Fila Red

For some reason, three samples of Fila Red were sent with an Amazon order for one of my perfumes today. After seeing the LOW ratings of the five people who voted on this fragrance before me, my husband was curious to see what all the fuss was about. After a shower, he applied one spray of one of his favorite (luxury) fragrances to the back of one hand, and one spray of Fila Red to the back of the other hand. Without telling me his intentions, he had me sniff the dry down from one of his favorite bottles first, and the dry down from Fila Red second. I told him they both smelled quite nice, but different. I said I preferred the first one, but also enjoyed the second one, which had a bergamot note reminiscent of Guerlain Calabrian Bergamot. Hearing that I didn't hate the Fila Red, he agreed, saying, "I know! Right?!" So we don't understand the other written review before ours and the five low votes. What gives? Our theory is that some fragheads love to hate on affordable fragrances. But we all know some cheapies are enjoyable to wear. This is just a first impression, but at a minimum, my husband plans to use the three free samples. If he buys a bottle, I'll update the review. 🦋🧡🦋

Very watered down basic mens sport scent. It’s a citrus freshie that has been done a million times. This one is a little screechy.
