Manhattan Cherry

This is All That to me. Incredibly sexy! My 1.5mL tester brought me very far. It's a very sweet and dark cherry drenched in spice and booze. The spices drift in and out throughout the wear and the tobacco in the drydown makes this a home run. As a side note it's a relief to have a cherry that doesn't smell like cough syrup.

The brief: Instagram cool girl, cherry cola, Cretan red and worn leather. This is a warm amber fragrance that’s olfactory cherry immediately pops upon first blush, evening out to vanilla bourbon, ginger, tobacco. Boozy, sexy.

I (a woman) wore this one out during a big night out with my friends and kept getting whiffs of it. I kept thinking to myself "There's this guy that smells really good here...I wonder what he's wearing?", but it was just me all along. I was the mystery man. I think that this is the perfect fragrance to wear to a retro/jazz bar in the nighttime. A boozy and spicy scent with whispers of cherry. I'd invest in a full bottle if it weren't for the fact that I barely leave the house. Maybe that should change...

Ordered some samples of this as it seemed intriguing. It’s a very realistic bourbon cocktail scent. I don’t get loads of maraschino cherry (which initially attracted me) but it wafts in and out, appearing and vanishing like a cherry ghost - or like a cocktail garnish. The power note here is bourbon, which takes on a brandy quality with the cinnamon and vanilla plus that hint of orange peel. The tobacco is subtle but present, evoking a trace of cigarette smoke on the lips after a boozy cocktail. I would have liked more of the cherry to sweeten this up but I couldn’t stop sniffing my wrist after I applied it. Incredibly well blended and long lasting. Looking forward to testing more from this brand.

Onto the third scent from Flaner, and I must admit this one had the most impactful 'first impression' on me. The cherry element kicked in STRAIGHT away, without any prompting, and whilst it faded throughout the day, it still held its own the whole way through. I also got a mild 'Pale Fire' element throughout -- not that it smelt like Pale Fire, but moreso an element IN Pale Fire also exists in Manhattan Cherry. On top of that, the boozy elements remain strong throughout, and push the scent into 'intriguing' territory, at least for me. This one will be getting a second trial. My fave so far...

This is so yum! 🍒 it’s sophisticated & addicting. Personally it smells like whipped fluffy coconut cream with cherries but not like a gourmand, like a clean/light/sweet scent and the slight booziness is what gives it that warm & comforting vibe! perfect for date nights 🥃 I love it & this brand so much! It’s also vegan & cruelty free! Definitely a signature scent!

Great perfume, I got a sample of it with another Flanar perfume and loved it. Cherry done right.. No cough syrup vibes, just cherry, whiskey, cinnamon on the bed of vanillic leather!! highly recommended!!
