Wow! This is a very unique, absolutely beautiful, almost angelic, fluffy cloud like fragrance. Don’t be put off by the notes. Nothing in this is heavy, sickly sweet or overly cakey. This is amazingly well blended! Gateau Des Anges opens with light notes of peach, butter and lemon, with a hint of whisky faintly in the background. As it dries down the milky vanilla/caramel and a sugary tuberose/honeysuckle mix appear. The dry down is where it’s at. It’s absolutely stunning! The best way I can describe this is like a fluffy, pillowy soft, cloud light sponge cake. It’s decorated with a mix of tuberose and honeysuckle flowers, drizzled with a little caramel sauce and dusted with vanilla icing sugar. The name is just perfect because this is very light and airy. It’s also long lasting. I got a good 6-8 hours wear out of this and the scent bubble was divine! I would wear this year round. I can’t stop smelling this and had to add this to my collection. If you like Gourmands, this is an absolute MUST try! I absolutely love it! 10/10! Some have compared this to D&G Devotion which I love, but this scent didn’t come to mind when I smelt Gâteau des Anges .... so I compared them side by side and can 100% say these are two completely different fragrances: Devotion - is a fun, sweet and sugary lemon scent that reminds me of Limoncello. Gâteau des Anges - is a much more refined and sophisticated type of gourmand resembling a fluffy angel cake with a good dose of vanilla/tuberose icing sugar. WARNING - for anyone in the UK, this cost me an additional £90 in shipping and import fees! The perfume is already very expensive for 50ml, so it’s only worth buying if you live in the US. Absolutely not worth it for UK customers.

Some fragrances whisper. Some announce. But Gâteau des Anges by Fleurit Parfums speaks without words, weaving its message into the air with such grace and warmth that it transcends language itself. It doesn’t just scent the skin—it elevates the soul. From the first delicate mist, I felt something shift—not outward, but inward. A quiet awakening of beauty that seemed to rise from within me. It’s as though the fragrance carries a memory you’ve never lived, of joy, softness, and golden light. The scent is a sophisticated composition, balancing creamy, sun-warmed bourbon vanilla with the crisp brightness of citrus, all wrapped in a comforting whisper of something almost edible, like the name suggests: Gâteau des Anges—cake of angels. Its elegant yet embracing. Each note unfolds like a smile, inviting not only admiration but connection. What makes this all the more special is the woman behind it. Fleurit Parfums is a small, women-owned business—born from friendship, built on love, and guided by an unshakable belief in the beauty of women. You can feel that intention in every detail—from the meticulously handcrafted blends to the thoughtfully designed bottle, and the kind of personalized service that makes you feel not just like a customer, but part of something deeply meaningful. This is more than a fragrance; it’s a love letter to femininity, connection, and the quiet power of being seen.

Knowing Lynn, the visionary and creator behind Fleurit, has given me a deeper appreciation for the artistry and care infused into every detail of this brand. As a devoted lover of vanilla fragrances, I can confidently say that this fragrance is pure magic. In fact, it has easily claimed the coveted spot as my number one vanilla fragrance in my entire collection—and that’s saying something, especially as this was a generous gift from the brand. After reading a previous lengthy negative review of this fragrance and Fleurit as a whole, I would encourage readers to take it with a grain of salt. There’s always more to the story, and my personal experience with the brand has been nothing short of exceptional. If you’re considering adding a Fleurit fragrance to your collection, I wouldn’t hesitate. From the thoughtfully crafted packaging—a quiet, understated luxury—to the sublime fragrances themselves, every aspect is a testament to French-inspired craftsmanship and dedication to quality.

Gateau des Anges is a fragrance that immediately captures the imagination. From the first moment it touches the skin, it unveils a delicate, airy sweetness that feels both indulgent and ethereal—true to its name. It’s the kind of fragrance that lingers gently, creating a beautiful sillage that turns heads without overwhelming. Gateau des Anges feels like a personal luxury—perfect for everyday wear or special occasions. What truly sets this experience apart, though, is not just the fragrance itself but the exceptional care from Fleurit Parfum. The customer service was warm, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful—from packaging to communication, every detail felt intentional and personal. It made the entire experience feel as special as the perfume itself. The other sense within the collection are equally pleasing! This is definitely a must have in every perfume collection.

