**10000/10** Gold Immortals completely exceeded my expectations. Right from the opening, I get a beautiful burst of pear, peony, and tonka bean. Those three notes dominate the first few minutes, creating a rich, sweet opening without feeling overly sugary. As it develops, the fragrance becomes much more complex. Instead of one note taking over, everything blends together beautifully into a perfectly balanced sweet-spicy composition. The amber gradually becomes more prominent and adds a warm, glowing depth that makes the scent even more addictive. In my opinion, this is Ex Nihilo's masterpiece and one of the most unique fragrances in modern perfumery. It has a distinctive character that feels luxurious, refined, and instantly recognizable. Ever since I first smelled it, I've found myself reaching for it over everything else. It has completely ruined many other fragrances for me because I keep wanting to come back to this one. It's also one of those rare scents that lingers in people's minds long after they've smelled it. To me, that's the definition of a true signature fragrance. It can be worn all year round, although I'd only reach for it on cooler summer evenings. Where it truly shines is during autumn and winter, when it works effortlessly for almost any occasion. My only minor criticism is that the musk feels slightly too strong in the beginning, but thankfully it softens as the fragrance settles, allowing the rest of the composition to breathe. Performance is simply outstanding. I sprayed it at 8 a.m., and by midnight it was still projecting and leaving a noticeable scent trail around me. Longevity and sillage are easily among the best I've experienced. The presentation is just as impressive as the fragrance itself. The bottle looks incredibly elegant, and its color perfectly reflects the warm, luxurious character of the scent. Oooh, this gorgeous amber heaven. It has a very modern oriental vibe to it. In the beginning pear is very noticeable and smells like freshly squeezed juice. Bergamot on my skin hopped away very fast but I don't mind it at all. I get some hint of jasmine, yellow flowers and spices in the beginning as well. Tonka and amber are quite sweet and very-very-very creamy.Musc in the base is very clean and is used mainly as fixative to prolong this scent's charm. Gold Immortals has a vague hint of almost something like oud hidden in the background (if you know venenum kiss from the same house, it's 1/100th of it's aura that can be noticed here as well). I've sampled all of ExNihilo fragrances from this house. Some I like, some I hate but this is so different. I've never ended up getting full size bottle but this is love to my amber-obsessed nose. It's intoxicating, cozy, warm, sweet and resinous above all. It's been in our local boutique for 2 months now so I got to wear it in the last days of summer and now during the dead of fall. In both cases it's beautiful even though it changes with the weather quite a bit. It's more feminine leaning to my nsoe because of the floral aspect in the mid but gents should give it a go if you like oriental florals. It wears for 12h hours easy with soft projection after 7h. Before that it can easily fill a room so use sparingly. Also test it directly on skin. On paper it smell very vague.

I don’t know why this perfume doesn’t get more love. Sure, it’s expensive, but less so than PdM and MFK, both of which appeared in the “this reminds me of” section but I disagree with the comparisons. To me, this does not smell like BR40, Delina, or even Explicite. BR40 is less fruity, Delina is more sour and fresh, and Explicite is sweeter. Gold Immortals may not be groundbreaking but it still brings something a little different to the table. I think it’s a really well-made perfume. Warm, ambery fruity floral that I thought was pretty versatile in terms of season and could be appropriate for both day and evening. Longevity is fantastic. One spritz on the inside of my arm lasted me about 20 hours until I showered and even after that I’m pretty sure I got a faint whiff. This one is now at the top of my wish list. Update: after smelling it some more, I do see a bit of a resemblance with Delina, maybe because of the bergamot, peony, and musk, but this one has amber and is less sour because of the lack of rhubarb. This is actually more similar to Exclusif than the original Delina. There is something about Exclusif that I don't love but can't pinpoint. I enjoy Gold Immortals much more than Exclusif, and possibly more than or on par with Original Delina.

