Body Mist UI

I might be biased with this review, but I love this body mist and I have a lot of fond memories associated with it. It is because of Fiancee UI that I fell in love with lilac notes in perfumes. In 2024, I had the opportunity to live in Japan for half a year as an exchange student. The transfer station in between my dorm and university campus has a multi-level shopping mall embedded within it. As I had time to kill, I went into the shopping mall and decided to look at Loft. Loft is a Japanese store that sells general goods and commodities of all sorts - whatever you can think of, you can probably buy it at a Loft. I happened to be browsing the beauty section of this particular Loft and decided to peruse the perfume section. Admittedly, I didn't purchase it at first, but I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I made a point to go back to Loft a few days later to make my purchase. I liked the smell, the price point and the uniqueness of the product (and these reasons seemed good enough to me). I think that the freshness of the citrus notes combined with the delicate nature of the lilacs perfectly symbolises my experience as an exchange student in Japan - I could temporarily leave all of my problems at home and focus on living life in the present; the world was my oyster and worries about my future could be saved for, well, the future! It only has slightly above average longevity for a body mist, but longevity doesn't matter to me with this fragrance, as the memories associated with it will remain with me for the rest of my life. I'm not usually a backup bottle purchaser, but I make sure to stock up every time I visit Japan to preserve those moments.