The dabber sample I paid 20 dollars for from @kaylovely came completely shattered because she decided to pack it in nothing but a reused thin mailer envelope with a piece of printer paper she claims it was supposed to be wrapped in but it was not folded or creased at all and also had 80% of it cut out :/ no box, no inner wrapping, no protection. Just threw a glass vial in a thin mailer after cutting out her info from the scent burrd receipt without even bothering to remove the unrelated perfume pamphlet from them and called it a day. she refuses to refund me and actually had the audacity to link me to the usps claims website and tell me to deal with it lol. Not even a sorry or admission of fault. Mind you, I waited almost two weeks and gave her grace to send it at her own pace too. Do not order from her, just pay ten more dollars and get it new from the site

Thank you @Eau_des_vanille! On the plus side, the sample from the site, though it hurts to order because it’s expensive, comes fast and is well packed! On the scent itself, this was a love at first sniff for me. It smells hard to describe - kind of like sweet cake with citrus or fruits of some kind and I do smell the honeysuckle but it doesn’t smell floral, it just adds to the sweetness somehow. It almost smells like that colorful cereal milk, I forgot the name. It somehow smells like love don’t be shy without smelling anything like it, like what I wished it would be. It smells nostalgic and sweet and beautiful, gourmand yet elegant. I wish it came in a 100ml. I ordered it instantly and shipping was super fast. I couldn’t recommend this more. Favorite find of the year 100000%

Gateau des Anges is an irresistible scent. From the moment I first sampled it, I felt as though it had been made just for me. The blend of vanilla, honeysuckle, and caramel is perfectly balanced. It’s sweet, warm, and captivating. Every time I wear Gateau des Anges, people ask about the beautiful fragrance and where they can buy it. Knowing that Fleurit Parfums is a woman owned business makes it all the more special to me. The attention to detail from the elegant packaging to the surprise atomizer made my purchase feel luxurious and personal. I couldn’t be happier with this scent!

This is so similar to cow by zoologist at least on me, the milky scent and apple. Though it says peach in the notes to me it reads apple. Cow is a bit more barny with the hay note where this is much sweeter and vanilla. The opening on this is a bit odd i didnt like it until the dry down but after it dries down goddd its probably one of my fav scents ive tried this year. Very sweet vanilla + crisp fruit + creamy milk. Gorgeous!

I ordered my sample directly from Fleurit and was surprised to receive a 2ml splash vial. Shockingly, I splashed this scent around 7pm and it's still a lingering skin scent the next morning. How is such an airy scent able to last on skin until the next day? My husband loves it and he typically can't tolerate any powdery scents. This really does smell like a "vanillic" angel food cake.
- em inglês
A realistic lemon cake scent. In the opening I get lemon and milk, like you've gathered up your ingredients and you have the bowls sitting on the countertop. As it dries down it softens and I start picking up the butter and the vanilla. The peach adds an extra touch of sweetness and warmth. It's one of the few gourmands that I actually wear.
- em inglês
To me this is a soft powdery vanilla. I don't really get the lemon or the butter, but maybe they provide some silkiness to the scent. I really enjoy it and think it's FBW. It seems that everyone smells something different in this one, so I don't think it's a good blind buy (TBH I don't think anything above $50 is a good blind buy).
- em inglês
Realistic, long lasting lemon pound cake scent. Feels a little vintage in a nostalgic and comfortable way. Like a yellow 1950s kitchen with pastel tiles and frilly curtains. A little too simple and gourmand for me, but as someone who isn’t a big fan of lemon notes this is still yummy. Good for layering as it’s pretty simple.

