Nebbia Fitta Extrait de Parfum

This is a strong perfume and I would imagine in the opening it can smell offensive to some, to even a lot of people. It is certainly very unique, the only other perfumes that have any resemblance to it (in my knowledge) are FS's work as well. It starts off very sharp and chemical-y. I would describe the opening as wet earth, but instead of water the earth is moistened with ethanol. The sort you use to disinfect medical devices. As time passes projection calms down and the perfume becomes a little bit softer, but it still has this sharp quality to it, "enhanced" by something that to me feels like pepper or chili. Maybe it is the "rust" of the fragrance description? Or even the patchouli? This burning peppery note is a strange contrast to the drydown, which even has some rather soft aquatic qualities to it. I can find some more pleasant fresh forest-y notes here as well, but I would only recommend this perfume for people who like ultra niche fragrances or Sorcinelli's style in general. And I think he has some way better creations, anyway. Although I didn't like this fragrance, I do appreciate the art and I'd still rather wear this than BR540, so. I like how surprising and unconventional the fragrance pyramid is.

Tried really hard to find one of these silver 'alien' blob pieces of Sorcinelli that I liked because i think the bottles are SO cool and this was the best out of all of them (made the mistake of purchasing Vento Forte on one sniff and the ozone became headache inducing after 1hr). This one is the most wearable/acceptable but it is still bizarre. It has an chemical ozone airiness still but so far it isn't anywhere as harsh as VF. It just smells like as the commenter below said, soil but soaked in a diluted ethanol-esque liquid chemical. It isn't ethanol exactly, because its softened slightly with what I feel like is musk but must be the amber. These just smell like some Lovecraftian interpretation of what nature smells like according to an alien but only made with watery ultra-synthetic chemicals. Ugh, I may get 1 or 2 more samples but I think i am going to have to give up on finding one that I can tolerate enough to own/enjoy wearing ☹️
