Another gem from Exuma Parfums At first spritz....I thought Santal 33...but that quickly changed. All sandalwood firstly, then cedar/light oud..ambery-vibes..saffron underneath. The patchouli is just right in this. Light balsamic references. In the dry down...musk appears more, to my nose. Smooth and classy !!! Moderate sillage/projection.

Wood, wood, dry spicy wood. Wood Sultan is a very masculine perfume which features cedar, sandalwood and oud very well. The cedar in not sharp and there is a slight mentholated/medicinal feel to the base of this perfume which might be from the oud or the patchouli. The woods are all well balanced and the oud is not as strong as some of my middle eastern perfumes. I am wearing this in summer so the experience will be different in cooler weather. Wood Sultan gives me a similar feel as Guerlain's Songe De Bois D'Ete in summer. Not a dupe of course. I will wear this in any weather because it is dry and unsweetened. Overall, a very refined and classy perfume. EDIT: Wood Sultan is gorgeous in cooler weather. It is so much better in sub 60F than warmer weather. I will reserve this for cooler weather stunner.