When I smelled this blindly (literally, no label, no hints, nothing, and then was told what it was later) I thought this was a fruity (perhaps raspberry) rose fragrance with amber and possibly the slightest bit of a synthetic oud. I was convinced there was a strong rose so I was very surprised to see no rose in the pyramid. The lysylang must be something new to me as it does not come off as ylang ylang at all. I am very picky about ylang ylang and normally dislike it in fragrances. I LOVE this. Brompton Immortals has rose in the pyramid and people compare the two, so I wonder if it’s just not disclosed, but present. I get no real similarity to BR540, but the pear is similar to La Belle but the rest of the fragrance is fresher and brighter, and more ambery at the same time. Edit 2/19: current obsession I am seeking out a full bottle and there are 3 fragrances this replaces for me. Could potentially become a signature. Edit 3/8: got my bottle. I love this scent.

I recently requested a sample of this with my last LuckyScent order as the bottle looked beautiful, and the notes on the website description seemed spot on for me. The initial spray is very juicy pear to me, but it quickly dries down to a very sweet floral scent. The peony note is very reminiscent of 'Fleur de Peony' by AERIN but sweeter. The majority of my time wearing the perfume is that middle peony note with a vanilla backing. I really enjoyed this perfume and was thinking I'd purchase after my sample but I keep thinking the scent is VERY familiar. So I smelled ALL the peony scents in my collection - no dice. Next I try pear/vanilla combos and I realize this perfume is Delina Exclusif but without the light spiciness of the oud. tl;dr - 9/10 - Smells eerily similar to Delina Exclusif, but at a better price point. I'd purchase this before Delina Exclusif again but it'll be awhile before I'm through my bottle.

I agree with everyone that says that this scent is underrated. It is such a stunning composition! For me it feels so warm and cosy, but also very sexy and attractive, but in a really classy, elegant way. Even though this is a deeper, spicier scent it never makes me get tired of it, or it never feels too much. Unfortunately there is something in Baccarat Rouge that just really bothers me, so this is a great alternative for me. I know it is an expensive parfum, but I think it's really worth to invest in it, because it is truly special and sophisticated. I am also pleased that we can both use it with my fiance, I think depending on the person wearing it it can really lean in any direction.

I’m actually shocked no one else has said this but to my nose, if you were to layer Chloe Nomade and a little bit of Baccarat Rouge 540...you have Gold Immortals. I LOVE this scent. It’s sophisticated, intoxicating, sexy and has amazing performance. This can be worn to work and on a date night. A beautiful combination of fruity, amber and floral. The pear is strong in the opening but then fades and blends with the amber and tonka leaving a creamy, slightly powdery dry down. I could easily see this becoming someone’s signature scent. It may be a little too heavy to wear in the summer but this could be worn year round in my opinion.

It feels like every other fragrance is compared to Baccarat Rouge! I am not picking up on any similarities.. But I love Gold Immortals, I ordered a set of samples from the Ex Nihilo website and the description got me, but it has exceeded my expectations. It's smells incredibly expensive, classy and decadent. There's a kind of fizziness to it, like a fine champagne or prosecco (as there is sweetness). It's long lasting and the sillage is beautiful. It does well in the heat but I have a feeling that cooler weather might be elevate it further. High price point but I am very tempted..

I went to buy MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold, which they didn't have and they suggested I try this instead. Wow. Love at first sniff. A burst of sweet juicy pear with some citrus, then sweet lovely florals (I love peony), but not heavy sweet, it remains airy and light. I've been wearing this a lot for a month now and have gotten so many compliments. Lasts the whole day on my skin and several days on my clothes. Feminine and classy. I don't think it smells similar to gentle fluidity gold, probably closer to baccarat rouge as the vibe, but I much prefer this.

A beautiful floriental fragrance for people who love deep rich florals with a hint of sweetness. If you love Baccarat Rouge 540 and you want something that isn't fully synthetic, with raw materials that is more unique which you won't go noseblind to try Gold Immortals EDP and extrait if you like it with vanilla and more musk. Gold Immortals keeps blowing me away whenever I test it, having had a decant for a little over a week now. Somehow the opening of Instant Crush reminds me of the opening here, despite their listed notes having so little crossover. My preference is to lean more unisex in scent, and while this does feel more feminine to my nose I've been assured by a friend that it doesn't read overly feminine to her at least. A radiant, heady and lush golden aura.

