Steamed Rice

true warm fluffy rice. very delicate and cozy. almost buttery rice, but certainly not heavy. wore it in a heatwave. sweet/cute and super slight floral. would make a lovely bedtime scent. comparable to white rice by dannam, which is more complex and has a more pronounced floral aspect. if only this lasted longer 💔

A nearly identical dupe for Diptyque’s L’eau Papier at an insanely affordable price!! I tested L’eau Papier on my skin at the boutique and was very disappointed in the performance for the price, even for a skin scent it was barely detectable. Of course a water-based body mist isn’t going to perform spectacularly either but at the price point of ~$20 vs $190?!? Go off Femmenina. The notes are essentially the exact same, and to my nose I might not even be able to tell the difference, except for the fact that Diptyque’s sesame note is more obvious. Ignore the vanilla note listed here though, I smell no vanilla whatsoever. It’s just a fairly linear musky sesame-rice scent. The packaging may be feminine but like L’eau Papier the scent itself is fairly universal and unisex. Clean, musky, and not cloying. If you’ve smelled those Korean skincare rice scrubs/face washes, it smells very similar to those. (Very) subtle but nice! Highly underrated dupe though, I haven’t heard anyone talk about this. Such a good match I feel it has to be intentional??
