panna-sotto!

Blind bought this one, as all my Filippos perfumes and didnt disappoint. Totally different from the dark vibes of past XSE line. This one still has a little tone of what i feel like incense, but you defenitely smell chocolate and lemon in the background, plus is more wearable than Quick and Coffee that is for sure. Its not super sweet as it remains a bit incensy or whatever it is, but with touches of ice cream.

Panna sotto comes from the concept and memory of Filippo having ice cream cones with the cone being filled underneath by fluffy whipped cream ! ( Very common here in italy when we were kids in a different era ) She's sweet and flowery , you can distinguish exactly all the notes. Def edible gourmand, but with the clear Sorcinelly DNA twist. It is very playfully sweet and ment to be so, with a hint of airiness contrasting the warmth and depth of cocoa hazelnut and honey. Delicious and sexy , def feminine and provocative. It screams " EAT ME" as you wear it, makes my mouth water . When all of that comes down, the curtain of the theater opens, and behind those thick red velvet infinite drapes, you view so much more. For some reason i smell jasmine that elevates the complexity, hugging that black currant note in a lesbian sweet love affair. Yes, the vanilla is "plasticky" and in the best way possible, also waxy in a way, and it's perfect here. Feminine, creamy, fruity, gourmand, but absolutely elevated to a passionate cheeky sensual kiss. Quite aphrodisiac, if you ask me !! 10/10 30 min after wear, it stay complex with a hint of mineral metallic on me, and less sugary sweet , so i love the evolution !

Smelled this at Dragonfly in Krakow. The salesperson showed it to me as having been released just the day before and said it smelled of a gelato shop. I got more sorbet than gelato, and reading the notes I can see there are prominent sorbet and fruit notes. There was something a little clashing and off about it to me (almost plasticy) but it clicked with my husband and he was smelling gelato and waffle cone.

It's 2026, ...and I see the fuzzy-black, papal-alien, burn-victim prepuce has returned! Cable-tie jutting out and everything. ...and this time it seems fully edible (gourmand). A (gelato) cone filled with (whipped) cream). (wink, wink) I get it. By the way, this one is currently misfiled on the Sorcinelli page. It should go with the other Collections X SÉ.

The bottle of this new release is definitely provocative 😏 However, the fragrance notes really intrigued me, and since I had no chance to smell it before buying, I decided to order it blindly. Hopefully we’ll get along 🤞🏻 Once I receive the bottle, I’ll update my review of the fragrance.
