Fischersund No. 8

This is an intensely green scent, layered with all sorts of plants. There's fleshy crushed stems underfoot as you push past conifer and citrus notes. It is a scent of wandering and maybe having a piece of pastry amid it all. Yes, just barely, there is a little bit of sweet cake essence, as hard as it is to find under all the greenery. It is bright and clean and reminiscent of early summer. The tiny floral notes are not overly feminine, feeling like they blend into the greenery. The longevity of this one is nice, I put it on last evening and can still smell the vestiges of it in the afternoon. I find it easy to wear in work settings and very cheery on cold days (although I don't find it to be a particularly wintery scent lol).

Surprised by this based on notes. I get the pine tar (without the asphalt) vibe that all the cold weather Fischersund seem to give me. A bit lighter and fruitier but still rich and unctuous and long lasting and statement making. Very green. Well liked by others. I’d wear this on all but the warmest spring and summer days.

Just magical. So natural, balanced, green, pleasant. Stems, fresh air and just the right amount of sweetness. Spray is more animated, while oil version has better longetivity.

Purchased on 29 March as a 30th birthday present to me. Part of the LANGDEGI 'light' discovery set. 28 June 2025 - (evening, slept most of the day after a long week, warm both outside and inside and I've turned on the AC an hour ago, ate some food about 30 min ago but wasn't too strong, finished by period a few days ago at least, showered yesterday before I went to sleep. My skin itself today smells clean and a little sweet - no salt or sour) - first spray - definitely getting lots of rhubarb, though it does sweeten down after a minute - definitely getting bits of orange (both fruit and peel) and honey as part of the sweetness. - maaaaaybe getting a little of the mineral notes, but not sure - honestly not getting that much (and it's an eau du perfume) - wondering if my nose has gone a little since it's been a while since I've smelled things and I just need to work the muscle again - really cute story on the website - https://www.fischersund.com/products/fischer-no-8-fragrance. I would actually love to make one that reminds me of summer's at my grandmother's in Russia (raspberry plant (so leaves and bark, as well as fruit), soil, warm sun, not sure what else lol) - btw does not give 'perfume' (unlike a Dolce and Gabanna perfume I sprayed after this) - maybe there is less alcohol in the Fischersund perfumes? (which I really appreciate and love btw. I think alcohol irritates my skin and nostrils, even if it's only there for a few seconds) - at least 5 min in and it's a very sweet (as in cute, childhood memory) light scent. Not sure why everyone else get's such a green opening and/or scent, but that is very much in the background for me. - definitely more for warmer days. I need to try this again later, but definitely in the running for days that Debaser by D&S is not it. - definitely one of those scents that is a memory encapsulated, though not mine (like the one from Diptique re Vietnam and ocean and white flowers) - honestly not really getting 'pine', but I'm not not getting pine. Like it's definitely not grass, nor is it seaweed or anything, so it might be pine, but it's so subtle that I can't quite tell. (not in a bad way though!!) Definitely need to retry later. - Maybe like 20 min later? and you know what? Someone mentioned the dry down gives lemon curd, and while I initially disagreed, I can actually see that. It has a bit of tart creaminess that is reminiscent of that, though I'd say it's more orange peel and like it was being baked along with a rhubarb pie as that is definitely still there a bit. - it doesn't give trad wife, nor cottage core (at least not the way I see it), not bakery. It's more memory (than theme), sweet and loving, light and pleasant.

Starts out very green! Then mellows to a soft, lemon, sweet and wood. Very wearable.
