Neon Rose

I’m definitely in love. To begin, Neon Rose is meant to smell like the stems from flowers in a floral shop which is completely accurate. Maybe it’s a rose but the roses are not the main character here. In fact, rose is not one of the notes according to Floral Street’s website. Get a combination of Pear, Apple Blossoms, and Jasmine. Sometimes, I get a whiff of peach. The thing that makes smell clean and shampoo-y is the Juniper Berries which also makes it smell “cool”. Anything that smells cold is a huge win in my book. Floral Street was right when it smells “quirky”. There is nothing traditional about this scent. It just wants to be weird and experiment with a lot of different notes. The idea of making it a “Rose if it was Neon” was bold because it could mean anything and go in any direction. Scent bird categories this as a Floral Fruity Green which means it supposed to be how flowers smell after they get drenched in water which is accurate. It kind of reminds me “Flower Show” by Demeter. Overall, just a very lovely, iconic, amazing scent that I can’t stop thinking about.

My favorite rose perfume in my collection!! I love the zesty, almost sharp green note this has, like in Jo Malone's Nectarine Blossom and Honey. I assume that's the cassis, as they both have it in common? The pepper and bergamot add sparkle to this in a very playful way. The rose and it's companion floral notes settle oh-so-nicely into the base, which has whispers of peach and a bit of warmth to slightly offset all the cool, crisp freshness of the green in this scent. I can understand why some people don't vibe with this. It seems to work beautifully on my skin, though. As do most green, fresh, fruity fragrances. If that sounds like you, this could be a great option! But to each their own.

Another fabulous modern scent from Floral st. This is worrying for my bank balance lol Yes it's rose but it's a rose that has been plugged in and become dazzled care of the blossom note. They are very much as strong as each other in this gorgeous creation. The sambac jasmine is definitely present and acts as a support to the main players. I did get some zesty kick from the bergamot on the opening. If you normally steer clear of the rose note then this is definitely one to try and be pleasantly surprised by. I think on balance it's the blossom that is Queen here. She is the last to leave the stage. Very feminine, warm and modern. Moderate longevity and sillage.

Neon Rose Flowery Street, according to its name, is a floral scent with a note of the brightest, loveliest, most delightful, and most realistic rose. Apple Blossom, Bergamot, Cassis, and Sichuan Pepper make up the top notes, followed by Rose, Egyptian Jasmine, Cyclamen, Angelica, Juniper Berries, and Peach as the middle and base notes, respectively. Very feminine, cosy, and contemporary. On me, longevity lasts forever, and the projection is fantastic as well. I really enjoy this well-balanced scent. This gorgeous, daring, and wholly contemporary rose scent is for people who like to draw attention during the day.

Definitely a rose forward scent. The rose is super fresh and a little soapy and sharp which I love. It’s also fruity thanks to the peach and the juniper berries are a nice addition. It’s my new fave of the moment and very underrated especially for a clean/vegan house. Normally these kinds of house’s fragrances don’t typically last long, but this lasts a good while (around 6+ hours for me). I love it and it is a close second to my first two loves Izia and ADP Peonia Nobile. Obsessed and a must try if you like this scent profile.

Love this. Crisp fresh rose with a bit of a dark undertone which stops it being too fruity or sweet - smells like patchouli to me but I don’t see it on the notes, so perhaps it’s the cedar? There are a million fruity rose perfumes out there but this one has a special / unique quality that elevates it above the rest. Quite versatile, could see it being used for day or night. Pretty good projection and longevity as well.

It has the scent of a lovely pink shampoo, with greener, softer, feminine roses. I truly loved this one – it shines through its simplicity. I doubt anyone would stop to compliment it, but it’s such a pleasure to wear for yourself. On my skin the longevity is moderate to long; I could sense it all day, though it remains more intimate. Elegant and definitely one of my favourites from the brand :)

I'm surprised by the bad reviews of this one. Whilst it's cheap, I don't think it smells it. It's an apple-fresh, shampooey, grassy rose - perfect for summer picnics or a day at the beach. The air-freshener aspect others pick up didn't even occur to me. I find it very bright, sparkling and pleasant. Perfectly feminine and pretty, plus the bottle is lovely.

I quite like it, it's refreshing, bright and uplifting. Floral, fruity and green. Yes maybe it smells very much like a shampoo or maybe even hairspray but it's not cheap smelling to me. Very feminine and for every age, a white t-shirt and jeans kind of scent.

