Sacred Tobacco

Scared something. Interesting blend of castorium, civet, clove pipe tobacco, cinnamon and sandalwood, all applied onto a leather jacket. Clever blending. Good stuff. Something like animalic incense. Hints of oud.

Da diversi anni smanetto con un certo successo con oli essenziali, alcool, fissativi ecc ho soddisfatto diversi amici e parenti creando fragranze retrò, realistiche, floreali ,orientali ecc Per un periodo ho sfornato alcune versioni di un mio "cuoio di russia" , a base di note coriacee, catrame di betulla, legni ecc ebbene il mio olio di catrame di betulla arrivava quasi sempre a stancarmi se non miscelato al minimo e tuttavia andava lontano dal fumo di tabacco, lontano dalla pelle in sé e quasi sempre verso un fumo da barbecue/bacon ecc. In apertura questa fragranza Sacred Tobacco mi ricorda questi miei esperimenti, una bomba dolciastra e cuoiata di catrame di betulla. Non appena si riscalda emergono le spezie e maggiore dolcezza così da raggiungere in poco tempo lo stesso accordo di Grimoire di Anatole lebreton...! Insomma.....Barbecue, cenere, pellami, vecchie chiese...ok....ma...il tabacco....? Purtroppo NON mi ricorda nemmeno la cenere del tabacco o l'odore del suo fumo.... Persistenza discreta, sillage moderato su di me e....meno male...! Tanto ne ho giusto un fondino che presi per provarlo....

Bought sacred tobacco in the hopes of finding a pure extract of aged tobacco leaves, and especially after how raw and unpolite Cacao Ritual was. Unfortunately i got lots of furr that has been fumigated, which is not a bad things on its own, but not what perfume name was offering in its name. If anyone ever had furr coat on - it is the feeling of bristles that gently glide across your face, warm and cold at the same time. Quite hard to explain in scent terminology. On top of that - you get a gentle smoke thats reminiscent of regular firewood smoke, but from a distance, which is rather pleasant. It is a nice enough combo of 2 elements, but again, not what i was looking for. Only idea i can link to tobacco is the smoke that is left on expensive furr, so if you are looking for this - its best perfume in its genre. If your looking for tobacco leaves scent or cigar aroma - move on.

Ah man this was instant love for me. Just like their Cacao Ritual and Animal Cafe, their focus is the main ingredient and they don't try to be super complex or anything. So this is very much the focus on the dry aspect of tobacco where cloves makes it slightly spicy and musky sandalwood to give it balance. So very simple that way. But this is HIGHLY natural smelling. Being natural with this profile makes it smell very ancient, rusty and something that transports you back to the old world.

Stupendo È bellissimo quanto siano pure le materie prime e come si distinguano Bellissimo fumo di betulla finale.
