I'm not usually a fan of aquatics. Even when I like them on a test strip, or on someone else, they just seem to turn to melon hell on my skin. I'm really glad I tried this. It's a very literal scent. A bit sweeter than I expected, but not in a way that breaks the realism too much. I wish I could vote for ozone as a note here because it's extremely ozonic, with some seaweed mixed in. I read a review before buying the sample that said the top note has an almost fishy quality to it (do not be alarmed), and I agree. It's really nice though! It's watery and fresh, not washed-up and decaying. It's coming from the ambergris and I'm sure it's the note that makes this fragrance feel so real and so transporting. I don't want to scare people away with fish, it really behaves itself and I think is just rounding out the oceanic atmosphere. It's very wearable.

This is a really great oceanic fragrance. No frills whatsoever -- just a simple, deeeeeeep inhale of the salty air while wading into the sea on a sunny day. Bright and light while also naturalistic. If you're hoping for a commercialized abstract interpretation of an ocean scent with citrus, coconut, or aldehydes, this ain't it. I wore NOTGET to the beach on a clear day and found, to my delight, that the scent was very true to nature. This perfume is also linear, which makes it perfect for layering. PS: I have been on a "realistic marine" perfume sampling kick lately and this is the only one that my dog feverishly sniffed for an extended period of time. He approves!

Gorgeous wet fresh cucumber-y sweat. First time wearing it lasted for 2 full days. Can't wait to try in the summer.

Perfect summer scent, in my opinion. Like other users have pointed out, the notes in this should be taken very, very literally. If other aquatic scents are a sunny, sandy beach in the heat of day, NOTGET is a foggy, pebble beach at dusk. The ambergris is the real star of this scent for me; this smells like the sweaty, salty skin of a summer fling or how it feels to put a cold washrag on a sunburn. I put this on in my elbow crease so that I could do a wear test and see how it projected. My brother's cat jumped up and started sniffing where I applied really intensely, until he bit me. Maybe it does have a fishy note that I don't pick up on...

Wow what you see (in the notes) is what you get here. Definitely get the salty sea water. This is something I would love to wear on a bright summer day when I'm going to the beach or hanging out somewhere near the oceanside. I also think this is perfectly unisex. It doesn't lean in one direction or the other to me. This is just fresh ocean-y beach vibe with no citrus or coconut notes (which is a nice change).

This smells like someone condensed a massive bank of gray seaside fog into a salty little soap bar. Unfortunately I also found it bizarrely cloying and nauseating and I ended up washing it off. I might just have a disagreement with the prominent ambergris though.

exchanging saliva with someone who just applied chapstick after eating a pack of sea salt flavored roasted seaweed. edit: sprayed this on a friend at the beach who was wearing sunscreen and it read as sweet iced tea... woah...

It is marine, but I might be walking a couple blocks away from the water, too far for the brine to carry. Clean. There's almost a floral dimension to this. Ozone. Smells more how the waves sound, than The Sound, to me.
