Pistachio Obsession

I got a small sample of this fragrance and, despite not being the biggest gourmand fan out there, I can confidently say I would recommend it to anyone who wants to smell like a high-quality, luxurious dessert. It's a gorgeously balanced blend of pistachio, vanilla, and milky, creamy notes. It's sweet but not cloying, at least in colder weather. It gives this feeling of enjoying something indulgent while sitting in an elegant restaurant/hotel. And it gives a cosy, happy sense of comfort. The only downside for me would be the longevity on skin, although this may just be me!

On my skin this pulls really sharp floral. Maybe this doesn't work on my skin. If I put my nose to it hours later I pick up some milky tonka vanilla, but the scent cloud is overly floral. This doesn't smell really gourmand to me which is nice. This is also a perfect spring pistachio. I'm still looking for the pistachio for me.

I got a sample of this and it's pretty nice. I got all the notes except for milk; this actually smells like a pistachio liqueur to me. I'd pair it with some sort of creamy scented body care or fragrance oil to balance it out, or something lemony.

I tested this one at the Art Niche Expo 2025 in Timisoara. The pistachio is quite strong in the opening notes. I enjoyed it. It's as if Cheirosa 62 and Yum Pistachio Gelato had a baby. The drydown is vanillic and pleasant.

This reminds me of a body lotion by Laura Mercier, Creme de Pistache. Not a bad scent; but been there, done that— about twenty years late to the party.

This fragrance delivers a beautiful harmony of brightness and depth. It opens with a crisp, slightly sweet freshness that immediately catches attention. As it settles, a soft floral heart unfolds, balanced by subtle spices and woods. The dry-down is warm, clean, and comforting — not overpowering, but definitely present. A reliable, elegant scent perfect for everyday wear or quiet evenings.

This scent has a lovely base, fresh lily of the valley, tonka and musk that create an ambiance that makes this fragrance smell like a clean sweet fragrance instead of just a super sweet gourmand. This is a finer more elegant gourmand take on pistachio than Kayali.