I don't get the comparisons to BR540, Gentle Fluidity, Instant Crush or Delina. To me this smells like a very warm, yet sweet, clean, amber yellow floral. Even though I've sampled many fragrances, this is unique and smells nothing like I've smelled before. Incredible longevity and generous sillage. Stays on clothes forever too. I find this a great scent for spring and summer. I purchased a 50ml bottle yesterday.

UPDATE 2: Today I wore Gold Immortals and the first 2/3 hours it smelled like the opening but like 4 hours in a friend of mine at work kept saying “Someone here is snelling like Mancera’s Instant Crush!” and it ended up being me! I also smell it now. So yes, the opening is very floral but the drydown really does remember me of Instant Crush. I get the comparisons now.

My signature scent for the past year. A sparkling, almost salty amber combined with the most delicate peony. It’s oriental, floral, a little sweet. Might be a little strange on paper, but this one warms up on the skin so nicely. Longevity is great and the project is just as nice. Not a safe blind buy, I don’t think it’s everyone’s taste. This one is a 10/10 for me

I have never smelled anything like this. The closest to this experience was maybe the first time I tried Baccarat Rouge 540, but Gold Immortals is miles ahead for me. I could not describe the profile, I don't get individual notes, I just feel an overwhelming stereo cloud of sweet, airy, out of this world smell. Makes my knees week every time I get a whiff of it.

Gold immortals smells exquisite, someone said it smells like baccarat rouge and Chloe and I have to agree. Take an oriental fragrance and add aldehydes with a wind of powdered sugar. It’s sweet and strong but not cloying, very airy,sultry and alluring. Leaves an intoxicating scent trail, I love it for special events. Can be worn year round!

I absolutely adore this fragrance. It’s mature but not vintage. Sweet and refined the notes are blended to perfection. The longevity and projection are moderate to good. I get a solid 6 hours of Gold Immortals bliss before I feel the need to reapply. I do not get the references to this being synthetic. This to me is a 10/10.

Absolutely charming. Very classy scent and smells expensive. It’s fresh and warm and yes very powdery and floral. There are layers to this and it takes you on a journey. I find the opening to be just as good as the dry down. The most beautiful offering from the brand IMO.

What the heck?! This one was just beastly today. 15 hours and I smell it wafting around me! And the whole wear has been a joy. So happy to have the full bottle. As I’ve said before I don’t get BR540 at all and disliked instant crush. This is so much better.

To me this encapsulates the golden hour in a field of delicate yellow and pink flowers warmed by the sun. Pollen and all. The rich amber and tonka gives balance and a hell of a smooth dry down. That pear in the opening is gorgeous too. Love this one!

Omg this is beautiful, so stunning! It smells like GOLD really, my favorite Ex Nihilo fragrance. I strongly disagree with the BR540 and Delina similarities, this is a totally different vibe (it is simalar to MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold imo)

A grandiose journey through roses, rhubarb candy, body odour, creamy vanilla, floral skank, metallic sheen and burnt sugar. After a few hours it's just iso e super and ambroxan, but what a ride! Absolutely wonderful.

Amber heavy fragrances can be hit or miss to my nose. But Gold Immortals is so lovely. Ambery, light florals, hint of sweetness. Very well blended, great cooler weather scent. Layers really well with Blue Talisman!!

UPDATE: Today a friend of mine was wearing Instant Crush, but her sillage smelled like Gold Immortals to me. So now I do kinda understand why Instant Crush is mentioned in the ‘reminds me of’-section.

Wow wow wow. What a beautiful scent. This is my favourite from the house. It leaves a sweet and spiced scent in the air. An extremely safe blind buy. You must have this if you enjoy sweet spices.