The most beautiful rose fragrance , ever! It has a bit of a shampoo scent to it, but I love shampoo and soap scents!..Neon Rose is my favorite rose scent at the moment!...Very clean, rosey, fruity and fresh!... I love it!

A zesty, happy green rose scent perfect for spring and summer. I find the scent really uplifting and energizing — it has a freshness and a “zing” to it that kinda reawakens my senses when I smell it. I adore this perfume.

Love this! 3/3 For Floral Street so far! This one in my opinion is great for summer. It's very aquatic and sweet. Floral Street is slowly becoming my favorite perfume house lol

Super fresh floral scent, really enjoying this

Perfect name for this fragrance. Rose on steroids! I’ve only ever sniffed Chypre Sublime from this house, which was very agreeable, but to my nose neither a chypre or sublime. Then just recently I was walking through a major shopping centre in London looking for (of all things!) a car in a central London showroom. On the way out, Floral Street had an appealing little pop-up..I sniffed this...and DAMN... I was blown AWAY! The brightest, prettiest, most delectable & realistic pink rose with a hint of citrus...and then something magical added (what is this note?!) that seems to boost this scent into mystical, luminous, dreamscape territory. I’m wearing it at night to test this evening and I feel wonderful... This is a beautiful, BOLD and totally modern rose fragrance for daytime attention-seekers. I’m 40 + and I would love & wear this in any setting, but I can particularly see a confident, gorgeous 20-something OWNING this. Sublime.

When I saw the notes I was really excited to try this one. But I was nervous about the name since I don’t care for roses that much. But thankfully the rose is the least prominent note here. My nose mostly pick up the apple, peach and amber which makes the scent soft and elegant but simultaneously with a certain statement to it. It’s not generic at all which I was a little afraid of that it would be. It’s fresh and sweet in a unique way. Floral street are very skilled when it comes to making fragrances that are flowery (sometimes fruity) and sweet without it being too cloying. I’m impressed by this house so far.

A pretty floral, but I’m disappointed that’s the rose is not more evident on my skin. I suppose from the title of this, I was expecting a modern take on rose, which I love, but it’s really not there. This smells more fruity than floral and that must be the lime, though it could really be any citrus fruit. There is a slight warmth. It’s fleeting though and sadly only lasts 2/3 hours on my skin. Perfumes such as Angel, or Angel Muse last 8/10 hrs on me for context so this is disappointing as in the same price bracket and is a Parfum.

I don't understand the low ratings for this one. It's a wonderfully cool and refreshing rose. To me it combines something of the jasmine and peach accord of Lanvin's Marry Me (but without the problematic indolic aspect) with the ozonic breeziness of CK's Eternity Air. Best of all, it seems not to contain any of those nose-singeing molecular notes that often make similar scents unwearable to me. I'm not sure I need another fresh floral fragrance in my collection but I really like this one and would recommend it.

I love a nice rose perfume. This one didn’t disappoint. Sometimes rose can come across a bit traditional or old fashioned but not this one! It’s quite different from everything I’ve tried so far. It feels very green and fresh, like I am cutting rose stems right off of the bush. I love the spiciness of the pepper. I love the apple blossom. Not a sweet, jammy or powdery rose. Edit: my vial of neon rose has “gone off” quite quickly, which is a disappointment and will probably keep me from rebuying in the future

This strikes me as a rose perfume for people who don't like rose. The citric green opening is more reminiscent of cut stems than petals and blooms, and it mellows down to a subtle floral in which the rose is only a minor player. It's not a very long-lasting fragrance, but it's pleasant while it's there. Like many fragrances of the floral street line, the flower in the name seems to be a bit of a random choice - if you love rose, there's a good chance this will be extremely disappointing to you.

I received this as part of a giveaway of a floral street discovery set after entering a Facebook competition and I am working my way through the samples. If you can get past the rather harsh opening of this it dries t down to a super pretty fresh and soft rose scent. It’s not the loudest or the strongest rose I own but it’s a modern greens and fresh take on the scent rather than the more powdery ones that have appeared recently. One of my faves from the set.

I’m not familiar with the original Bombshell by VS, but one spray of neon rose and I’m immediately transported to 2012 when I bought the body spray of Bombshell The Summer Edition (ombre bottle with pink/orange at the bottom and a green plant print stripe on the cap). This smells really good, but obviously is not new. I can't shake the scent memories - kissing boys I shouldn't, sneaking cigarettes, not having a care in the world.

