Prima Terra

This was the most unique of the line. Great for warmer weather. Long lasting and like nothing I own. I’d generally steer clear of an earth note—but here it’s intriguing. I sniffed it all day and the next, which is when I knew I needed to buy. Dries down beautifully like fresh scented skin. The earthiness stays as does the citrus. Other freshies in the line (sempre mio and ciao amore) have a much more discernible Italian feel to my nose. Smelling clean and almost like a great soap or lotion.

I find this a nice fragrance, but it isn't the most unique that I have ever smelt. It is a bit threadbare and has no extra "oomph" to it in my personal opinion. I would have liked just a few more notes. The oakmoss combined with the tangerine and rosemary gave a fresh yet aromatic edge and Prima Terra leans masculine, without being overwhelming or smelling like a wood shop. I don't think that this perfume would offend anyone and it can work for many occasions, from spring to fall and day to night. I tried it on my skin in Fendi and it lasted 8 hours on my skin, with a sillage you could smell an arm's length away. It is slightly overpriced for what you get, but it is more worth the money than the other Fendi fragrances and that is why I'd give Prima Terra eau de parfum a 7.3 out of 10. I would buy it as a gift for guys that I know.

Prima Terra is surprisingly enjoyable considering that it's not in the category which i love to wear. First of all citruses are there all the time, secondly there are spices with citruses and thirdly the scent is noticeably green. I definitely put this into the category "traditionally masculine scents" but Prima Terra is not bad at all even on my skin. It's blended in the beautiful way, it's soft and not sharp nor bitter. I have been testing these kind of scents a lot lately and I can say that this is not unique in any kind of way but this is one of the rare in this category which I can wear. The scent is calming and there is a subtle earthiness from Oakmoss but it's definitely not mossy like Oakmoss could be at its best. I don't recognise leathery notes at all but maybe it would perform in the better way during summertime. All in all Prima Terra is a consistent, versatile easy reach scent for everyone who loves spicy, green citruses. There is not so much need to analyse this kind of simple scent more and because it's not up my alley I don't feel comfortable to wear it so many days. So many good scents that Fendi has created in the past and now they start launching new "niche" and very expensive perfumes. They could bring back the wonderful work of art perfumes which Fendi's house has always produced and unfortunately descontinued after. So sad.

Mossy, green, humid soil, bright sky type of scent. Clean, fougere, masculine. Well dressed man. I think this is a good one for men.

Suffocating clean patchouli dirt. Smells like LV Orage, but much worse.
