Crème Brûlante

Courtesy of ThePerfumeGuy sample box on YouTube Light weight airy vanilla gourmand instead of a thick syrupy one. Vibes of a sweetened creamy white candle that is cake or macaron scented. There may be a smidge of a flower somewhere not disclosed. I appreciate that it isn't powdery. Why are all almond scents powdery?!? Easy wear that won't offend anyone. Edit: been wearing it more than I thought. Pretty easy grab when I'm feeling the need for gourmand

I think it’s lovely, very affordable. I think the whole line is ment for layering. My personal favourite was Milky Way. It’s an airy gourmand, not a thick and clogging one. It’s very easy to wear. I like the bottle design it’s has a nice little curve where you hold it in your hand and the bottle cap is interesting and really cool to touch.

I received this sample as part of TPG's mystery kit (if you aren't familiar, you need to check them out). It was driving me crazy trying to remember what this smells like and it hit me: it is a niche version of Black Opium. Super pretty.

It has the same lightness as Milky No Way has but this one doesn't click with me. It's lovely but I don't feel it's "me"

A dark and bold vanilla. For gourmand lovers! Sexy, for cold days, very good value.

a slightly basic, honeyed-sweet gourmand. the longevity and depth isn't wonderful, and it comes off a little screechy, but this scent is overall okay.

I'm sure I'm going to have an unpopular opinion today. As with the woman below me, I too am testing this from TPG mystery box for the holidays. Fragrance brands like this I don't trust for some reason. They seem too trendy. Almost like they're trying too hard. These fragrances are supposedly effortlessly chic. Enhancers if you will according to their own brand. And $78! For a 30 mill of course. So in reality it is $234. It smells fine. Just another sweet fragrance that emulates cookies in the oven. If you told me you got this from Sephora I would not second guess you. It's perfect for someone not necessarily into the fragrance industry. Very approachable and very much something you don't think about. I think that's my problem. I have been into fragrances for over 10 years now and there is no way I'm going to purchase something that does not make me think. Either it takes me somewhere or it perplexes me or I simply have great respect for how it was created. True artistry behind it. Like any great piece of work. This is not that. I'm sure it would be great for someone else.
