Note de Luxe

I love ylang ylang so I love it and I'm surprised by the negatives reviews.

This fragrance is not very good, among other things detected: Benzyl benzoate, salicylate, vanilla and what I do not like least: an amalgam of musks messy and pointless, very unnatural, linear, feeling around very creamy, dense and with so little time grace rather than a fragrance smells like a cosmetic or cream. Recommend test it before taking a scare. Rating: 2

154) Rejected at exam This is without doubt one of the first project of a student in perfumery ... he just doesn't know yet if this is a moisturizing cream for the body or for the face. Difficult to talk about that smell, there is such nothing at this point it would be like talking literature based on a child's homework.

Balsamic, powdery and vanilla- can one want more? Balsamic quality of the fragrance provided by tonka beans and benzoin create this luxurious and chic feeling, whilst vanilla add mature sweetness. Iris is here to soften the whole composition. But it softens it not enough, in my opinion. Note de Luxe becomes somewhat sharp after a while, like everything is about balsamic notes and citrus! Where does the sweet powdery vanilla go? I am not sure, but the fragrance lacks it. I mean vanilla and iris can be detected somewhere in the background, but I'd like them to be a bit louder. Anyways, Note de Luxe is a masterpiece creation and it's an honour to wear it. *update: on a piece of paper Note de Luxe is completelly different- a magnificent, splendid scent of incense! Absolutelly no sharpness, but a fragrance of incense, vanilla and iris. How weird, right? It probably doesn't go well with my chemistry.
