One Umbrella for Two

I am fruit fragrances, Japan and aesthetics sucker, so I wanted to love it sooooo much. The bottle is something else: gorgeous and practical with travel format... Piece of art. However it's overpriced for me by a few reasons: 1. Longevity and sillage are nowhere to find. 2. At the opening I get such a disgusting tint to it, sort of metallic rotten durian or something. It vanishes after an 30-60 min or so, as well as the majority of this scent itself haha. 3. After 30-60 minutes I get a very pleasant scent that lasts for 1 or 2 hours. It reminds me of dense jam my grandma used to make from our own raspberries. A bit of "burnt raspberry" to be honest, I guess it's tea or rice playing the role here. I really have to smell it on my wrist though as there's no projection at all. 4. By lunch I have clean skin, no traces of this scent at all. On a bright side: it's linear and changes all the time, it's amazing. I get raspberries, black currant, tea, waffles, rice, flowers, bubble gum, wood and God knows what else. Very polarizing but this is what I like about it. At certain moment it's super nice and I'd like to keep it this way, but unfortunately it does not last and it has no projection at all. All in all, one of the most bizarre fragrances I owned.

Wow. This is my idea of a woman, in scent form. It's beautiful, elegant, cozy, comforting, attractive, alluring, sexy, calming, enticing, and delicate. But not frail, weak, or anonymous in any way. It's clear and determined, and makes it's way with a presence and dignity of something with a clear goal, and no care in the world at the same time. I definitely get the "blueberry muffin", and it is simply perfect. Not too sweet, but as sweet as a blueberry muffin should be. The Rice and Tea note mixing perfectly, and a blackcurrant whiffing past at all times. There is definitely a floral aspect, but i can't pin down what it is. I get 0% woods on my skin. None whatsoever. It's basically a light, summery, flirty gourmand on me. Way too feminine for me to wear outside around people, but Definitely something i'd love my girlfriend to wear. Personal score: 9.5/10. It had me at first spray. This is one of Very few fragrances that just gives me "loving girlfriend/wife" vibes. And i can't get enough of it.

To me this is quite exciting because it actually does what it says on the tin: it smells of blackcurrant, cedar and genmaicha. Not like perfumes that boast of crazy fandangled notes like pistachio and cannabis that you have to be in an incredibly benevolent mood to say you can detect them. This is a sweet fragrance, but it’s so interesting that it might win over people turned off by sugary scents. There is an uplifting almost juicy burst of citrus upon spraying that somehow maintains itself through the life of the fragrance, which is a good counterpart to the sweetness of the fruit. Underscoring everything is that unmistakeable toasted brown rice note that gives OUFT its unique dimension. This ain’t no after-school corner store tutti-fruity treat — it’s the sweet course at a fancy restaurant you go to twice a year. And it has a surprising sillage that others will detect even if you can’t. You might have more than one person taking shelter under your umbrella.

I find some similarities in this to Musc Moschus by Raina J, though I prefer Musc Moschus. Something about One Umbrella for Two is giving me a very medicinal smell. I will note that, that I'd previously left a review and not understood those comments, but I've gone back to apply more, and unfortunately, that medicinal smell is quite strong on the opening! That said, I do enjoy this fragrance, and if I had an opportunity to pick it up at a large discount I would! I think it's pretty and well-done, and obviously the bottle is to die for! After this fragrance settles on my skin, it goes from medicinal to kind of a soggy rice... which I realize that doesn't sound very appealing, but I mean it in a good way (just not sure how to describe it better). I'm struggling to put my finger on this one. I enjoy it, I like it, but at the price it's not full-bottle worthy. Strikes me as a fragrance that can be worn year-round. Kind of in that "your skin but better" family.

Smells EXACTLY like a blueberry scone at teatime. Literally has the texture of a scone to me no other way to explain it 😭 pretty much same smell on card and on skin to me although it changed a little bit on my girlfriend. Lasted quite long, at least 8 hours on me. To me this is what gourmands are meant to be-specific scent memories associated with comfort foods or meaningful moments. The warmth and softness of blueberry scones will always have great meaning for me as my family had them whenever we had a fun fancy teatime and this scent PERFECTLY replicates that. Can I in good conscience say it's worth the astronomical price? No. Do I own it or see myself owning it anytime soon? Also no. That being said, if I ever find myself wanting to smell like blueberry scones and also with an excess of wealth, I'd certainly consider a purchase. So if you want to smell blueberry scones in perfume form and screw the cost, absolutely buy this and I will cheer you on!

fruity gourmand pleasure. it does indeed smell like a blueberry muffin from a fancy bakery. i haven't smelt a fragrance comparable to this, and i never thought i'd want to exude blueberry muffin, but this really is divine. i don't get a sour or cannabis smell like some have said, that would be gross and a huge no for me. however, the black currant can be a bit overpowering compared to the rest of the notes, which are subtle but there. this is a very comforting year-round scent. the bottle cap and packaging it comes in are absolutely beautiful and seem intricately designed compared to many other fragrances that just come in a box. it actually hurts my soul that it retails for $350 for just 1.6oz but this is a fragrance i would save to get a full bottle of.