Gâteau des Anges by Fleurit Parfums is my new favorite fragrance! It’s absolutely delicious and lasts all day. The balance of sweet warmth, a little citrus and the most beautiful vanilla is intoxicating. I get compliments every time I wear it - which is every day! It arrived quickly and the packaging is exquisite.
- em inglês
This perfume is a head turner! Every time I wear it I get noticed and the best part is that is really lasts!! It can also be paired with Sainte Fumee for another twist!! I love love this fragrance. On another note it arrived fast and great packaging!
- em inglês
I just tried this last night and I absolutely love this! I am NOT a gourmand girl so this is actually right up my alley. Its slightly gourmand but way more elevated and SOOOO fluffy and beautiful. Definitely bottle worthy.
- em inglês
I’m firmly team angel food cake, with a hint of fruity pebbles/smarties candies. Very pretty! Airy and creamy and I’m sure a lot of gourmand lovers would dig this.
- em inglês
Such a nice creamy, lactonic unique fragrance with a beautiful light spongecake citrus. This is so nice. I think it is a beautiful release.
- em inglês
Smells exactly like vanilla angel food cake! Light and fluffy, in a very elegant French style perfume.
- em inglês
Impressed by this offering by Fleurit. By far the longest lasting fragrance I have tried from them. ANGEL CAKE brings to mind something Victoria's Secret would come up with if they ventured into gourmands, but if you say it in French it matches the vibe a little better. It's truly lactonic, but unlike Afternoon Delight, the sourness is not so pungent. It's not photorealistic cake. It's not a madeleine cookie being chucked at your face. It reminds me of a comforting kitchen or a warm home... during Christmas... when no one is fighting... and you just had a dessert of pie and ice cream. It's the real Proust Barbie scent.
- em inglês
Surprisingly love it. Im not a gourmand girlie I like fresh florals and woody, airy, breezy but this is my gateway into vanillas! First sprayed on it smells like buttery lemon, not too sweet and I have an aversion' to sweet scents. As it settles it turns into a not too sweet vanilla with a hint of cream. Wish the lemon scent stuck around for longer.
- em inglês
Its a sweet, soft powdery supposed to be cake, but its not. she's new to me and i haven't quite figured out how to mix and match with her
- em inglês
I don't know about everyone else but i definitely smell the lemon at first sniff, as well as the caramel, butter and milk. My sister told me I smell like a lemon cake. My boyfriend says I smell good. Overall my first impressions with this perfume was that I can see its potential. Its a unique gourmand, not too cupcakey or too burnt sugar. Its smooth and creamy with a lemon zest making it good for fall or spring. However at times, especially in the beginning, I get a whiff of something sour or spoiled.
- em inglês
Smells amazing on paper, like a creamy, milky lemon pound cake. Mouthwateringly delicious. That’s how it smelled on my skin, too. For about 5 minutes. After that, it became overwhelmingly sour, like lemony spoiled milk. I had to scrub it off. Needless to say, this one did not work for me. I’m excited to try the others from this house, though.
- em inglês
All I get is lemon & butter. It’s not a bad smell by any means, but as a perfume it’s just too realistically foodie.
- em inglês
Lemon Angel Food Cake at first spray, then nothing. Soooo faint.
- em inglês
There are many beautiful vanilla, citrus, floral gourmands, this is NOT one of them! I can't believe there are people on YT hyping this up, clearly, they are being paid to do this. Also, there is an incense smell in it that is very nauseating. The dry down smells like an expired/old caramel. Not similar to Devotion. I agree with the reviewer that said it smelled like spoilt milk, there is some odd smell in the fragrance. I will be putting my bottle up for sale. Also, makes me think some of the positive reviews on here are bots.
- em inglês
I am a vanilla gourmand girly through and through. I also like tuberose. I was SO excited to try this. Sadly, it's not the one for me. It has a butter note similar to the one in Accident A La Vanille - not a dupe, but approaching that vibe? Plus tuberose/lemon? I wore the sample on my skin hoping that the drydown would agree more with me - it does not. It does not smell like cake to me - more like a sickly sweet icing. I know people will like this & I love to support a small house, but sample first!
- em inglês
Definitely smells like angel food cake but the lemon/peach has a very medicinal quality that makes me nauseous
- em inglês
This is not nice. It's very immature and juvenile. Like Froot Loops left sitting in milk.

I am a gourmand girlie. The last year or so I’ve really come to the realization that I love me the vanillas. But sadly I had a bad experience with this fragrance as it came in bad condition. Manufacturing error that led to a ton of wasted fragrance that spilled all over a dust bag that the fragrance comes with. Be warned that Fleurit will take forever to assist paying customers but will never offer a refund even when it’s clearly their fault. They say if you open it they can’t take it back but they basically send it opened there’s no cellophane of anything it’s.. honestly so many red flags that I didn’t know until I got burned by placing an order. During the weeks of struggle where I’m still trying to return the fragrance where they are only going to replace it they offer no other option but I’ve seen on Jax’s YouTube page that they were quick to reach out to her the moment she mentioned them and asked if she wanted any freebies. So it’s giving fuck the paying customers but if you have a ton of followers they will give free shit but never refund someone who got a broken leaking bottle and doesn’t like the scent. Yet they are really out here giving free bottles for a two minute review in a video that has reach. I’m so tired of these brands doing the most for people with a following. I adore Jax I think she’s so authentic but the brands are the issue. Like I no longer want anything to do with this brand and yet they won’t give me my money back even when the issue again is on their end they send me a defective bottle where the neck piece is loose and causing a leak. Only ever happened that type of thing happen with caramel pop from navitus sister company Vivamor and they immediately fixed it at my leisure of what I wanted which at that point I did want a replacement because caramel pop is worth every bit of hype it ever got it’s so damn good. Talk about boozy gourmand done to perfection. But this fragrance.. it smelled spoiled and boozy granted I was smelling far too much at once but after the weeks of email hassle and seeing how this brand moves.. it’s just disheartening because I love fragrances so much I’m constantly in here and Reddit and even my blog just giving free PR and pushing what I love. Some fragrances I absolutely talk about more online than some who have got it for free where as I paid and I’m still discussing it more. And a lot of fragrance lovers do the same they freely gush about loves just out of love and kindness so it makes me just wonder how many brands I love are secretly treating people like fleurit does because I’ve been lucky in my blind buying journey I’ve loved and had good experiences with almost everything I get because by notes alone I can usually always tell what I’ll love. So just a warning to anyone looking to buy this.. maybe don’t buy directly from the brand because they are kind of horrible to paying customers. Try shopping or sampling their brand from a third party with more customer friendly policies that won’t cheat you of your money for brand errors.