It feels like baccarat rouge scent trial but much better

I'm still deciding if this is a strong like or a love but felt the need to write a review after seeing some of the other reviews here. In the opening, I mainly pick up on the bergamot. That doesn't last long to my nose as it quickly settles to a warm creamy floral musk type of scent. The first time I tested this it was truly unique to my nose- I attributed it to the Lys Ylang. It has almost a creamy fruity vibe. If this aspect lasted longer on my skin, it would likely become my new signature! But about an hour in, I can detect more of the peony which I think is where people are saying this smells like Delina because it is a slightly musky peony. The drydown has more of a warm amber quality, which I guess is why others are comparing to BR540? More of a musky quality after 4 hours. Overall, this is a warm, yet (lightly) sweet, clean, amber floral. Personally, I don't think this smells like either Delina or BR540- they might have notes in common but the compositions are different. Delina has more of a tart sharpness to my nose from the Litchi/Rhubarb and the rose is more prominent in that one. BR540 is way more spicy and sugary amber to my nose. I would say Shaina87's review below is the closest to what my experience has been. But for some reason, I can't see myself getting a full bottle. I think there's something about Ex Nihilo's musk that I don't love for whatever reason.

When I first sprayed this on my wrists, I thought, ughhh too much musk. But within a couple minutes when it started warming up on my skin that went away. The musk is definitely still there but it's not musty like it was as soon as I sprayed it. The pear and bergamot opening is gorgeous. A clean and fresh but also warm floral with a fruitiness from the pear. And just a touch of brightness from the bergamot. In the dry down there's just a tiny hint of powdery-ness with the amber and Tonka. The fresh musky floral stays the start of the show for me. I really like this. I'm going to keep using my sample, but I'm thinking I might need a bottle of this. The longer it's on my skin the more I like it. Edit/ the more I've sampled this, the more I want a full bottle. It's beautiful!

This fragrance is an interesting play on opposites! Sweet, syrupy pear and fresh bergamot. Fresh, sheer peony and thick, spicy lyslang. Fuzzy, synthetic musk and rich, animalic amber. On my skin I get mostly the heady aspects- pear, lyslang and amber. The peony makes an appearance in the background for the first hour. Gold Immortals feels like a modern interpretation of old Hollywood glamour, but never dated or too vintage. I don’t find this similar to BR540 or Delina in any way. The peony is reminiscent of the peony in Chloe, but they are completely different scents. Explicite is much more vintage than this. If you like this vibe you might check out LV Fleur du Desert- totally different notes, but similar in ‘vintage glamour’ with a modern twist.

Get this one if you want to take a journey through time. This starts off as a late 1980s beast, very vintage and bold. The dry down is completely different, and feels like the early 2000s with a soft, light sweetness of fruit and flower. The amber base keeps it grounded and provides the depth needed to back up the sweetness and make the overall composition very contemporary. It's a very nice perfume, and signature worthy. Not sure I'd call it unisex, but it does have the strength and spice of vintage perfumes that makes them a hint more chic, mature, or daringly masculine leaning. 8/10.

This took me a while to work with it but it is thick and opulent. It has opulence like a rich lady. It is like a sweet yellow floral type of a scent with something like a nectar. NOTHING like 540.. at alllll, Actually a bit of Amouage Dia Woman with a bit of vintage vibe. It just give the richness vibe this scent gives and warmth too. Needs a specific occasions or a specific attire to be pulled of. Leaning more feminine and mostly Fall and winter. Performance is great really, long lasting and nice. I like it but I just don't think it suits my personality.

I’ve had a travel size of this for a while but for some reason I haven’t reached for it. Well today that changed and I’m glad I reached for it. This is what I would call a grown up scent. I found it totally unisex and really enjoyed wearing it at work / although it’s also suitable for evening wear. I even got a compliment in the office saying I smelt gorgeous! It lasted all day on me and I didn’t find it cloying. The notes blended well together. I can sometimes find pear and peony a bit much but her they are done well and I enjoyed it.

