Vento Forte Extrait de Parfum

Muddy, watery, and airy, with that unmistakable ozonic quality. It carries the scent of rain puddles. I imagine wearing it while the storm patters against the windows, curled up in bed with a book, the air heavy with freshness and comfort. Sounds like a most wonderful experience... That said, the perfume itself was inspired by the dramatic moment in the Bible when the Israelites stood trapped between pharaoh’s army and the Red Sea, and God pushed the waters back by a strong wind, dividing the sea. It is meant to embody that divine force, the urgency of escape and the relentlessness of pursuit. And yet, I find myself giving it a different role, a perfect perfume to wear quietly within four walls, at home, for myself alone.

I have registered the account on fragrantica just to review this fragrance. Actually never intended as I am usually too lazy to do so. It smells like my uncle and I am not joking. It smells like a man in mid 40s that smokes cigarettes a dozen per day with some light aftershave/cologne on. That is amazing. For me its like 9/10 as I was looking for perfect cigarette smoke scent and so far is the best one on market, the most realistic that I smelled in my life. I have 12-15 niche fragrances and many smoke ones: akro, fellipo, imaginary authors and etc.

I absolutely love it ! First I have bought a tester and then a full bottle. It's the most "rain" smell parfume I have ever tried. But it's also very strong and ozony. First very strong note is a moss after half an hour it's so fresh and ozony as the rain has passed. For some reason it smells salty on my husband's skin. I recommend first trying because it has a character and it's strong at the beginning.

One of my favourites among the newly released FSs. I don’t know if I would wear it, but I can’t stop smelling it : it’s a breathe of nostalgia, of playing as child outside after it rained.

Smells like dark wet molded basement

i was a bit disappointed with this one. calone is one of my favorite RMs but i feel like the IBQ and mud accord just completely obliterate everything else and you smell like an earthworm

Oh my. I spritzed one decanter spray to the inside of my left arm. A moment later I had to sign on to Fragrantica to read what others had to say on that opening note. That opening note veers far from conventional beauty. Smelling it is like stepping into a storm, and not just any storm, but one that’s barreling through the garden section of an Ace Hardware Store in the States. It's pungent with a green almost chemical-laced freshness that evokes lawn fertilizer or wet grass soaked in nitrates. It’s not the clean-cut green of mowed lawns which I dearly love, but something rawer, more artificial. Honestly, it's like the scent left behind when you tear open a bag of commercial turf-builder. Thankfully the opening note is beginning to pass. This may be the perfect fragrance for the connoisseur who finds poetry in Scotts Turf Builder and photosynthesis. I don't know what to think. Particularly after reading the prior reviews below which lead me to believe I may be having a mini-stroke. Smoke? Leather? Real grass? Aquatic? Perhaps I should get tested for COVID-19. A few hours have passed and it’s settling into a skin scent. It’s linear to me and continues to smell like stacked water hoses a few feet away from the Scott’s Turf Builder aisle. Let’s be honest here, Alessandro Gualtieri himself would not go anywhere near this. Nitrates?

Purchased on one sniff because it opened with this awesome 'lake by a mountain before the sky breaks' scent but did not notice the ozone until it was screaming from my arm and planted a migraine deep into my brain and now that I am aware of what Ozone is in perfume, like marine/aquatics notes, I am repulsed. Had to immediately sell it after wearing it on my skin only once. I have since smelt the others in this 'alien' blob line and as much as I adore the bottles I cannot wear any of these. The synthetic chemical ozone or marine in all of these is just so the opposite of what I enjoy in a perfume (which is photorealistic but in a mossy/soily natural way). This is some lovecraftian Alien interpretation of what nature smells like but only made with very synthetic chemicals

A dirty Wind, with mud, a bit of leather. Still acquatic, not marine, just acquatic. A bit sour, a bit earthy and mossy. A must try first.

Whoa smells like i've been dead for 40 years. love it.
