Fleur d'Oranger

love at first sniff. this i a slightly powdery feminine orange blossoms perfume, sweet and yummy, caressing and soft, one to love and keep. a very flirty scent! decent power for everyday, with a very nice sillage. lasts some hours as well! well done! drives compliments everywhere on me. ;)

This is a very nice perfume. I really do like this one a lot (you can sense there is a "but" coming can't you?!) This is very much an orange blossom and neroli fragrance, supported by a light clean jasmine, a very light woody note, a little bergamot and a hint of musk (very light, very clean musk). This is, all over, a very clean, fresh "feminine" scent. It is not so sweet and girly that a man would not be able to wear it, but I think this leans very much to the "female" type perfumes. Now here comes the but...This is a perfume that I like, and would wear often. Well crafted, smooth, well balanced, no sharp edges, but.. on me and to me it smells so similar to Elie Saab...I have the Parfum Intense and a tester of l'Eau Couture, and Evody Fleur d'Oranger sits somewhere right between the two. It is "bigger" than l'Eau Couture, but lighter than Parfum Intense, but the smell, the style, they are so similar to me, and I already have a large bottle of Parfum Intense, and as such don't see a place for this in my wardrobe right now. Had I never smelled the Elie Saab this would be going right to the top of my want list. I can also see the comparison to Aqua Allegoria Nerolia Bianca, which is again on a similar theme, although I find the NB to be more high pitched than this. This is, to me, more balanced. This is definitely a nicely done perfume, and one I would recommend trying if you like orange flower/neroli scents. But if you already own Elie Saab or Nerolia Bianca I wouldn't blind buy this. It would be a safe bet, but you wouldn't need it!! Big sillage for the first couple of hours, moderate after, lasts about 6 hours on my skin and longer on clothes. Nice.

Bergamot with tangerine giving support to a note of neroli too sweet, all sprinkled with orange blossom, this set evolves into a little believable jasmine arrangement with a rare wooden note giving body and finish of a crisp, sweet and crystalline musk. In short, if you make a fragrance imitating a natural floral bouquet because they use natural essences or at least that the aroma seems it. If on the contrary you want to create a floral fantasy because you make all the aroma also resembles the fantasy, but this mixture so rare, technically it does not convince and I do not believe it, just pound for the nice note of musk effect that extends cloud Well the floral note and sweetens the fragrance in a very subtle and feminine way. Puis il y a celle disponible chez Yves Rocher et qui se décline en savon, gel, crème, etc. C'est clairement ici la deuxième catégorie, le savon au lait parfumé. Usually when a niche perfume is called orange blossom there is a whole interpretation around the note. Then there is the one available at Yves Rocher and declined in soap, gel, cream, etc.. It is clearly here the second category, the scented milk soap.

This is my 2nd sample I have tried from this brand. Very nice and simple, authentic >>solifleur<< fragrance based and constructed around Neroli (orange blossom). Very creamy and soft and well rounded. Genuine orange blossom smells more pungent, peppery with a hint of cinnamon. Again here like in the Vanilla one of the same brand, the product is very linear. Wearing it on its own would be a bit too boring for me but I appreciate it as a very good interpretation of Neroli, if again a bit too smooth and soft and gourmand for me. Put it atop the Vanilla scent and you get an orange/ vanilla cake.....now everybody really wants to eat you!
