Joli Coeur - La Reunion

Smells like the perfume I made myself with some perfumer’s alcohol and scrapings from vanilla beans from the grocery store. It’s a fantastic-smelling perfume if you love plain sweet vanilla. It brings to mind Vanilla 28 by Kayali, especially that burn of alcohol when you spray it, but that could just be whatever alcohol they use. But this is better! I don’t detect the almond or cacao in any way. IMO this is more like white sugar and vanilla. Not heavy or dense, not airy or light either. I did notice the atomizer is having issues spraying, idk if it has to do with any ingredients or if it’s the atomizer. But I do have a different fragrance in the same bottle and it’s spraying just fine so that may say something. Aside from the smell of white sugar and vanilla bean, it does seem there’s a booziness about this? Not sure from where, but it’s a small part, it’s great.

I struggle with Jolie Coeur because I love the way it smells but the performance on me, clothes and skin, is terrible even with overspraying. There's a new fragrance on the market and it's called Dulce Fundamentum. On the bottom of the bottle it says www.momdolumi.com so maybe Mondolumi is the name of the brand? Hopefully Fragrantica adds it to the database. It's sold at Scent Split and at Amyris Essence. Anyway, it smells just like Jolie Coeur but it's stronger. So if you love Fiilit Jolie Coeur but it's not strong enough for you, check out Dulce Fundamentum. It's a gorgeous thick chocolate frag with elements of Bianco Latte and it has great longevity, projection and sillage. I love it!! Dulce also has elements of Sulmona Essenza Cubano. Fragrantica, can you please add it to your database? Ty!

I'm not sure what's going on here. Maybe I'm noseblind? I get a faint blast of the opening of Spiriteuse Double Vanille (that boozy vanilla) and then poof, it's gone. I sprayed heavily too, on my clothes. I wanted to like this but I can't smell it. 🤔

This perfume is for gourmand lovers. I can smell vanilla and tonka with a touch of caramel. Very warm, sweet and cocooning, more for woman to my opinion. The sillage and longevity are excellent. Very good value for the quality. 95% of natural origin, vegan, made in France. If you like vanilla or gourmand scent, you need to try! 8/10

This is so delicious! I wanna bite my hand. It’s so good smells like baked goods with vanilla frosting, caramel drizzle and dusted cacao powder. 10/10. Opens up a very alcoholic then 5mins later, just Delicious. No booze in this! Delicious 🤤

EDIT: ended up giving the sampler to a friend, who also loved the scent, but reported a couple hours later that it also didn't last on her at all :( - I've only received my 1,5ml sampler yesterday, so these are still first impression. I'll come back to this review once I've finished my sampler. It feels very weak to me - just now I sprayed it on myself three times, and I cant really smell it, even with my nose to my wrist. Right after spraying there is a tiny bit of booziness, in a pleasant way; then it becomes vanilla with juuuuust a hint of chocolate. It's pretty! I'd love it if it didn't just disappear on me. I use Adopt's Vanille Bourbon on the regular, which is much cheaper, but smells almost the same while having much better projection and longevity. I don't have a refined nose so maybe there's some nuance I'm missing, but if you like Joli Coeur but wish it was a SUGAR VANILLA BLAST ATTACK, try that one.

It's very gourmand and I like it, but for some reason I don't reach for this perfume at all :(, something is in this perfume that won't allow me to enjoy it to the fullest, maybe caramel in combination with cacao, maybe something else, but it's a little bit screechy, a tiny bit. And it sits so close to the skin that the moment that screechiness goes away, I stop hearing the fragrance at all. I'd choose Vicious Cacao each tome for Cacao + Caramel fragrance (VC has rum and a hint of raspberry as well, and it blended so much better.)

This smells like you combined Kayla Vanilla 28 with lots of cocoa, super yummy and delicious but not too food in case you don't like that. It smells a bit boozy too, but very little. It's perfect if you are looking for a vanilla centered perfume. Performance is average, it didn't wow me but maybe it performs better in colder weather.
