Floral Sensuel

What a lovely surprise : it smells like a musky Tocade - Rochas. I immediately loved it, it's like a sunny sweet. Perfect for young women. Correct lasting power.

I just noticed these scents at a chemist and wanted to try. They are light and interesting, not too your face. The sillage is close to the skin. This Floral Sensuel smells exactly like a tamed version of Guerlain L'Instant! White flowers and an ambery base. Not bad!

Filles des Iles is one of the rare, inexpensive perfume brands stocked at Kit Cosmetics across Australia. I have only recently been introduced to this brand, and so far I have been impressed. Floral Sensuel is not a floral at all. It strikes me as being more of a sweet oriental. Some may even consider it a gourmand. It smells predominantly of juicy orange, sugary vanilla and syrupy amber. Despite its sweetness, I find Floral Sensuel really easy to wear and enjoy. It would smell spectacular on a cold Winter's day. The more I smell it on my skin, the more I am reminded of the scent of a Jaffa Cake. Really delicious. I can't believe how well priced this brand is. This is one of those hidden gems that are just waiting to be found. Floral Sensuel smells like quality and also lasts an incredible length of time on the skin. I'm glad that I ventured to the back of the store and found the Filles des Iles display. Unfortunately many Australians and even people overseas are unaware of this brand's existence. I would rather spend my twenty odd dollars on a fragrance of this calibre, than any other drugstore brand. I highly recommend.
