Brompton Immortals

Not personally into dark fragrances but I was looking for one to love and think this is it. First off it’s super strong made a mistake of doing 7-8 sprays on first try and almost killed everyone. 2-3 sprays max ... something I’m not used to coming from a fresh fragrance lover. The smell is great all round as it’s not a gourmand type smell for me 1 maybe 2 sprays will be good for everyday anytime of year but if 3-4 it’s suited for occasional use and cooler / evening time. Opening is high on saffron, incenses and pepper kind of smell but drys down into a spiced rose which I think sold it for me... I would definitely say it’s a class high quality statement scent and everyone will smell you just know when and how to wear it.... I’m awaiting a sample of the extrait version as it’s amped in the more opening scents but for me as it is this is a 10/10 for statement piece.

When I tried this for the first time, it became extremely masculine and very similar to Baccarat Rouge 540 on my skin, and I was very disapointed. However, I asked the staff at Harrods to let me try "Brompton Immortals adding Rose de Mai" later, and it was absolutely fascinating! It became softer and less masculine. I'd still say it's slightly similar to BR540, however smoother and more elegant...I think it'd be much better if rose is slightly more intense a bit, but still much better than the original!!! I'll definitely get this with personalized cap!

Easily one of the most sensual fragrances I’ve ever put my nose on. This fragrance is so luxurious and blended so perfectly that I struggle to pick out individual notes. It’s got this sweet-forward scent profile, alongside just the right amount of spice, just the right amount of florals, and just the right amount of darkness. My god, it’s just gorgeous! Rich, but never sickly or off-putting. Definitely gives luxury, opulence, and sensuality—hard to dislike and a real head-turner. Brompton Immortals.

Oh. My. God. One of the most stunning fragrances money can buy. Received compliments almost every single time I wore it. I usually hate vanilla fragrances but this has just the right amount not to be off-putting. The blend of the saffron, rose, incense, and everything else is just perfect. Very unisex and great for formal evening events. I never say this, but this is 10/10 Full bottle worthy, easy blind-buy.

This is undoubtedly one of the most amazing perfume releases in recent years. It’s smells incredibly smooth and sophisticated. So glad to have this in my collection, definitely one of my best purchases this year. Longevity and sillage is ridiculous. I can smell this on my jacket weeks later and I’m not exaggerating.

Beautiful sweet saffron and rose with a hint of vanilla in the drydown. Picked it on Ebay with a massive discount after the 2026 Harrods Fragrance Lovers calender became available with the Extrait version.

I’m usually not a fan of this house but this is the first one that I own and fell in love with. The bottle is gorgeous well made and scent 10/10.

After using this for a few days while on vacation. I find this is over-rated relatively generic spicy saffron vanilla with some florals thrown in. Projection and longevity were average or slightly above average given the scent profile. PdM’s Althair is leaps and bouns better than this if you ignore the dupes of that. For a spicy amber fragrance I would rather opt for one of the following: 1- Cartier Oud Vanille 2- PdM Althair 3- FM Musc Ravageur 4- Hermes Ambre Narguile 5- Dior Amber Nuit Espirit 6- Jovoy Remember Me As I continue writing this review I just realized how little I enjoy this. Thankfully got this as a gift with the Harrods Advent Calendar will probably declutter by year end.

Very pretty and sophisticated floral incense with a hefty price tag attached to it. The perfume opens briefly with aromatic notes of pink pepper and saffron before going into a dense heart of jasmine, rose, ylang and lily. The perfume settles settles on an incensy bed highlighted by a nice olibanum surrounded by syntheric musk, vanilla and patchouli. The slightly feminine leaning scent has strong sillage and very good longevity. You will feel quite regal and even a bit immortal wearing this luxurious composition. Enjoy!

I put this on after being traumatised by a scrubber just mins previously. This is such a lovely smooth fragrance that I really enjoyed wearing after the previous monstrosity. I do find that either the longevity isn't there or I go noseblind to this pretty quickly as it didn't really seem to last for me. I got my bottle via the Harrods fragrance advent calendar so I feel the price was reasonable but I wouldn't pay full retail for this.

A super smoothly blended combination of warm florals. Unisex for certain. The flowers are at the forefront and you can detect a hint of spice and a hint of vanilla. It is not a sweet fragrance. I like fragrances with a little metallic edge. This is no exception. Good fragrance but overpriced for what it is massively. Not a daily driver, feels more signature/occasional. I have yet to test performance.

This, to me, is way more masculine than feminine. Other reviewers can explain the note balance way better (and more accurately) than I can. I do actually like it, but if it makes any sense, it just doesn't sit right on me. It is beautifully blended, but the right fragrance and you kinda become one....where as this one and I sit more side by side. It's nice. Just not for me.

It's sexy,it's something women still can pull off if she wants something unusual in a good way.it's perfectly unisex . Flowery ,saffron with olibanum and Patchouli base.i don't want to sound cliche but it's reminded me of less sweet less airy Baccarat more flowery ,and denser. It's thick and more presence

I smelled this at Harrods yesterday. Initially I thought I preferred this to the extrait. But then I felt the extrait was more airy. In short, I couldn’t decide which I preferred but both impressed me and were really lovely. Unisex, spicy, sumptuous, balsamic and sexy.

