This is one of my favorite samples I’ve tried from Fantôme so far! So feminine and pretty. The rose and white tea and honey combine beautifully. Smells just like drinking hot cup of jasmine tea with honey in a lush rose garden while journaling. The paper note is what I got a first and remains present for most of the wear time, and the paper never leans too dusty or too sterile. It’s giving new but natural paper if that makes sense. This smells very similar to Lycanthrope to me (probably the honey note), but more clean and crisp and feminine . If Lycanthrope is a real garden, Gion is, like, the fantasy of a garden.

This has been one of my favorites from Fantome for years. I always recommend it to people that want a really good cosmetic frag. It does give “makeup powder” but it’s in a modern interpretation.

I got a freebie sample of this and I love it so much more than the sample I actually bought! It's a sweet, tart, ever so slightly dusty scent. It smells floral and light, with slight notes of paper and an even slighter touch of honey. It's floral and clean, until the paper hits your nose just right, and the bright floral is dampened by the more composed paper scent. It's sweet, with an unusual twist to make it something other than a standard rose scent. Its longevity leaves something to be desired, but the scent itself is quite nice.
