pay less to smell better and different from the crowd of other guys by choosing to wear fragrances like this one. A total winner.

A hidden pearl! I found a last piece in a market shop. I thought I'd try it because I got it down at a price. I was shocked at home how special it was! The fragrance is a beautiful reflection of the "Vintage" and "Aqua-citrus" that were mixed up in the early 2000s. trends, but in an absolutely pleasant and sympathetic way! A pleasant scent with a savory, fruity head, which is a herb-woody base. The preparation is very authentic for me! A casual yet sporty yet pleasant-looking scent for almost everyone! High quality, good choice!

This is a very well done fragrance. A local store was having a big sale of items that they had aquired from another store that had went out of business. Eventually they got down to around 70% off the prices, and had 5 of these left. It also came with a deoderant. I picked one up off a whim since it was going to be around 5 dollars. Now I wished I would have grabbed them all. Becasue of course when I went back the next day after realizing I had just found a winner the rest of them were already gone.

Wow, This is fantastic. If Antoine Lie had made this for one of the bigger designers this would be a best selling classic. I am not a fragrance snob in the slightest and am a firm believer that a good scent is a good scent. It is difficult to detect any individual notes but the overall effect is a spicy oriental. Like most people, i found this very cheap in TK Maxx and i am very glad i did. Absolute winner.

This is the perfect every man gym fragrance. Price point in league with Nike & Adidas but much better quality. You won't get outrageous compliments but you will be the best smelling guy at the gym without offending anybody. Like Raj.Kanaj said below you can pick this up from Chemist Warehouse for $10AU and at that price point you can't lose. Best in class by a wide margin.

This isn't such a bad perfume. The smell is very mature but sweet to. Its about $20 for a 100ml bottle, but you can't go wrong. Perfect for use after a shower form the gym, or sport or just in general. Longevity/Silage & Projection is an issue, very weak but smell is nice 7/10 for me (rated high mostly for the smell)

Not bad masculine scent, although might feel a bit robust or harsh to some. I would say it's best for 30+ age group. Longevity is average (6-8 hours). Goes for really low price at the moment. Base notes are not that good IMO, so the smell is best within first few hours. 3/5 from me

Took a chance and purchased it after reading so many good reviews. Got it on sale for just €7. Glad I didn't pay more than that for it because it's horrible. Looks cheap, smells cheap. starting to think there is no such thing as a quality "bargain" fragrance!

Great bargain This one open up like allure homme and dry down to opium pour homme . Just imagine a baby of allure homme and opium by ysl 10 bucks for 3.5 oz make you think about expensive perfume and why they charge so much

Everlast 1910 is an excellent choice, and the price-to-quality ratio makes it worth considering. While I can't say it's the best budget fragrance of all time, it is definitely a solid option that shouldn't be overlooked.

Temperamental citrus animal flavour fits nice summer time at cheap price. Not sophisticated, but manly raw, for every day/nite use. Worth try once when you are at least 30.

Got this 2day, very nice perfume, my only problem is that it only lasted about 30 minutes on me, but i could be wrong mabey other people smelled it on me longer?