This is not a powdery rose perfume, which I like. It's fresh, a little bit spicy, and there's a hint of sweetness. Smell the same with Victoria Secret's Bombshell (which I have the full bottle), but I prefer this one. If Bombshell is a high school girl, Neon Rose is her college sister, and they share the same shampoo and body care. Be careful if you don't like Bombshell, don't get this one. So far, I like it. 7.5/10.

I hadn't previously known what apple blossoms smelled like and thought they would smell more like apple, and that the fragrance would resemble Etat Libre D'Orange's I Am Trash minus the musk but I was very wrong. This is a green-leaning fruity floral. It gives me shampoo vibes, like Herbal Essences. It's pleasant enough, and inoffensive, but I probably won't buy a FB once my sample runs out.

Floral and green. I like it better than their other options (possibly because this scent is more "feminine"). As a previous reviewer mentioned, it smells like a body spray I would have purchased in high school. It's bright and a bit flirty. It's not "mature" or complex enough for me to wear out and about, so this would be a "t-shirt" scent for me.

Wow! Gorgeous! Reminds me of Mademoiselle Rochas EDT. Cassis will not be to everyone's tastes, nor the Angelica, but that's exactly what I love about it. Rose forward but not a soliflore. Full of interest. No ugly modern molecules sticking out though I'm sure they're there. I think vintage lovers will appreciate this one, especially.

Oh, I actually like this one a lot. Rose is one of my favorite notes. This opened yes, with rose, but there was something else... I couldn't figure it out, something sweet and slightly tart and unusual. I looked it up, and I guess this was apple blossom, a note I never smelled in anything else. I think this one is very pretty.

Zesty rose, very cheerful. The bergamot keeps it fresh, bit of astringency from the juniper, balancing cedar underneath. Apple blossom seems a popular note in home fragrance, dish soap and bath and body products, so I can see why many find that distracting and not “perfumey.” I like it though-- wearable, polite silage.

I fell in love with the bottle first. The fragrance is one I find myself reaching for a lot on warm days. It performs well in the heat. The cassis and apple blossom are dominant to me. It is slightly green, slightly floral, a little aquatic and very fruity. I would consider repurchasing when done with this bottle.

For some reason i barely smell it on myself however quite a few people have randomly told me they smell my perfume and complimented me. I do pickup a bit of a sour and clean smellIng floral. Got it as a Christmas gift and is pleased. Not really sure on it as yet but its my new go to for work for the time being.

I think that anyone who enjoys rose would like this, but it's nothing exciting or new. It's also not very versatile; I tend to only use it on sweltering summer days. It goes on a bit sharp, but the dry down is soft and fresh. It's youthful and pretty, but it won't make you smell like a girls' locker room.

From the reviews and name, I expected something sharp and photorealistic of juicy roses. What I actually get is a cold, photorealistic bunch of cut flowers. Imagine walking into a florist’s shop. It also has a zing of a sterile note- and maybe that’s the neon part? I liked this one, but didn’t love it.

A tangy green rose. Definitely best for hot weather where the green notes can be appreciated more. I like it, but it’s not remarkable or in my style to purchase. It has questionable lasting power too, I prefer the other “bright and happy” floral street frags like sunflower pop or wonderland peony.

If you want to smell like you've just bathed in a beautiful, sweet rose soap, this is it. It feels so fresh and clean but also such a nice floral. I have a sample and think I may have buy a travel size down the line, but right now I have other things that fit this niche without spending the money.

A really beautiful rose fragrance! The opening has a really nice citrus scent, it’s not too sharp or sweet, its really pretty! It dries down into a mainly rose scent, but the jasmine is also easy to pick up on! And the freshness is gorgeous! Definitely a nice spring or summer fragrance!

Light, fruity floral that's heavy on the fruit. It reminds me of a Herbal Essences shampoo. I don't dislike it. It's actually light, breezy, bright and pretty. Could be worn be anyone anytime. It's just not what I'm looking for in a fragrance, so I'll pass on this one.

Freshly cut roses. Summer, I really didn't like this. Almost reminded me of a rotting rose. Now that it's winter with a high windchill there's something refreshing about it. Like seeing a fresh flower for the first time after a long cold dark period. Photorealistic.

