Electra Gaze

This is that girl! The it girl! Wow! What an extraordinary perfume! I saw it in Selfridges and it was love at first sniff. Classy, sexy, alluring, a little carnal, addictive and definitely intoxicating. This is not like any other white floral and the comparison to L’interdict is an insult to this stellar perfume! Yes, it has a slight bubblegum smell but it’s just so elevated with the creamy sandalwood with the warm milk giving the sandalwood a smooth and almost edible feel. Electra Gaze is an utterly sensational, a true niche perfume and definitely full bottle worthy. I feel like this is the type of perfume that you would gatekeep and not share with anyone. 20/10, attention grabber, lasts, can be worn all year round but I would reserve for that moment when you want to stand out, no one will smell like you and it leaves a sensational trail! I need back up bottles! Edit: after owning it for 2 weeks and wearing I now see why the name is Electra Gaze 😜

I bought this blind in a sale. I was fairly confident she would be a good fit and I was right. She’s an elevated beauty. The bright and juicy opening that echos a spicier and creamier Bouquet Encore with just the right amount of green spikes to stop it being flat. The creaminess never gets sickly or too lactonic (that was the only thing I worried about). As she dries down I can actually see the resemblance to Rouge Malachite more strongly. A soft sandalwood base that never oversteps. The florals stay front and centre but this tango is tight and full bodied. Excellent performance and projection. If you are a white floral lover and you enjoy Rouge or Vert Malachite, Supreme Bouquet, Bouquet Encore etc then I think you’ll love her.

This is a sweet, bright tuberose but the hot milk note is noticeable. It serves to make this fragrance more cozy but never goes sour milk or too lactonic. Longevity and projection are great on me. I think it could work in every season but summer.

creamy milky white flowers withe a zest of orange, I also get cinnamon? a beautiful compassion. there are lots of fragrance with the above formula but for me this is so much better.

Electra Gaze opens with bright citruses and a gorgeous bubble gum tuberose. Toward the mid the orange blossom comes through and shares the stage. I would say the florals are equally balanced between the OB and Tuberose. I don’t get much Jasmine. The tuberose turns slightly solar and spicy, my preferred style of tuberose. The dry down is what makes this unique: warm, round, musky, lactonic- very sweet, rich and enveloping. Electra Gaze is extremely elevated and niche- one of the nicest white florals I’ve tried recently.