I got a sample of this after wanting to purchase it for ages and I'm so glad that I did. It's one of the most delicious and delicate scents ever, it actually does smell like fresh blueberry pastries. There's a tinge of rice and musk, too, which I could see some people finding unpleasant but I find that it's almost addictive. I cannot stop sniffing my arm. However - it does not last on my skin. It leaves almost an hour after it dries down. It's by far one of the most disappointing and saddest fragrance experiences I've had so far because it absolutely lives up to the hype but it's far too expensive and doesn't last nearly long enough to justify purchasing a full bottle. I'll have to try my luck with some dupes. Perhaps in the future...

The first gourmand I actually like! I usually am not thrilled about gourmands: too artificial and overly sweet, notes that always feel wrong and are weird on skin This one is great! Tested it on skin and it's marvelous People say it smeels like rice, but I eat rice everyday and I dont catch it It's this sweet and biscuity perfume that is pleasent to smell, but not headache inducing like most sweet perfumes No tea notes unfortunately, but it opens a new door to be something else entirely, and I love it! Funny anecdote: before testing it I was talking to my fiorentine friend that someone should make a perfume based on cantuccio (a traditional fiorentine biscuit), lone and behold: the same day I find this perfume

I’ve been wanting to try this fragrance for quite a while now, and mostly just based on the incredible bottle (it’s a work of art!). I am not a gourmand person at all. I even have a hard time with vanillas because of how much i dislike sweet scents. But this. This scent is so deeply beautiful, it was truly love at first sniff. People keep saying this smells like blueberries, but blueberries don’t smell like this. This is a true, jammy, ripe black currant. The rice note gives it a toastiness and light sweetness that gives it the “bakery” note. The cedar and musk give this a beautiful depth and rounds it out perfectly. This reminds me of funnel cake and fruit compote, summertime at the county fair.

This is the first fragrance in my collection that gives me this vibe. I have some gourmands, but this one is different. I describe it as "The prettiest thing I've ever smelled" 💖 It's sweet, so be aware of that if you're not into this type of fragrance, but for me, as a person who doesn't typically fall for sweet perfumes, this one is an exception. Performance is very good; however, the smell stays rather close to the skin. It's just cocooning, creamy, fruity, fluffy, with a woody base. I love spraying it on my wrists, and after hours of wearing it, when I try to smell it by warming it up while inhaling and exhaling with my nose, the aroma comes alive again and smells simply magical ✨

I would describe this scent as a gourmand edible blackcurrant, almost like a pineapple at first. I can see how it can remind of the sweetness of marijuana after first 5 minutes, but I don’t find it overwhelming at all, very subtle underneath the blackcurrant, but if you’re looking for it, you can smell it. Personally I don’t get the blueberry muffin vibes, there’s just not enough vanilla there, but blackcurrant jam without the pancakes. For me it’s a happy place perfume. I don’t particularly get many compliments while wearing it, but I would be happy to eat my own wrist. All in all, keywords here would be blackcurrant, edible, happy, childhood, creamy and has certain thickness to it

My introduction to this perfume was via a YouTuber expressing their love of this ‘blueberry muffin with tea’ fragrance. I perused third party retailers before going to Floraïku’s website to purchase the discovery set. Upon initial spray, I was dismayed, as it straight up smelled like seasoned rice; very savory. I have since used the samples and purchased a full bottle, as I can smell the blueberry muffin much more, but I still get whiffs of savory rice every now and then. Definitely do yourself a favor and buy the discovery set or a sample before investing in this fragrance, or the similarly noted Vilhelm Parfumeries’ Poets of Berlin.

smells like horchata and black currants mixed together with a tiny bit of the smell of a bakery and tea its a little bit nostalgic to me and probably to all slavic and baltic people and as a lithuanian it reminds me of eating black currants recently picked from the bush from grandmas garden and coming home too see that grandma baked a pie and made you some tea and also in the dry down the black currant gets a little bit tart but to me its a perfect combination between tart and sweet and not being overly sweet sadly leans feminine to my nose but its that damm good that i dont give a fuck its a 10/10 for sure

It is one on most unique tea scents i have in my collection. If Matsukita is a Japanese sophisticated princess, this one is her skin scent. I can smell when you attend a tea ceremony, where u are eating buttery matcha mochi with blackurrant jam inside while sipping hot tea in the middle of rainy outdoor. Truly comforting, addicting and cocooning. This are the type of beastly skin scents i want to collect. The branding , curating and quirky standout bottle with Japanese-style colorful graphic art printed on leather cap that turns into a container of travel size fragrance is truly captivating.

