Knowing BR540 well, this fragrance obviously takes inspiration from the iconic composition. This is the Italian rendition of BR540 no doubt–– it separates itself from the gritty sensuality of France and embraces the joviality of Italy. The opening immediately screams BR540 clone. However, as the fragrance dries down, the differences start to peak through. Overall, I'd say this one is a bit more airy. The fir and floral notes are slightly fresher and more green–– not quite as deep and full as BR540. It also has an interesting sappy, slightly-licorice element to it. The floral and saffron notes maintain the sweetness of the scent, but they're not entirely distinguishable. This is definitely brighter and lighter than both of the MFK concentrations. The projection is decent, but not stellar, and it lasts upwards of 5-6 hours. It's a sweet, youthful romantic skin scent. Ultimately, I'd pin this as the cheaper, daytime cousin of BR540.

Yes, it does have ressamblence with Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540, but it's more complex in terms of development and even smells better. Definitely unnisex, may be a bit on the masculine side.Close to the skin, good sillage. Calm, relax,smood, zen, perfect for office and date out. Very good parfume for every day and eny season. So far, one of my favourite. Recommended! Score:9/10
