Moss Collector

ooh I hate saying this because I love this House sooo much but I hated this one :(. I usually LOVEEEE mossy and forestry smells, but this one made me want to throw up and made me so sick. It hurts saying this but its smells like eating moss and a whole ass tree. raw. Like going to a forest, and munching the moss, and munching on every part of the tree, to the leaves, to the wood, the moss growing on it, all of it. I know because I have before when I was a kid... so like... yeah. The dry down a few hours and more later does make it smell a good bit better, but I just cant deal with it for the first few. This doesn't stop me from recommending it, because honestly, I can truly see someone enjoying this. Just not me though. Edit: unfornatly again my friends also agree and not as much as a visceral reaction, it made one feel dizzy, and the other just didnt enjoy it.

It’s kind of funny how I agree with the description in the review below, but actually adore this fragrance, which I find no more overwhelming or dizzying than a walk in cool damp woods, steaming in the sun of early spring. This is one of the only fragrances I’ve encountered which somehow smells both entirely natural—is evocative of actual time spent wandering around in nature—and masterfully composed. I can see how one might find the initial blast of pepper off-putting, but it doesn’t linger long. Mossy, fir-ry heaven in a bottle.
