Fila for Men

A worthwhile sweet fragrance, which I do not find too cloying. I was expecting a sports scent when I bought it, but it is closer to a barbershop fragrance. The combination of lavender, tonka and geranium ensure that as it evolves it becomes powdery in a subtle way. For the price it sells for it is good value.

Surprisingly decent for an unheralded cheapie. Not a typical body spray/sport drone like I expected, but much more an old-timey barbershop tonka/lavender/cedar composition, with a nice, sharp bergamot intro and some sweet florals (geranium?) in the heart. Good projection and longevity as well.

This is a dirt cheap scent you can easily pick up for $10 at Ross or Marshalls. 1) Rating and prominent notes 2) How I would wear it 3) How it makes me feel 1. It's a 5.1/10. Decent. In my opinion, not overwhelmingly cloying but it is sweet. Honestly, this is not bad, but not amazing. It dries out quickly but lasts long on skin depending on how much you spray. I get the tonka and the lavender. The bergamot is there in the opening and its a slightly harsh opening, I get some alcohol. 2. You can wear this to the gym or just for fun. I mean just for fun, not for dates.That's just me though because it does not inspire me to want wear it on a date. Wouldn't wear it for me personally, makes a great car or fabric freshener, or room spray. 3. I guess it can be comforting, but not challenging or inspiring. It's just plain and simple juice. Any man of any age can wear it if they choose to, but I honestly don't see this as anyone's first fragrance pick even though its cheap.

Got a 250 ml for $8. The fragrance could literally smell like dog asshole and I wouldn’t complain. I hardly wear it, just use it as an air freshener. Or spray it into my diffuser. But it’s a pleasant smell, it would be good for a gym scent. I’m not sure why fragrantica doesn’t have a “powdery” nuance listed, I just get too much “fresh spicy” out of this. But for how cheap I got it, it was a no brainer. Would I pay over $20 for this? Absolutely not. I have many cheapies that are far better. But like I said for the price, it’s quite good.

A very nice fresh and clean EdT suitable for most occasions. I get around 7-8hrs with 3-4 sprays and good projection for about 3-4hrs. I agree with @instantjim, to me it is closer to a barbershop fragrance than a sports scent. I think the $10-$15 you pay at one of the discount stores for a 3.4oz bottle of FILA is well worth it.

Listen...this is good stuff for about 2hrs then its a great powdery skin scent. $10 bucks TJ MAXX what a steal.. Longevity 5 Scent 6 Sillage 6

Tested in store. Interesting but has a synthetic and plastic-like smell underlying the bitterness. The fragrance reminds me a lot of Dunhill Desire Black which I love. Although most notes are different, they share black pepper, cedar and vetiver notes. Dunhill Desire Black is far superior so go for that if you like the style of this fragrance.

If people around you are not following the 6 foot social distancing rule during covid-19... this cologne is your solution! Enough said.

This was a blind buy at Ross for like $12. It is overly sweet and cloying. Not too shabby as a car freshener though :-/

I had commented on perhaps missing items in the note description. What I mean is there seems to be a very wholesome powdery-ness and slight sweetness. Side Rant: Powdery and grandma-ish always get intertwined. Powdery can be so nice. Francis Bianchi Sticky Fingers comes to mind. I totally dig her. Say no more. Barborshop grandpa is another charmer. Great way to clear a room. My grandma did not smell powdery. She smelled nice. She used Nivea cream and some really good fragrances based on her refined taste and real class. People raved about her flawless non-wrinkled skin and when I kissed her on the cheek it was so soft it was unbelievable. Very beautiful, and well put together. Today's Nivea has Marigold in it and I just love it. I use Nivea Sensitive Body Wash for men and Nivea Sensitive post shave balm (the very best--wet shavers, and I own so many) Should you buy Fila for Men? Heck, should you try Hibiscus iced tea? Well yeah, it is life's joys--for you. The price is low so have fun with it. I really like it alot. It has a kind of innocent and fun spirit. It is not sniffing the devils balls, nor is it the smartest person in the room, nor is it better sniffing/living through science. No magnified perversion here. Also, it is not like having something that few people have. . . . and frankly the world doesn't give a crap. Oops, sorry. Well. . . maybe you like those things for yourself. Yep. OK. I will shut up now--not just yet. FILA for men is just nice smelling . That's it. There is nothing to overthink here. Sidelined Again, Darn: On the FILA: it is from 2016 and just takes a straight-on approach to pleasant. My gosh, you can hardly go wrong on a blind buy and it really is fun and very nice. Price is incredible. This fragrance fades fast, is inexpensive yet somehow delightful. It is a wonderful make-out and now it is over.

Such hate on this magical powdery concoction I don't get it. I've gotten more compliments from younger to older woman then any of my more niche expensive fragrances. Go get you a bottle at Marshall's or the body spray just go light a little goes a long way. ✌ and ❤ from the (914)

The negative comments about this scent leave me mystified. Lot's of positive comments from wearing this scent. There is a later bottle of Fila For Men in a white bottle, which I don't think as much of. I wonder if some people are commenting about this bottle instead. Regards.

I got it for 10 bucks at Burlingtons. Its disgusting. Its so bad im at a loss for words. Im easy to please too... But hey it was only 10 bucks.
