Corn Star

soft gourmand with a clean, slightly airy structure, not heavy syrupy dessert... I had to get used to it but it’s really addictive!! It gets even better after the first hour when the peer note becomes less sharp but still noticeable. The sweet popcorn and marshmallow notes remind me of my youth and the peer/cocunutwater give it some freshness which makes it an all season perfume for me personally. Creme Brulante by Fascent is populair but I find this one more unique: combination of sweet/airy/fresh, but not too sweet and not too fresh. Unique combination of notes, beautiful bottle (with a recycled cap), and good value for money = no brainer.

Corn Star opens with a juicy, sweet pear. As it dries down, it develops a rich sweet cream butter accord that's creamy, smooth, and just slightly savory. I don't really smell marshmallow. I think it's there to keep the fragrance soft and sweet rather than smelling like actual marshmallows. The tonka adds warmth, and the result is a comforting, buttery gourmand that's unlike anything else in my collection.

this scent has a wonderful, light sweetness - carried by a rounded, malty crispiness. it manages to be both fresh and gourmand, the nutty sesame and pear notes working to balance any sickliness. a newly opened box of sugary cereal. i love how airy and delicate it is, so so beautiful <3

Wow this is the most photorealistic pear note Ive ever smelled. It is kind of a sharp pear, like a desert pear. I love it. I dont really get the popcorn or marshmallow. Just a juicy fruity sweet smell. Wish it lasted longer on my skin and the juicy pear note didn't fade so fast.

Its uniqe gourmand. Its juicy pear with coconut water. The popcorn note is in the backround. This is sweet perfume with little bit of marshmallo. Not too heavy. Summer nights for me.

If you love the popcorn magnum (some of the best magnum), this is the perfume version. It's not syrupy, it's just like pop corn, airy and sugary. I love when pop corn scent have that cereal note that gives them a bready quality. It's really well done here. The tonka also works really well, the price makes it a steal, a really good surprise for me. It fits well in Fascent line up, which is quite coherent.

A very creamy & powdery coconut kissed by a savory-esque marshmallow

Corn Star is a solid argument for smelling before blind-buying. Looking at you, impulsive purchaser. Its name suggested caramelised starch, salt caught in butter, and sexy crunchiness. I visualised something akin to that warm smell at the bottom of a popcorn bag where the kernels, oil and paper have transcended mortal space and time. Instead, I get pear. A very clear, glossy pear, too. One sweet, smooth, almost shampoo-clean (nothing photorealistic!), brightened by coconut water. The opening feels like fruit served in a refrigerated glass bowl, airy, pretty and innocent. The corn, meanwhile, has apparently missed its own premiere. Eventually, a popcorn accord does stir beneath it, but quietly. Not the roasted hull, scorched kernel or cinema-butter realism I had imagined; more a faint savoury blur, a soft buttery thickness added to the fruit. Popcorn in parentheses. The sesame contributes a little nutty warmth, though even that feels polished smooth into this beige, lactonic murmur. The marshmallow behaves similarly. Rather than powder, stretch and molten sugar, it reads just as a palatable but ordinary fluffy musk. Think pale sweetness inflated with air, creating that familiar confectionary halo without anything properly sticky or edible at its centre. When it settles, what remains is an impression of pear, acidic coconut water, soft woods and sweet musk, with the faintest savoury smudge at the edges. Corn Star is such a fabulously stupid name that I wanted it to be THAT. Give me toasted cereal dust. Corn silk. Salted butter. The warm cardboard fug of a cinema floor! Instead, it smells like the corn concept was passed through several rounds of market research until only a smooth perfumey essence survived. I am extremely glad I did not order a sample—or blind-buy it, which, regrettably, did cross my mind. Thankfully, my local niche store brought it in and saved me from purchasing a pear-coconut musk in a training bra.

okay.. i hate it i'll give it credit where it's due though, it is very interesting. i can absolutely appreciate what it was trying to do. for me though, it feels like too many different scents are fighting for dominance instead of complimenting each other. every time i thought i was latching onto one note, something else would come barreling in and take its place. i can see why people would find this exciting. it has a very playful, almost chaotic energy to it that makes it feel like a "fun" fragrance. but for me... it's just too much. it ended up giving me a headache, and the longer i wore it the more overwhelmed i felt. this one is a definite miss. i'm glad i experienced it because it is such a unique fragrance, but i have absolutely no desire to smell like this.

Unique and totally addictive is how I would describe this scent. It opens with a burst of pear - lightly sweet and bright. It's instantly inviting. Then, almost immediately, the other notes start to blossom, transforming into an enveloping cloud that's warm, creamy, and incredibly cozy. Before I tried it, I thought the popcorn note was intriguing on paper, but I wasn't sure how it would translate on skin. Not because I expected this to smell like cake or frosting - it doesn't - but because I've noticed that many cosmetics and fragrances that do promise fluffy birthday cake or frosting scents often end up dominated by a buttery popcorn note instead. Rather than smelling airy or whipped, that popcorn accord tends to take over, and I've found that effect pretty off-putting. For that reason, I thought I might automatically not like this. Happy to say that wasn’t the case. Here, the popcorn is beautifully restrained. Instead of stealing the spotlight, it adds a subtle savory nuance that gives the composition depth without disrupting its warm, creamy character. Nothing in this fragrance feels excessive. Every note is beautifully balanced, creating something that feels comforting, unisex, and incredibly wearable. If you enjoy gourmands but find ultra-rich caramel or syrupy dessert fragrances to be a little too much, I think this strikes a really happy medium. It's undeniably delicious without feeling heavy or cloying. As the fragrance continues to dry down, the coconut becomes more noticeable, and it's beautiful. The balance between the creamy, sweet, and subtly savory notes feels effortless. On its own, it’s not overly sweet or juvenile. That said, I can see it layering beautifully with marshmallow or cotton candy fragrances if you want to lean further into its sweet gourmand side. To me, this smells like the most fun carnival you could imagine, where all the best treats are floating through the air at once. I can already tell this is one I'll be reaching for often once fall arrives. This while wearing a soft sweater and taking an autumn stroll with a coffee in hand? Heaven.

I see why people compared cirque du soleil and cheroisa 39 but this is still different you get pear coconut popcorn marshmallow and seassme soo delicious 😋 so unique The girl below said corn pops in milk and yea i definitely smells some of that!! Mainly to me what I get is popcorn a coconut pear floral w popcorn especially in the beginning sounds weird but its nice. It smells like an amusement park w the popcorn the sweet treats being made and the summer weather the sun. Thats what this gives. Its different from anything ive smelled really EDIT: after having this a few weeks the popcorn takes a backseat! Now its a juicy pear refreshing coconut water and marshmallow scent on my scent w touches of sesame seeds and popcorn!!!

A feminine fruity fragrance with a fresh, clean character. The overall impression is centered around pear, supported by a subtle lactonic sweetness that becomes more noticeable as the fragrance develops. It's nice, although not something I would personally wear.

This is a big NO! At first, it smells like sweet canned corn. That it dries down to just ‘another-lactonic- gourmand’ perfume which are thousands and thousands of them out there. I really liked their beet perfume “red flag” but this. 👎🏼

Love , I imagine this being like a Corn Pops cereal drenched in milk . That’s the vibe . Very lactonic sweet and gourmand on my skin, though I’m worried about the little bottle. I need it in extrait version 100 ml please.🩵🥛
