Olwyn

it's really nostalgic and a realistic floral. it smells classy and almost designer-ish upon first spray, but then quickly develops into a very earthy garden of warm white flowers. the dry down is a bit animalic on me which is my only drawback, since it settles into a sort of odd musky, damp mildew scent that evokes the smell of a wet deer (?) if i could guess what a wet deer would smell like. probably the benzoin and myrrh, since it's super resinous on the dry down. it's a very multifaceted perfume which i do love though. overall very pretty, kind of otherworldly and strange. it does match the art on the bottle, like an elven princess named Olwyn who hangs out in white flower gardens on a sunny afternoon in spring, wearing a crown of white flowers, surrounded by forest animals, with the faint trace of vanilla pods and myrrh incense floating in the air. it also matches the color of the juice: golden yellow, like a warm sunny spring day.

nice delicate smelling white floral. it's very warm, slightly powdery imo. my main issue is it kind of smells like lotion or something like that, but not too prominently (i got the perfume oil so this may not be the case in the spray), other than that i find that it is quite nice and realistic. it's not indolic at all so if that's something that you prefer i would suggest buying something else.

Admittedly I tried this mainly for the name. A very sweet white floral. Strong gardenia. Not powdered. I got a large sample and it seems to improve the longer I have it. My only complaint is that it smells a bit synthetic.
