L'Impression

If you're looking for a comforting summer scent, this one's for you. I love this thing. This is the perfect fragrance to spray if you have no idea what you want to wear. Opening is a bit spicy because of the ginger. Drydown is gorgeous, love the rosemary-sage mix. It makes you happy, for real. The bottle is heavy, it looks nice, the cap is cheap plastic. Atomizer is average. Freshly opened, I get a good 5-6 hours on clothes. It projects for 1.5 hours. That's completely okay for a fresh scent like this one. 10ml travel sprayer filled, ready to be reapplied during the day.

THIS IS A QUICK COMPARISON BETWEEN Masion Alhambra Immortal And Flavia L'Impression And Alexandria Fragrances L'immensity And The original Louis Vuitton L'immensité (decant) They are all very close but not accurate L'Impression is the closest in the opening, but in the dry down is softer and becomes a skin scent but still very close. If you want the most accurate clone down to how soft the original becomes in the dry down, get the Flavia L'Impression clone, just spray a bit more. 90% close in opening, 85% close in dry down. Immortal is VERY ginger forward in the opening, but becomes closer in the dry down with a ginger focus but has better overall performance than Impression and even L'immensité. If you really love ginger then get Masion Alhambra Immortal clone. 80% close in opening, 85% close in dry down. L'immensity is in the middle to overall closeness it's just slightly more grapefruit forward in the opening and becomes closer in the dry down with a grapefruit focus, but since it's an extrate it has the best longevity, sillage and projection than all of them. If you want slightly more grapefruit and beast mode performance Alexandria Fragrance L'immensity clone. 85% close in opening, 90% close in the dry down. L'immensité is an awesome fragrance, very balanced, with average longevity, sillage and projection, it's very well done, but the $280 to $320 price tag is pretty steep. If Brand name is important and you got the money then get the Louis Vuitton. Performance is average to below average for it's hefty price tag.

Complete blind buy fragrance because I have never smelled L’Immensité but here is my take. Heavy on ambroxan when first sprayed mixed with citrus and ginger. It’s a touch strong when wet but dries down to a musky but high class elegant 90's like fragrance. In the same vein as Eternity or Tommy but what I really think this dry down is most similar to is Match Point by Lacoste. The musk and sage is almost identical but L'impression is a little more light with the watery notes and more sweet. The ambroxan stays but settles and almost smells like vetiver in later stages. I like the vibe this gives but if it’s a one off to L’Immensité it’s tragic that one costs 300 dollars. This is solid AF for 25 bucks for a 30+ guy thats wants to smell up scale and put together. Performance is not great with only 2 hours of projection and 5 hours on skin. I dig these type scents being a mid 40's guy that grew up on the likes of Eternity and Tommy. This is definitely a green fragrance that is best used for daytime events, could be a work scent. Would not wear on date night or dinner. It's interesting and I'm glad I put in collection but that's about it. Will give it a 7/10 based off value and upscale scent profile.
