Oriental Casbah

I mean... if you are a PATCH fan as I am .... this is gonna drive you crazy! . This is Patchouly , a patchouli... with some freshness due to the amazing combination of eucalyptus ( very present ) . Try it! .. I let mine "macerate" for a couple of weeks... and Yeah, patchouli , the 70 ́s way, with a twist. It's amazing ! I have bought already a back up bottle........♥️

Absolutely no marine note in here. It's why I should never ever have tried it if not visiting Florence. This is a gorgeous realistic Patch' and the Extrait concentration/structure makes it a dream that blossoms on a heated moist skin. It lasts, lasts... The best patchouli I've ever had (and I can't tell them). Nothing yummy or childish. This is a very strong stuff.

Its dominant straightforward patchouli scent, no foreplay, no marine notes, other notes doesnt pop up from composition. I will put this with patchouli from SNM as the best patchouli scents. Will say its more dry patchouli with hint of spice / root(earthy) and chocolate, dont get any dump or musty nuances. Masculine classic patchouli, very safe but also bold.

Patchouli without compromise, the real thing. Eucalyptus makes it even more beautiful by giving it a note of freshness. 10/10

My nose picks up earthy patchouli enmeshed with labdanum and not much else. This fragrance does not make me think of Oriental casbahs, but rather an old cathedral: worn, lacquered furniture; ancient traces of incense; cemetery dirt... It is very earthy, becoming slightly more so during the relatively uneventful drydown. It scratches a similar itch as other fragrances in my collection. It's like the lovechild of ELDO Marquis de Sade and Obvious Parfums Un Patchouli, making it feel familiar, but without evoking similar affections. I don't have a strong reaction this one, nor do I feel I know anything about this house's quality and artistic competence based on this one encounter.
