F1 IV

So crazy but this one might be my favourite of the group!! It’s called ‘Neeeum white’ (not the foggiest idea why!?!?) It has an effervescence (again!!!) but could never be mistaken for champagne, it's an exotic floral accord which evokes very feminine, thick, modern, ylang/jasmine/tuberose, reminds me of Mugler or something? sounds fatty right? Nope, it's light on it's feet with pangs of fresh top notes and a generally floral air. I get the reference in the notes here of Narcissus because it does have a heady, wetness but doesn't feel particularly natural, (something I associate with narcissus) this has an alien feel (I don't mean Mugler alien) metallic too. Like the air freshener in a UFO! I would say it's hugely feminine and I don't really get the fougere elements, but boy do I like it! I need to test it further to confirm what is going on, but it's a bit of a frilly blouse of a thing, I'll wear anything and if I say it's femme....take it from me it's pretty femme! I think it's great though. UPDATE: having put it on my skin now it’s not that feminine at all, very fresh, vibrant and something I describe as ‘the excitement when approaching a perfume department’, it’s the charged smell of ambroxan and a million twinkly just sprayed, tops of fragrances. This has tons of those vibes, I’ve smelled it before but I just don’t care!!! It’s great! Minimal in the sense of cool, ambergris breeze and amorphous aroma chemical base, but lavish & impactful with the floral element and a developing neroli/generic White floral which is a little hand cream like but never gets to be just that because of all the sparkle surrounding it. If this was a Creed I might turn my nose up at the price, or a Versace in one of those jewel 💎 bottles, I’d just dismiss it as not for me, femme marketed biz! Something tips this over into just a rung above some crappy designer. I don’t know what? Hate any terms relating to ‘niche quality’ or whatever because what even is that anymore? But this is elevated, not to the elite, but just below. I’m still astounded that I’m enjoying it so much! Oh don't be fooled by their representation on here (Fragrantica), the bottle shown (gold one) is part of an exclusive special edition version made from a choice of Stainless steel, titanium, and a gold plated ( the one pictured here) three different designs all of which are AMAZING!!! However, they are 3D printed and the technology for metal 3D printing is absolutely cutting edge and as such these incredible flacons cost a whopping $10k each! so unless you have an F1 drivers salary, it's unlikely any mortal 'fraghead' can afford the bloody things. So just to note then that the 'normal' bottles (retail at £195) which are AMAZING too (just not like the pictured one is my point) are also 3D prinnted but from a much more affordable resin material, in a kind of biomech latticework which reminds me of a combination of muscle tissue, HR Geiger artwork or Cronenberg's New flesh, and the roof of that fancy art gallery/museum in Dubai. I want one quite badly they are seriously COOL!!!