Definitely did not expect this by just looking at the notes. It’s a classy and refined gourmand. A real blueberry treat. It being a biscuit or a muffin doesn’t matter. It’s like being transported in a rainy day inside of a bakery, with dimmed warm lights and you just ordered a blueberry sweet for yourself while reading a book. A profound fragrance that deserved its fame. Only downside is that it’s not too concentrated, at least where I tried it on my end. So if you expect something with large sillage and longevity, this might not be it. And it’s perfect that way. Rating: 9+/10 🫐🍪

I am not a gourmand lover, but this was love at first sniff. I mean, my jaw literally dropped. I was in heaven. This is a blackcurrant jam on top of a muffin, but make it at the rooftop of an extremely expensive bakery in Paris or somewhere luxurious. I’ve never smelled anything quite like it. I’m so beyond in love. I’ve never purchased something so expensive so quickly and impulsively and I know I won’t regret it. The longevity of the decant I had really sold me... I went for a walk outside in 95 degree weather and came back inside and it was still just as powerful. LOVE.

This scent is pure comfort — like a warm berry bake, somewhere between cheesecake and muffin heaven. Honestly, it’s impossible to truly dislike this aroma. Anyone leaving harsh reviews must have lost their sense of joy. It’s a delicious, cozy fragrance that instantly pulls you back into childhood memories. I smelled it for the first time today, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. Would I wear it every single day? Probably not. But would I reach for it often to lift my mood? Definitely yes. It’s simply beautiful...

probably the most interesting scent i've ever smelled. to my nose, it's a combination of various random things; a stale blueberry muffin, raspberry fruit tea, felt tip pens, shampoo, assorted nuts, some sort of sweet biscuit, and swizzel's lemon refreshers. despite it sounding feminine, it really doesn't lean that way much. i reckon its a 60/40 unisex leaning fem. i fell in love with this when i first smelled it at salon de parfums in harrods and really haven't smelled anything as wowing before. 9/10.

I'm not really sure what some of the negative comments about this perfume, but it really is a brilliant light shining through a dark forest, one of the best gourmand I've come across this year , the blackberry reminds me of amd the musk hark back to when I first discovered Mure et Musc , rice and black or earl grey tea keep the fruity note on top and bright , cedar and cyclamen keep it going , imo a savory gourmand that's well balanced maybe is for a few and not for everyone but needed.

Smells like realistic blueberry muffins/ berry pie right out of oven, soon later berry is more dominant, but then final dry down is again that muffin/ pie. Reminds me of Jorum Studio Healing berry, but this is softer and less tart. Lovely fragrance and went straight to favorites, but still i wished slightly more muffin. And yes i do have eaten black currants many time and i am not a huge fan of that aroma atleast in fragrances, but this one does not scream black currant at all to me.

One umbrella for two wasn’t a love from the first sight, on the contrary the first impression was something sweet, cloying and overpowering. But got a tester from Floraiku discovery set and fell in love, so the bottle is on the way. It is sweet but has tartness that balances the sweetness out, I got blackcurrant not blueberry notes and I love blackcurrant smell like a reminder of my grandmother’s garden, again there are days when it opens with almond notes although it’s not listed.

This perfume is so special. I have never smelled a gourmand like it before - it's happiness inducing to me. The opening is particularly beautiful with a bright and zesty blackcurrant combined with the green tea and rice notes. It's yummy and edible - the musk begins to show in the dry down and melds with the skin in a beautiful way. It's sweet but still complex because of the rice and green tea notes. It's also rare in that the notes could work for fall and spring. Love, love it.

Upon first spray this smelled like berries that had been cooked down for so long that the bottom started to burn. That burning sensation fortunately disappears after 30mins to me. After that I get warm sweet berries with a hint of rice. To me this is a comforting fragrance that I love wearing on rainy days perfect for fall and I assume winter time. I sampled before buying a full bottle and thus far have no regrets of doing so.

Smelled this at Martin Patrick in Minneapolis. Absolutely amazing, I think it may be the first time I have smelt a prominent rice note in a fragrance - I'll be keeping an eye out for it in the future. Absolutely beautiful nutty gourmand that almost had a smell of kettle corn to my nose. Leans extremely feminine IMO. I think this would smell gorgeous on my wife or mom. Very signature worthy.

