Boyish by Floriaku is characteristic of the house in that it has an exceedingly well blended small notes list with an overall feel that is delicate and captivating. It is an indulgence. The scent itself is a very nice bergamot-heavy reach which has a non-powdery iris running through its heart that almost goes sour against some incense notes and a mossy vetiver in the heart, but not in a bad way. I get this fascinating white wine frisson for about ten seconds in the opening that goes away as the sheen dries. It would be an awesome office or casual wearer but has the chops to do the business on a formal setting or a night out as well. It is yet another very well judged Alberto Morillas creation that I am extremely happy to own. I've always been a big fan of Floriaku because I think they understand why we buy fragrances. It is the indulgence. Their wonderful bottles. That presentation box that is almost over the top in its luxurious feel, with its little travel sprayer and ornate case that doubles as a bottle cap. It is a joy to open it and it is a joy to own it. Few bottles feel as special as a Floriaku does, not least because they aren't a mainstream brand. They are the sort of fragrances that you sniff at home even if you aren't wearing them, just because you can, because it makes you feel happy. It makes me very happy to buy a Floriaku box and to sometimes reach for it, spray it, wear it and enjoy it, maybe more than almost any other house in fact. It makes me even happier to gift a Floriaku box to someone else. Gifting it is an indulgence for me. I've had an awful 2026 so far but being able to take joy in little things like this is a gift that is not to be underestimated. To gift it, to own it, to smell it, to wear it on a posh night out or at home alone in your underwear, eating pizza and bingeing Netflix, that is the joy. Most of my friends and family do not see the happiness that fragrances bring me, and cannot see me light up when I talk about them. They don't care. Most of them do not even know me really. It isn't important to them, but it is important to me. Live your life, indulge yourself your joy and take it where you can because the world is a pretty joyless place if you don't. Like lucius or lemon line had a baby with dior homme original? Riviera Sunrise and DHI? Oh, its torino 21 and Dior Homme Original. Its kind of like City Rhythm San Diego but less creamy. Something like that. The lily smells like city rhythm heliotrope for sure and it dries down to citrus linen. Its Lucius with iris but its so weak and also would be redundant if you have any if those (except the Dior’s this is citrus) boring if you have any of those