There is something very, very wrong in this for me. It's savory/spicy cake playdoh up close. I'm reading earlier reviews and I can't believe I am smelling the same thing they are.
- em inglês
This really does smell like a light and fluffy angel food cake but in a sophisticated way with the florals mixed in with it. I was told I smelled like fruity pebbles which I can see that as well. I think this would pair nicely with a body lotion I once had by Zeep called Helium which has a fruity pebbles vibe to it. I think a lot of people will enjoy this but it wasn’t a love for me, just a like. You know those fragrances that smell nice but you know you won’t really use it much? That’s how I felt this was for me. I’m at the point in my collecting journey where I’m only keeping stuff I really love so I sold my bottle. I’d much rather have a small travel spray of this since I would use it very rarely but it’s a pretty perfume nonetheless! It is a soft scent, not a skin scent but close wearing and performs better on clothes but still has more of an intimate sillage. Longevity was about 2-3 hours.
- em inglês
Sadly I’m just not getting the angel food cake or fruity cereal vibe from this. As another reviewer below pointed out this smells nearly identical to So Vanilla from Private Mood, that was my immediate first thought upon spraying. or even a similar-ish type of dna to a Blanche Bete (not the same—just the milky floral aspect, GDA is much more punchy w/ the boozy and citrusy notes) but yeah getting more of a milky boozy citrus tuberose and honeysuckle than anything gourmand. You gotta be okay with the prominent florals to like this, it’s far less gourmand than it has been presented so just keep that in mind. If you like So Vanilla/Private Mood or Blanche Bete you will surely like this.
- em inglês
Lovely. Lemon cake, not ultra “tart”, more like lemon zest, not lemon juice. I can smell all the notes listed. Not musky at all, and even though it’s a cake scent it’s not overly sweet and artificial like a bath and body works smell. It’s not boring like one of those trending “baked goods” frags that have good packaging but just smell like generic waffles or whatever. This is so interesting and understated, and also very edible like an actual dessert...but also a perfume. So nice. Love it.
- em inglês
This is beautiful! And I am very picky !! This smells like fluffy peach cake! You have to overspray but it’s BEAUTIFUL It has no gross musk notes or synthetic smell to it. Very very well done for gourmand lovers reminds me of cotton vanilla same nice peach note in it. Highly recommend
- em inglês
Buttery, milky caramel/sweet gourmand scent to my nose. While it doesn’t smell bad, it doesn’t smell appealing to me at all. I get no lemon, no peach, no flower notes at all. Glad I only got decant and not full bottle.
- em inglês
This is the most exquisite, delicious vanilla scent I’ve ever worn. It’s so subtle but I get compliments every single time I wear it! It’s so feminine and I feel like I got this mixed just for me in France.
- em inglês
This absolutely does NOT smell like angel food cake. It’s not even close. Gateau des Anges smells more like a rich cheesecake with a heavy butter note than anything else. It lasts a long time on my skin.
- em inglês
I like this one. It's does not smell like angel food cake to me, but I like it. To me it's more candy sweet than baked good. This also smells a lot like So Vanilla by Private Mood, but more buttery.
- em inglês
I love this one so much. A new favorite. It smells like a rich & creamy lemon/peach cake with hints of honeysuckle. Absolutely decadent.
- em inglês
I am unsure why it smells like pee to me, maybe the butter note? It's like candied pee.