This fragrance smells like blackcurrant/blackberry jam spread on whole grain toast. It has a nutty toasty aspect while being very edible and yummy. There's a touch of tea as well. And it lasts forever. That being said, A kiss in the rain by Julianna's is nearly identical.. if you want to save like $300.. I've tried decants side by side and I'm hard pressed to find the difference.

I've loved this fragrance for three years now, although I could never afford a full bottle. I stopped wearing it some time last year though, and when I decided to test it again today, it really struck me that it smells like hazlenut. Specifically the hazlenut in Amouage Guidance. I wonder if anyone else gets this. Anyway, it's amazing and I still need a full bottle.

This is a masterfully blended fragrance. blackcurrant scone that hits you in the beginning and it fades into a lovely sweet blueberry tea until the cedar & musk ground you at the finish line. It’s enveloping cozy sophisticated, and calming. A proper fall scent. Something to wear when you have tea to spill with your closest mate over downtown brunch ;)

Smelled this at a niche perfumery and I must say I was blown away at the first whiff of this. I smells like straight up blueberry muffins from a desert boutique with a cup of steaming hot tea juxtapose to it. Don't even get me started on the presentation that is custom with this line. Contrary to reviews, for what you get it is well worth the price.

I was looking for a pastry scent, and this is perfect. I get mulled berries with a tart pastry vibe. I will say I get the rice accord on my skin, which gives a savory component. It’s a gourmand, but also not?? It’s a very unique scent, with great performance. I would never pay retail tho, I did get on sale! Packaging and performance are both a win!

Sometimes I get a whole grain berry pastry with tea and other times I get fruity marijuana (in the best way lol).. either way this fragrance is incredibly comforting and smooth. I much prefer this to EBK Deep n Desire which was too sharp and abrasive for my taste. Plus the bottle is refillable. I'm in love..but not blind buy safe in the least

Ok so this comparison may make no sense but I recently tried Byredo Bibliotheque and loved it at first spray then it developed this NASTY rotten fruit aroma. This perfume is like JUST the good part of Bibliotheque. I think it must just be the dark fruits giving me this sense but whatever, I’m into it, just wish I could afford a full size.

Similar to EBK blue one or Poets of Berlin by Vilhelm imo. Super sweet blueberry meets an interesting rice note. I absolutely love and adore this and hope to buy a full bottle soon! Clearly, it’s one of Floraiku’s most popular scents for a reason and it’s definitely gourmand, sweet and addictive to my nose!

I love the black currant note. It's sweet-tart and addictive. Love the airy/woody/slightly sweet/fluffy musk enveloping it. I don't get rice. It's fairly linear to my nose and not complex but I really love it. It's also unique to me. I have a decant and plan on buying a full bottle.

A masterpiece of simplicity and comfort. It opens with the most realistic blueberry muffin scent I’ve ever encountered, but the black tea note keeps it sophisticated and grounded. It’s airy yet gourmand, like a rainy afternoon spent in a cozy cafe. Truly a poetic fragrance

great name for a great fragrance! i share my perfumes with my girlfriend, we brought this on a trip to japan and we were devised to find that we left the travel vial in a restaurant and so bought a replacement. when i smell it now, it reminds me of the trip to Japan.

Strangely this gives me a better madeleine cookie vibe than Blue Madeleine by Atelier des Ors. That scent is nice and interesting in its own right but the smoky-woody-balsamic notes overpower the whole composition. I really expected that to smell more like this.

Perfume is long lasting, best blaccurant I have tasted. Creamy, sweet, a biy milky, cashmere like. Absolutley love it. I never tested something similar. And beauty of bottle speaks for itself. For me its worth to have in colection.

I liked it two years ago in harrods. Luckily, i saw it on offer online for 40% off retail price and I have like £20 off due to accumulated points so overall i only paid £130 online on allbeauty. I bought the 50ml +10ml set.

I am not the biggest fan of gourmands but there is something special about this perfume especially in the air. I get an airy sweet blueberry muffin type of smell. I get so many compliments every time I wear this. 10/10

This is so savory and pretty, the notes are blend so good... it makes you want to eat muffins, I get this idea of like the muffin has a crust, the way how this fragrance compliments your skin. It’s just beautiful!

first time smelling it the rice note was very weird and disgusting. second time smelling it fell in love with it, very clean tea blackberry fragrance. kinda pricey but worth it imo

LOVE THIS! It smells juicy black currant and refreshing tea mixed with rice water smell. Feels cheerful but not in the young vibes, quite mature.

This fragrance blooms. The puffed rice note is gentle and fades into the sweet blueberry tea dry down. Wearing this perfume is an experience.
