Nocturama

This is UNIQUE. Truly unlike anything I’ve ever smelled before. I am addicted to it. It has a creamy sweetness in the beginning, very honey-like. Almost overpowering but after a few minutes it dies down. This all being from the strange Narcissus which really doesn’t smell like any other floral. As it dries it turns into this complex watery musky scent. Very light leather on the base with notes of rose hidden as well. Just so many layers to it! This really is mysterious, and I can totally understand how this is inspired by the Film Noir genre. It makes me feel like I’ve discovered a clue no one else has seen, like I’m some daring Femme Fatale. It has this deeply sexy undertone almost like sweat, and wears on me so well people have given me quite the compliments! . I can understand why this might be divisive to some but I am someone who likes Avant-Garde scents. If you wanna smell something really special I’d encourage you to get a sample first, this is definitely not something to blind buy. But that said, I will be getting a full bottle because I’m obsessed. It wears a good amount of time and on clothes it stays even longer. This will be my signature scent and I hope it doesn’t become discontinued!

I had a review here in the past and find it gone. The calamus is overpowering for me and the combination with the leather to me is vile. Truly one of the few perfumes I hate. So off putting and not even in an intriguing way.
