Irida - Cyclades

I used to stock this brand in my webshop and over the years fell madly in love with it and wear it often. This is the perfect woody-aquatic fragrance. No trace of melon. Smells like the Greek aisles of my imagination—dry rocks, woody shrubs, salty ocean breeze. It’s fresh, unisex and an easy daily reach. I get a lot of myrrh and papyrus, which give the fragrance a sharp dryness. Smells really natural. Lasts all day with a couple sprays and gives a gentle aura. This is such a conscientious and sustainable brand too, from the materials to the packaging—love that!

Finally Fragrantica added this line! A gorgeous, fresh, scent with slightly marine opening, citruses and beautiful sunny vibe. Unisex, must-have fragrance for man for summer. A little bit cologne-like but much better. Love it. Super pleasent

A minimalist airy composition. Like for all the line it's pleasant but more like a room fragrance or a Diptyque candle around one main note. This type of perfume becomes boring too quickly because of its lack of olfactory pyramid and evolution, it just slowly decreases in intensity to become a skin perfume after 30min. Anyway it smells "natural" like some good organic materials. This applies to all perfumes of this brand...for me the best ones are the patchouli and the tuberose.

I'm sorry to say, but many of listed notes are not existing on my skin. If you look at the pyramid - wow! True pleasure, but on my skin there is no any signs of: rose, violet, tonka, amber and sandalwood. In a short Irida - Cyclades on my skin is VERY dry, herbal green scent with strictly mature profile. Nothing modern, trendy or appealing in a fashion way. The key notes on me are: Mastic or Lentisque and dry mix of green-bitter herbs. I'm sorry, but this is completely unpleasant on my skin. Like you're opening old box with dry herbs or some bitter tea-bags. And also, I sense some dusty and animalic musky notes that I don't like at all. For me, Irida - Cyclades Fiilit is too strange and I can't accept it as a perfume for wearing among people. It's too dusty, mature, dry, herbal-green in a very natural and literal way. My advice - please test it before buy, because the pyramid could mislead you.

Completely agree with @Deetron description of the scent, but I did not find it unpleasant rather than meh.

Oh Irida, how the ghost of you clings...and clings...and clings! I have no problem with this scent disappearing on my skin. I've gotten strong whiffs of it 24 hours and more after one application. A lot of the Fiilit perfumes have an "old apothecary shop" scent to them. Irida does to some extent, although the sunny citrus mitigates it a lot. I love these herbal notes, although I can see how they might not be to everyone's taste. I don't like sharp scents, and this is gentle on my nose, as are most of the Fiilit perfumes. The citrus notes perk it up and give Irida a nice vibrancy.

Irida is a beautiful,airy scent with low sillage and very poor lasting power. Mastique and citrus are the main notes I detect. It is like a dreamy landscape that you catch a glimpse of through a train window and then it is gone and remains just a memory. These observations are for a sample dabbed on. Maybe in a spray bottle it would last longer.