I’m not a big fan of rosy notes in particular as most of the time it smells like rose water to me, but this one is one of the exceptions. I love how refreshing this perfume smells. It feels like walking in a flower shop. Smells like spring.

Neon is right! Bright, energetic fruity floral. Perfect for those who dig that fruity floral shampoo vibe. It’s really fun and youthful. Not at all what I usually wear or gravitate towards but it’s too happy a smell to dislike.

This is brilliant in warm and hot weather. Contemporary take on a rose fragrance. Green, fresh and uplifting. Lasts 3 hours with moderate projection on a hot day. Pretty good for a vegan fragrance, I would think.

I actually like this. On me it definitely smells like a softer version of Bombshell. Unfortunately the lasting power is pretty bad. I'll enjoy my sample but won't purchase- I'll just get Bombshell.

Sweet, woody, bergamot-citrus apple blossom. A touch of green and a tiny bit soapy, both in a complementary way. Ever so slightly granny smith apple like. Pleasant, unisex, adult.

This is wayyy better than V.S. Bombshell in my opinion, way better. It is more interesting; more complex. V.S. Bombshell leans more flat and generic, run-of-the-mill.

I don't get any harshness at all in the opening, just a really pleasant greenness. It's like a fresher, more green slightly spicier Chloe. I think it's lovely

i am not much of a rose fan - they tend to give me headaches- but this one is a fizzy fresh rose that i kinda dig. Nice but unremarkable tho.

Refreshingly clean and fresh. It projects softly and I get gentle wisp of the fragrance.

Super shampoo-y. I personally like the scent of the bottle cap because it’s nostalgic and unlocks a core memory for me, but I don’t think it’s something I would wear outside. It’s more of an indoor perfume for me after a nice, long shower and when I’m just lounging at home. But honestly...I feel like giving this one away or selling it. When I spray it on myself, I first smell the rose, but it’s mixed with fruity notes (I smell apples and pear?). It’s not sticky-sweet, but it does have a way of clogging my nose...not necessarily in a bad way...like it has more volume and oomph? As it starts settling in, there’s a note that shoots straight up my brain. I don’t know which note (or notes) is triggering this effect, but it’s quite strident and jolting. The bottle cap smells like I took a long shower and washed my hair with an uber feminine shampoo; on my skin, it smells like wilting flowers in a vase, or as @Gabi0401 mentioned: like “dead flowers on stale water”. I totally get that on my skin. On second thought, I don’t know if I should give or sell this away and punish someone with it.

There is something "Neon" about this fragrance. I can describe it as wearing neon colored clothes: it is fun when you are a 12 year old kid but you start hating it as you grow up. Definetely not for my liking but I understand that people who are young at heart might enjoy it. I get citrusy and crisp rose nuances. I cannot sense the pepper and jasmine notes. Drydown doesn't feel "rooted" if you know what I mean, too much of a free-spirit thing that the spirit is actually lost and makes no sense to me. Its sillage is weak and it lasted about 3-4 hours on my skin. This fragrance also made me realize that there is a genre of rose fragrances I don't like. MFK A La Rose is another instance of it. Such genre resembles the rose smell in a realistic way but that shouldn't be used in perfumery IMO.

I first sampled this in Mecca. I sprayed it on myself, not a piece of cardboard and really liked it. I got bergamot and rose and thought it would be perfect for our hot, humid Summer, so I bought the travel spray to start off with and now I’m glad I’m did, because I suspect the rose notes came from the residue of Ombré Rose on my clothes, not the Neon Rose. I don’t get rose from Neon Rose, I get a sweet, fruity smell. Really sweet. It reminds me of air freshener or fabric softener. The bergamot’s there at the start and it doesn’t last long, but that’s ok because bergamot rarely does and I expected that. It’s the missing rose I can’t accept. I won’t be buying it again. Quite disappointed, really. It’s not cheap and it’s beautifully presented, but it’s all sizzle and no sausage.

It is neon! It’s bright and fun! There is a fun freshness that the apple blossom opening brings, and a nice soapy greenness from some of the other notes as well. The rose is there but not overpowering, and plays nicely with the rest of the scent profile. There’s something familiar about this scent, like I remember it somewhere. Unfortunately, it smells.....cheap. Like a quality shampoo. There is also a note int there that reminds me of Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia. Good opening, mediocre base.
