Juicy fruits and very airy. Light, fresh, clean, beautiful. Unisex but more fem leaning. The fragrance is alcohol free, so it really won't project much. Longevity SHOULD be good, but it's hard for me to tell since I go nose blind relatively quickly. I wish this one wasn't priced the same as every other Ex Nihilo bottle, but it's nearly $400 for a 100ml- and that price point is insanely criminal and someone over at Ex Nihilo should be arrested for that crime.

smells like peach to my nose in the opening. Fig shows up in a minute, and the scent gets creamy. Lasts about 4-5h on my skin, it’s one of the best fig perfumes I have ever smelled. I like that it’s water based, no irritation to the skin and nose. Sillage is intimate, but good enough for myself to enjoy. Highly recommended!! I hope Ex Nihilo never discontinues this beautiful perfume.

What a wonderful perfum. I always love Figue and Philosycos is my favorite which is not ideal for the summer. Generations is just perfect. So soft and light however very clean and delightful sillage.

Longevity is also impressive , I can easily smell it on myself for at least six hours.

Well ... I ordered a test on this one without knowing that it apparently doesn’t include alcohol. I like creamy fig notes in perfume, the not too green/grassy ones, which this one has! It’s creamy, sweet and fruity but with a nice, woody base. I can also sense the pink pepper slightly. However, unlike most Ex Nihilos, this one stays really close to the skin and to be honest, I can barely feel it unless i keep it straight under my nose. It’s a very pleasant scent to my nose - I really love this type of fig scent, as I wrote. However, I wont purchase the full bottle since it’s ridiculously expensive if it’s not going to neither last, nor project well.

It's a beautiful scent, though nothing groundbreaking or phenomenal. To me, it feels like a well-blended mix of Gris Charnel and Fig Infusion—both of which I really enjoy—with a pleasant fruity touch that softens the dryness. Since Philosykos is one of my all-time favorites, I have to say I don’t notice any real similarity here. If I didn’t already own or know Gris Charnel and Fig Infusion, I could easily see myself falling in love with this one.

Really pretty musky skin scent with detectable notes of fig and sandalwood. I got a travel size but likely won’t upgrade to a full bottle just due to how close the fragrance sits to the skin and is very hard to detect. It’s more of a personal scent.

just bought a sample of this and overall the smell is lovely. the obvious downside is the poor projection i literally have to smell my wrists just to pick up the scent but the smell lasts long which is another plus

Just so you know: this fragrance has been formulated without alcohol, so it’s great for summer or for those with sensitive skin or nose. I like how the brand thought of different needs when creating this fragrance.

Initial impressions: a crisp, green fig intermingled with a zesty pink pepper. Generations defies the "soft and calming" label I expected; it’s much more high-energy and spirited than your typical tonka-musk blend. It favors playfulness over romance and stays very close to the body after the opening act. Interestingly, the powderiness stays hidden until the very end of the wear. While it’s a nice wear, it doesn’t quite reach the heights I look for as a musk enthusiast.

It's fresh, slightly sweet, and has a faint medicinal vibe, but it doesn't really impress me.

Smells exactly like Philosykos by Diptyque. The fig overwhelms everything.

If you had sprayed this on my arm told me this was a Calvin Klein fragrance, I would have thought that Calvin Klein had stepped down their game.

A hard pass from me. Poor performance, no projection, and a really bad rancid dry down. What a disappointment!

A well blended perfume. The top three notes listed are what carry this fragrance for most of its wear. The pink pepper and frankincense make a funky spicy mix that I think is toned down beautifully by the crisp pear and the creamy plushness of a fig note. It has a bit of sweetness, but I think it comes from the fig and the tonka and it’s definitely tolerable even if you don’t like sweeter scents. They did a good job at displaying every note and the overall experience is cozy and wearable. That is not to say that it will work for everyone because I do feel like the frankincense adds a bit of a twist to it. The performance for me could be better because the projection is extremely low and soft. I can detect a scent bubble for probably about two hours and then I am only able to pick up the scent if I intentionally sniff myself. The first time I wore this, I was extremely disappointed thinking that it faded way too quickly, but I have worn it several times now and it lingers on your skin for the whole day and your clothes as well. Again, it is very soft, but the performance is actually good (I am an over sprayer though). In terms of comparing this, it does not smell like Philosykos at all. The fig doesn’t even develop the same way and there isn’t any greenness here. Also not comparable to gris charnel, maybe family friends, but not relatives at all.

Alcohol Free Beauty This perfume is perfect for the high heat desert summer weather where I live. It's light, bright and refreshing. There's no alcohol in this, so it's perfect for sensitive skin. If you love a soft, airy, clean pear and fig scent, this is for you. It's soft wearing and perfect for summer! 4-6 hour wear time (due to it being alcohol free)that wears close to the skin. I really enjoy this!

Smells nothing like any of the reminds me of section. But I’m in love!! I hate the price for this, I forsure thought it would be at least 100 dollars less for being alcohol free. Many brands sell their EDT for less than their EDP. This is like an eau de cologne . So light but it’s sticks to the skin. Smellles PHENOMENAL . So clean and crisp /fruity, with a perfect fig note. I still want it...

it's nice - subtly sweet fruity and creamy, but doesn't project much and is not very strong in general. I get it that it's an alcohol-free formula and alcohol is what makes the fragrance push and project, but I think Hermetica nailed the alcohol-free formulas and all their frags are 3x stronger (for 1/3 of the price). So, not for this price, sorry

Nice scent which stays oily on the skin for a while due to lack of alcohol. It has a fresh tropical vibe almost like an almond coconut accord. The sandalwood is fresh and slightly green. Performance is better than I expected. Nice release by Ex Nihilo 🌴 --------------------------------------------- Scent 87/100

Doesn't smell like phylosycos one bit, phylosycos is very green leafy fig, this is sweet and fruity and a little bit funky.
