Smells like your fingers after smoking cigarettes

First sniff...wow fresh soil. Then the Cade oil/Cypriol combination kicks in with a smoky earthy tinge. The stone note fits well with the smoky earthiness. The ozone notes flatten out the bite and bitterness of the Cade and Cypriol. Even the guaiac note is smoky. Compared to Violin Basse 16 the smoke is not cigarette but is more like burnt wood. Just like some masterpiece paintings this is something I can appreciate but nothing I want to hang on my wall.

Vento Impetuoso truly smells like a particular elderly relative coming in for a hug and enveloping you in an embrace. This relative is a heavy smoker and has smoked countless cigarettes for over 50 years in the particular jacket they’re wearing. Smoke has deeply permeated the fibers of the garment, but this sweet relative has gone nose blind to the scent and no one has the heart to tell them. At this point, the scent of stale cigarette smoke clinging to old fabric has become their signature; it is objectively unpleasant, but you only see them for big holiday get-togethers, so the scent is tolerable and even triggers fond feelings. That being said, can they release you from this hug already? My man Filippo Sorcinelli really knows how to keep me on my toes. What a freaky perfumer in the best way. I cannot imagine wearing this aside from using it to get into character for a costume.

This perfume is a tire fire in a bottle, and I mean that as both a warning and a weird compliment. First spray, I may have gagged - like I’d stumbled into a burning warehouse. I scrubbed with dish soap, fearing I’d bought Secretions Magnifiques’ evil twin, but it clung like a ghost. Hours later.. there’s something magnetic in the ashes, a daring warmth that keeps my nose glued to my wrist, chasing its strange, haunting beauty. It’s got Imaginary Authors’ City on Fire vibes—charred, bold, unapologetic. Wear it, and you’ll turn heads, probably for the wrong reasons; it’s not a scent for the faint-hearted. I’m not sure I’m brave enough to sport it in public, but this vial’s staying on my shelf, a dark little relic I’ll revisit when I crave something raw. It’s not love, but it’s fascination, and that’s enough to keep it around.

Opens STRONG with the cade, with an ozonic and styrax support, but quite readily you can make out the stone accord. The birch here is rather tame, as is the guaiac wood—so far, it supports the stone-forward accord. The stone accord has a faint woodsy, even more faint spicy/smoky bias (cypriol), and this facet is here to stay. Unfortunately, this kind of gives off grandma vibes, and honestly could have used an aquatic facet here, or made the ozone not a top note, but I digress. Certainly nothing like I’ve smelled before, but not really my forte here.

The first smell that came to my mind after application was rotten banana. A minute later it evolved into generic rotten vegetables. A few minutes in you'd explore a tire burning factory that would develop into the smell of the clothes of a chainsmoker. My girlfriend literally asked me to leave the room. After the top and heart phase it calms down into a rather interesting metallic smell. You can find the stone and the cypriol. If I could skip the devastating carnage that it offers in the first hour I'd say it's a truly unique interesting fragrance.

This smells like a smoker's jacket and strong mint toothpaste that makes your mouth feel like its burning.

Opens with a burst of cigarette smoke seeped in hoodies and other clothes, it really gives dirty and almost burning feel. Burning and dirty nature stays whole time while Vetiver comes through later, I like it.

Quite unique, sour balsamic, still very ozonic, woody, i can detect the birch, i also feel some smoke