I just got my sample of this. At first glance it reminds me SO much of Jardins de Misfah. One of my all time favorites. Dry down is a little different. If you don’t want to spend loads of money on Brompton, trust me and try the above one first. Both beautiful

Smells great but not for the price they are charging for it, rose/vanilla with spicy saffron and an earthy patchouli. Performance is middle of the road as well. Stop by my titktok for fragrance content: nerolicannoli

Oh man, this was so disappointing. My first fragrance from the house of ExNihilo, high up on my want list— finally received a decant from London a couple days ago. My experience went as followed: initial spray was pure alcohol but goes away after 2 seconds and opens to that pink pepper and saffron. Gorgeous. Then we get to the middle, Lots of musky rose, quite airy not so creamy but I was waiting for this to balance out for half an hour, an hour went by. I was visioning how long this would need to sit on my skin before I went out. Nope it was just pure musky sweet rose for the entire duration of the scent. Zero vanilla, patchouli, no balancing of notes whatsoever which is why this is was such a disappointment for me. I wanted this badly to be a killer fragrance, my signature, a confidence boost but it was anything but. If anything, it was a tad headache inducing with a single spray. I’d go outside and the wind would bring this rose back to me. I’m not a rose fragrance hater, but I’m not a fan either. This to me reminds me of very good girl on me. Strange. Just very in your face rose. What a miss. People even said this was a tad masculine—doesn’t pull that way on me. Very feminine rose I wish I had more to talk about but I don’t. Disappointed. Rose for 12 hours.

Super spicy opening with prominent pink pepper, the saffron gives depth but it isn't suede like or animalic, the mature rose blends with the pink pepper. Dense, projects well, lasts for 8 hours. If you dislike incense I don't think here it will bother you, it helps making the fragrance misterious and adding body to the aroma. The patch isn't earthy nor prominent, as with the incense you can detect its presence because the rose and pink pepper aren't enough to give this dense and dark feeling; sometimes it happens to me that I smell a fragrance that is well rounded and with depth and I think to myself "oh, there has to be patch" or "this has to have oud" BUT I don't detect it for itself, same here. ·Conclusion: spicy oriental rose, it reminds me to Twilly Eau Poivree because it has rose and pink pepper too. Well executed, elevated and elegant; not my style though just because pink pepper and rose aren't my favourite notes. This profile reads to me as something meant to be worn on special ocasion. It projects well and lasts long. Not for hot weather, not at all.

I’m stuck with a 10ml decant of this because I wanted it to be it so badly. I’ll consider donating this to the nursing home as air freshener for the lavatory. Trying not to feel jaded by this scent but it is what it is. On to the next.

Sweet rose. Some earthy spiciness. There's something fruity and almost lactonic like strawberry baby throw-up. Heavier and denser than Gold Immortals.

Suffocatingly strong with a chokesome fixative drydown. Gold Immortals is 1000 times better.

This is very good. It has a modern twist on an old school scent. That patchouli note is very wet and sticky similar to the vibe in Xerjoff's Tommi Iommi Monkey special. I prefer Brompton much more. Brompton has more facets than Than Tommi, in my opinion. Respectfully, a young man trying to pull this off would be hard. This smacks of experience, know-how and a self-confidence that I am not sure I would've interpreted correctly +/-35yrs old. Slightly churchy, more fall than any other season but wearable anytime depending on how heavy you spray. This is not unisex in my opinion. I would say it leans 60+% male/female. I would avoid spraying on clothes...I get a weird vibe once it's on clothes.

This is absolutely incredible. A creamy rose and saffron thing. Feels luxurious and is so so moreish. Perfectly unisex. I dream of perfumes this good. With a profile like this, you’d be forgiven for thinking winter frag. But wait, take it on holiday. Wear it in the evening when you’re all dressed up and heading out for a night in town. I get mostly rose, saffron and patchouli with some floral nuances and the fruitiness of pink pepper. I'm not getting any discernible vanilla. It's beautiful but not $385 worth of beautiful. To me it smells like there is one of those aroma chemicals in the dry down which makes things project for miles. I detect that in a lot of Ex Nihilo fragrances but it sort of annoys me in this one.

I LOVE this on my husband. It smells incredible on him. It's his signature evening fragrance. It's that good I have banned him from wearing it without me. I love rose and Saffron together anyway but it's the vanilla in the drydown which helps to make this so smooth. I might have started using it myself.

I got something from three fragrances in this: The burnt sugar from baccarat 540 Cotton candy and dirty patchouli from angel man The sharpness from fars. Well blended and luxurious, 9/10.

It is an elegant oriental scent with a bit of sourness, a lot of spiciness and just a tad of sweetness and florals to make it work for both men and women. A very good blend!

35/100 reminds me of another fragrance i can’t put my finger on. probably something from ELDO. it’s spicy and resinous in a cloying way. seasoned scent.

Smells old lady to me. My grandmother used to sell perfume for Avon in the 80s and she smelt like this