This smells like Chanel’s Le Lion. It has a very similar opening but lacks the depth and darkness of the patchouli that I’ve become quite fond of. This is a very nice scent for someone who wants to love Le Lion but can’t do the patchouli. I don’t get Delina here at all, and I don’t smell any peony either. This is very Amber heavy, a burst of bergamot in the opening with a dry amber and tonka dry down. Slightly musky. It smells like a leather couch in a dark corner of a library in Brooklyn.

to my nose, this is masculine leaning. I can see I’m far in the minority on that, but it reminds me of my father’s colognes. It doesn’t strike me as particularly floral, to my nose, it smells spicy. Noting that I’m sampling via a decant from DecantX, but I’m sincerely wondering if it was mislabeled. I’m not getting any of the scent profile listed here, so perhaps there was so mix up! Regardless, it is a lovely fragrance, though wildly not what I was expecting based off fragrantica.

A warm floral scent with rich musk and hints of pear and peony, anchored by tonka and amber. It has excellent longevity on the skin; just 2-3 spritzes are sufficient. I find it unisex and prefer this to the Extrait version, which feels too intense. If you think this leans classical or "grandma," the Extrait won't be for you.

I smelled this yesterday in store and it was a very likeable feminine sweet scent. Pear, vanilla, light florals and sweet amber. Extremely wearable. I tested many from the line and Ex Nihilo scents seem crowded pleasing and easy to understand overall whilst maintaining a certain level of high quality.

Okay this was a jarring experience as it smells identical to my grandma. Every little thing about it. It's quite insane but obviously this is something I would never intend on wearing unless I worked at a retirement home and wanted to pick up older women. Dries into a semi-realistic rose.

Gold Immortals is a lighter version of Brompton Immortals, with less animalistic musk notes which allows for the full composition to shine through My husband has both and I prefer Gold over Brompton. This is definitely for a confident man!

Sweet ambery fruity nondescript florals! I imagined the "lysylang" to be more distinct than it actually is in this fragrance. Smells very nice! But not worth the high price for me personally. -

This is a thick one with sweet soft amber core , I feel its the oriental Amber-Floral take to TM Pure Malt. For Oriental ambery floral lovers , nice to try.

I found this fragrance masculine leaning. The musk completely swallows the delicate pear and bergamot in the opening, leaving almost none of the brightness I expected. I only get a faint trace of citrus and florals before the base takes over entirely. The musk itself is dry, powdery, and reminiscent of classic men’s cologne, which pushes the whole composition firmly into masculine territory. The softer floral and citrus notes never get a chance to shine. I’m naturally drawn to ultra‐feminine floral fragrances, and I wanted to experiment with something a little musky, but this one is far too heavy and for my taste. I would like to smell this on my husband but not myself.

Very floral, very powdery, very cosy. It's definitely something I see on a mature person and I use the term grandma in a very neutral sense. It's the kind of rose in it that reminds me of perfumes from the 80s 90s my aunties and grandma would wear. Very similar vibe. If you know the pink Yardley powder from olden days, it smells very similar, at least to me. I love pear notes but everything else in it together doesn't work for me. It's a very pretty scent, but for someone else. Lasts forever on my skin and clothes. And yes, very comparable to BR540 and patiala, much closer to patiala than BR I'd say.

Dissapointing. Expected more with this, but all you get is overpriced basic musky-sweet smell which you can feel on everyone when going out on friday night. Dont get me wrong, it is quite pleasant and "safe", but very generic. Happy, that I got only a sample. Longevity of this one is great though.

this has BR540 airy quality not in the scent but the vibe. if you love Lysylang and BR540 dna go for it. personally I don’t like ylang ylang so I don’t see myself wearing it but it’d be lovely on other people. Gold Immortals is a mature scent. the projection and longevity are also very good.

When I smelled it I thought of juicy ripe fruit and osmanthus, godly bodies and gold tan. It was a dreamy sensation. Perhaps it was a dream. The reality is that GI musky floral amber is not my type of ambrosia, and leaves me unmoved. ***(**)
