Reunion Vanilla

Why is no one talking about this! This is a beautiful vanilla & orchid scent cloud. If you love Outremer Vanille, Ahwaz Helwa and/or Mazzolari Vaniglia, Reunion Vanilla is in the same wheelhouse however with the orchid touch its has a floral aspect to it...so like a floral Helwa! I don't get any amber or white woods however the musk makes this fragrance radiate and creates the most beautiful vanilla, orchid & cotton candy scent bubble. When I say cotton candy I want to give the impression that this fragrance is sweet & fluffy. Reunion Vanilla last about 4-5 hours with a sweet soft sillage. My love for vanilla fragrances is unmatched so I don't mind having this in my collection even though it is a bit repetitive. I will gravitate towards Reunion Vanilla if I want to smell like Helwa without feeling guilty spraying it. If you love the above vanilla fragrances you can totally blind buy this! The second I tested Reunion Vanilla it was a love at first sniff! One reviewer mentioned that Reunion Vanilla reminds them a bit of BR540 and I can understand what they mean because both smell like burnt sugar/cotton candy but please don't think this is anything close to BR540 - this is strictly vanilla & cotton candy/burnt sugar. Edit: I MUST mention... certain fragrances don’t smell amazing when you put your nose to your skin or on paper directly but with Reunion Vanilla the magic happens in your scent bubble, your sillage ! You truly do smell fluffy vanilla however when you smell directly on your skin there is a note that seems to not really match the scent profile and seems a bit off putting which I think is the peach blossom but you don’t smell this in your scent bubble.

OMG...a big, HUGE shout-out and THANK YOU to all my Fragrantica Friends who likened Farmacia SS Annunziata "Reunion Vanilla" perfume as a more aromatic, less viscous, less thick, less oily Mazzolari "Vaniglia," or St Bart Ligne "Vanille West Indies." THANK YOU!! I. AM. GRATEFUL. As an aside, I own and LOVE both Vaniglia and Vanille West Indies. But applying those fragrances on my inner arms and neck left me with moderate "skin burns" from the high content and high ratio of essential oils. etc. Can you imagine? I actually developed a rash, then blistering, then burns on the antecubital fossa of my inner arms, as well as on my neck after liberally applying either fragrance a few days in a row... Reunion Vanilla is all the goodness of Vaniglia and Vanille West Indies but in a less concentrated format. With that said, the opening is identical to the two aforementioned fragrances with luscious vanilla, vanilla orchid, some floral, etc. Reunion Vanille is definitely less thick and less dense that Vaniglia, or VWI. Reunion Vanille performs as a beautiful, lovely, non-complicated, relatively linear, vanilla and vanilla orchid fragrance. Just want to add RV acts as a skin fragrance on my skin; little silage, which is fine. And performance isn't great. Seems like I reapply every 90 minutes. But the perfume is gorgeous. I love it. So happy I located a full 100ml bottle.

Very similar to Vaniglia by Mazzolari but more airy, not as dense and oily/sticky like Vaniglia. If I didn’t already have Vaniglia I would definitely get this. On a side note, this bottle is much prettier than Vaniglias, in pictures at least.

similar to vaniglia and vanille west indies. I like this one best because it actually smells like something. the other two were almost non-existent on my skin. it’s soft & pretty and smells like a powdery slightly sweet vanilla. perfect for when you want a skin-scent style vanilla or something lighter wearing. i don’t smell the accompanying notes as much but i think everything is complimenting each other to be that kind of straight forward vanilla people are looking for. a solid choice!

This is one of the most realistic vanillas. The musk and orchid are the strongest notes after vanilla, but there's definitely some salty note in this too. With this mix the fragrances gives you the idea of some wild bushes of flowers next to a beach. Just lovely and such a good vanilla scent!
