I Fig You

Talk about a juicy fresh bomb. Idk how these notes turned into this scent but what a SCENT! Love at first sniff, so candy-like without being sweet. Looking at these notes, I thought this would be house-cleaner dominant as a lot of these notes are very herbal, very essential oil/aromatic, downright medicinal in some cases. But these together are delicately woven into a juicy candy, similar to a cough drop but not overwhelming or cloying. Like a lemon cough drop’s much more elevated, luxe, and rich older sister, who’s well traveled and extravagant. This is a great clean scent, but doesn’t lean into the medicinal or house cleaner scent at all (at least to my nose). On the skin, vetiver is dominant for me which I like. vetiver can be too sour but I think this is just the right balance of tangy and sweet. The green tea adds the best delicate garden note to the fig leaf and the citrus and sage are great supporting characters. I really love this and I do really want a full bottle. Not blind buy worthy but still an approachable scent for any canvas.

I am surprised nobody talks about the powdery matcha note, which is listed on their website. Fresh, light but there is matcha. I think its quite nice

My favorite fragrance from this house! The freshest, sweet candied fig notes. Springtime joy-in-a-bottle at an incredible price point.

i really like this one! it completely surprised me because i went into it with zero expectations. to my nose, it smells like freshly brewed green tea. it is a fairly simple scent, but i think that is exactly what makes it so nice. i am not sure i can pick out much beyond that, but that is probably just my own inexperience. i honestly have no idea what a fig is supposed to smell like... what i do get is something fresh, green, and ...clean? i love the tea note, and there is a subtle citrusy brightness that keeps everything feeling light and refreshing. this fragrance makes me feel clean and natural. it is quiet and very easy to wear. not bad, not bad! I might actually pick up a full bottle of this. we'll see where my journey takes me through the rest of fascent's discovery set. :)

Very green, calm, gentle and comforting scent. The green (matcha) tea and the fig leaves work very nicely together. It has just a bit of citrus, but it’s not sour. There’s instead some creaminess, but it’s very delicate and well done. This scent is totally unisex in my opinion. It’s a beautiful option for warm / hot casual / relaxing days :)

As someone who doesn’t love fig but does love cedar and vetiver, I like this. Light and fresh, citrusy and woody, with just a bit of fig to sweeten the fragrance and bring a bit of depth.

Fresh leafy green fig scent with a little sweetness. This is a bright spring and summer day- really wish it lasted longer and was stronger. I'm enjoying the entire Fascent discovery set.

Fig, yes. But also very citrusy, which makes it fresh but also simple and cheapish. As a fig lover, nice but not my favorite.

Nice citrus fig tea.. softer then debaser, and less spicy then fig infusion. Pleasant! But low projection and longevity

I wanted to like this more than I actually did. It opens promisingly enough with bitter citrus zest caught against leafy green fig, sunny and slightly sweet. The citrus doesn’t sparkle so much as illuminate the fig, letting its greener facets come forward before the fruit has a chance to ripen. I was pretty hopeful at this point. Oh, but then it takes a turn. The fig sheds whatever nectar it had and becomes bark instead. The citrus fades into the quite while a distinctly herbal bitterness begins to dominate, like brewing an overgenerous kettle of sencha, tannins dry and astringent. Vetiver quietly reinforces that direction, adding a fibrous, root-like dryness, causing the fragrance to lean far vegetal rather than fruity. If I were to describe it, this scent is more like you're pruning the tree itself, rather than reaping its rewards. It’s not a badly made perfume, but I don't enjoy it much. If you’re after creamy coconut flesh, milky sap or lush purple fruit much like I am, this isn’t that. Expect green bark, bitter tea and warm leaves. It's outdoorsy, botanical, just not my cup of tea because well, I wanted more fig!!

This is a really interesting fragrance. It’s fresh but has an element of sweetness from the fig which I really enjoy. On the opening I actually get a minty note which isn’t listed, which adds a nice freshness as if the scent wasn’t beautifully fresh enough! This would be a great pick for the spring and summer if you are looking for something green and gentle.

Unfortunately I couldn't pick up on any green tea or citrus. To me it just smells of fig leaf and carrot seeds. I can definitely see how someone could enjoy this but it just isn't for me. Works well in the day time, hasn't gotten me any compliments though. Believe I'll be giving this one away :(

A real green fig scent. Not my style but interesting! 100% unisex.

Unfortunately a bit underwhelming, the kind of scent that doesn't leave a strong impression. Safe option for those who like green scents that aren't too outdoorsy.
