Anniversary

Let’s talk about Anniversary! Spicy and aromatic, like most of their fragrances, it feels old world with a modern twist. It is a scent I’d imagine myself wearing in the afternoon or nighttime on a leisure stroll. It smells familiar but you don’t know what. This one opens warm and spicy with hints of cinnamon and orange blossoms. Midway the cloves and wood develop along with the vanilla giving it a touch of sweetness and creaminess with a zing! Great blend. Very bold and sexy. Very good longevity, lasting for at least 8 hours on my skin. (Probably longer if I didn’t shower 😬). Sillage and projection moderate and that is more than enough for a scent like this. Anyone standing next to you will definitely smell it. Aside from Anniversary, I have tried their other fragrances. All of them smell good but I have my stand outs. Among the few are Giardino Dell’Iris, Accord Marino, Fiore Di Cotone and Vi Dell’Incenso. But I guess you still have to try all of them!

Just got a sample of this gem today and i gotta say i am in love. For me nutmeg is certainly the first to come through with little bit of cinnamon, clove and tobacco. I think tobacco and leather gives nice depth and little smokiness to this scent while vanilla and sandelwood softens everything. Absolutely worth every penny... if deeper spicy scents are your thing. I for certainly will buy big bottle for my collection. Amazing scent for colder days for sure. Two light sprays will give you great performance for the whole day and sillage is a great too so be mindful of it. P.s. People who have a misfortune to suffer bad headaches or migraines should probably try first before buying the big bottle.

Got a discovery kit from this house. Was pretty happy with a few fragrances -- strength, clarity, and longevity are house specialities -- and then I smelled this. Wow! What a beautiful scent. The first couple of hours are cinnamon candy with chili: spicy spicy cinnamon candy. Gradually it fades into clove cookie, cozy and warm but not Christmasy. Beautiful scent, and different.

Since theres so many wonderful descriptions of this perfume Ill make it quick. In short, if compared to Tom Ford Tabacco Vanille, its missing the fruity notes (dry fruits) and is more spicy due to the cinnamon. Makes Tabacco Vanille seem like a day scent, this is spicier, darker, manlier, a bit old fashioned, yet elegant.

What happened with this fragrance is quite interesting. Five months ago, in early spring, I tested a decant and didn’t like it at all—too much clove, too cloying, definitely not my style. I put it away in my closet and forgot about it. Now, with the weather turning cold, I smelled it again by chance and voilà! A totally different experience: warm, cozy, spicy but not overwhelming, and with far less clove. I’m not sure whether the decant matured over time or if my nose simply evolved with the change in temperature, but the transformation surprised me. It makes me realize how hard it is even to trust my own impressions so how can we fully trust anyone else’s advice? Fragrances are truly special; emotions, weather, and even cultural background all shape the way we perceive them.

I only feel cloves and cloves ☹️ It's like gingerbread and hot wine in one 😒
