Oh, Darling!

so beautiful and well blended. the clementine really pops in the opening, bringing forward a real nectar/jammy moment which is just gorgeous! the middle and base of this perfume come through all at the same time, and this can pull fairly smoky on some days. it's delicious! sweet thick nectar, bright jasmine, smoky amber, warm patchouli... the rose is only very lightly there and provides a soft floral sweetness. such a wonderful perfume, and long-lasting too - i get a good 8-12 hours of wear out of her!

On first whiff in the store I thought this would be an all time favourite for me. Very easy wearing and wide appeal, sweet but unique female leaning scent at a fantastic price point. Testing it on me, though, I think the honey added an almost sickly sweetness on me, not in a synthetic way but definitely like that fresh honey smell. It's a shame since I'm not a fan of honey, although I have fond memories of honeyjoys so it cancels out some. But I really hope this brand comes out with a perfume I can adore as the price for the quality is unreal. Maybe in spring or autumn the sweet note would be more appealing than in summer.

This is a beautiful, high-quality fragrance. However, I’ve found that this scent is a "skin-only" fragrance for me. On my skin, it’s a perfectly balanced; the warmth allows the Smoke and Myrrh to cut through the honey, creating a beautiful, resinous glow. When sprayed on clothes, the delicate citrus and floral notes (Jasmine/Peony) seem to vanish, leaving behind a Honey and Amber profile that becomes cloyingly sweet and a bit heavy. It loses the smoky, earthy nuance that I adore and turn into a dense, linear sugar. I’ll be strictly using it on my skin or using it as a layering piece to add depth to drier scents.

Kind of pretty, smoke is interesting. Simple, clean. Would be a nice air freshener.
