Intense Vanilla

A powdery, soft, creamy, persistent, very intense vanilla. A delight for lovers of this note. Super recommended! I love layering with Gelsomino Bianco (also by Cantelli).

So, this is a rather strange one. I'm not sure I would label this "Intense Vanilla" because on my skin, the fragrance is anything but intense, albeit vanilla, tonka, or anything else. The opening is pleasant enough with an ethereal, sheer, veil of pleasant vanilla fragrance. The opening is actually enjoyable, quite promising and very pretty. However, within 30-60 seconds, a rather strong, almost harsh lemon note emerges, which unfortunately overtakes the pleasant vanilla opening accord. Fortunately, the lemon-citrus note dissipates about as quickly as it emerges. Within 5-10 minutes, the perfume lands with pleasant, woody, base notes but also a very sour and kinda unpleasant note. My experience tells me the weak, "sour-ish" note I'm experiencing in drydown is coconut. Gosh, how I DISLIKE coconut in fragrances. Powdery, ethereal, feminine, almost aquatic, slightly lactonic coconut vanilla fragrance. I might be able to like it if it were not for the off-putting coconut note. Will give this some time. Not certain it is for me, not sure it's full bottle worthy. Glad I only purchased a sizable decant.

On my skin this starts a bit masculine, vanilla with a lot of patchouli, lemon and a bit of cinnamon. As it dries down it becomes softer, more vanilla and less patchouli. Lemon stays in the background adding some freshness. It is definitely not a very sweet vanilla, and in the end it is very unisex. I like it 😊

This on my skin is very woody, I get whiff of slight coconut and vanilla however I use it to layer with perfumes that are a little weak cause this brings a pzaz of wood. Not what I expected of "intense vanilla" but I make it work.

Lemon, vanilla, tonka, and strawberry. Not intense. The top is weird, too much going on and something off key, but ride out the first few minutes and the remainder is a soft fruity vanilla.

Not safe for blind buy, this is not a nice vanilla at all. I thought I had finally found the note that I have recently been smelling in fragrance which I refer to as 'hot trash'. Reviewing the notes, it contains nothing that I recognize as smelling foul, however this fragrance does indeed have the trash smell. If anyone knows what that is, please let me know.

The opening is a dry and dank patchouli that is a off putting. A few moments later it gives way to a sugared lemon. Then I get a little bit of the creaminess of the coconut and a hint of the vanilla. To be perfectly honest, after I initially sprayed it on the test strip, I thought I was going to absolutely hate this fragrance. Having to wade through that extremely heavy off putting opening to get to the gourmand notes, it was unpleasant. I will not be purchasing this myself, but if you're into fragrances, that morph from one thing to another, you might enjoy this.

There is something in here that smells extremely sharp, screechy, and alcoholic, which completely ruins the tropical vanilla on top. My guess it's a really cheap patchouli. Almost a scrubber for me.

This has a very strong alcohol ish sort of smell. Not a soft vanilla at all.

I blind bought this ad I hate it because it has BR540 vibes.
