Organ #3

I really like this one. I'm an amateur, beginner fragrance enthusiast so take my words with a grain of salt. It's a really well balanced floral-animalic fragrance. I get the thyme straight away, it gives it a nice, kind of dry, peppery facet. Then I get the civet and jasmin combo that for my nose play simultanously, very nicely balancing the overripe floral and a little stinky, sensual animalic tone. There is a hint of grapefriut at the beginning, it lifts the scent up a little with a crisp, slightly bitter and sour freshness, but it's there just enough for the perfume to not feel cloynig and too overpowering. The drydown is a comforting, leathery, woody, almost creamy skin scent, feels almost cozy. I mean I know I need to train my nose a bit more to appreciate the different facets of many fragrances, but even for an untrained person I still can notice the evolution and complexity of this fascinating fragrance. I've got a sample of this creation with 4 others as a freebie with another full bottle purchase, but this one stood out among the others (megamare and viride by orto parisi, tilia by marc antoine barrois and ganja by cdg). Right now, after testing it for 2 days (once in hot weather and once on a moderately chilly day) I'm seriously considering getting a full bottle. Definitely for people enjoying more unusual scents (my bf said it straight up STINKS in the beginning) but absolutely wearable, maybe not in super hot weather, but for moderate and cold days or chilly nights it's a great choice. Really love this one, it balances the stink with delightful wearability.
