Wonderland Peony

A bright fruity floral, that is fresh, uncomplicated, and unapologetically feminine. The peony is lively and refreshing. The guava comes across as candy like. And the cotton candy is elevated and airy. A youthful but not childish scent that is perfect for a spring day. It does remind me of Mac’s Candy Yum Yum. Both scents have the same guava note. But Candy Yum Yum is very shampoo-like, while Wonderland is undeniably a fruity floral. Performance is moderate. It lasts about 4 hours on skin, but clings to clothes for much longer. Projection is between moderate and a skin scent. Moderate scent trail for the first hour but that does fade. The atomizer is okay, not the best but far from the worst. The bottle is gorgeous, the colors perfectly represent Wonderland, delicate dusty pink, bright and energetic fuchsia, and warm a rich rose. Pairs beautifully with other scents. To emphasize the guava try it with Cheirosa 48. To bring out the fluffy cotton candy pair it with Skyler’s Boardwalk Delight. To make it part of a floral bouquet pair it with a rose forward fragrance like Being Frenshe's Desert Rose. Ariana Grande’s Mod Vanilla is also worth trying, it adds a lovely plumy base and musky vanilla to Wonderland Vanilla. I rated Wonderland Peony a 9/10 because it is an addictive, sweet, feminine scent at an affordable price point and in a lovey bottle. But I do wish the performance was a little stronger.

I don't know why it took me so long to review this gem! I received it as part of a Christmas gift two years ago, in early December, so I've had the chance to wear it through different seasons and in all kinds of situations. I can confidently say it has a personality of its own. From the very first spray, it reminded me of something from my childhood. I still can't quite figure out what it is, maybe the scent of my first perfume as a child. But don't take that to mean Wonderland Peony smells cheap or childish! In winter, it feels like a fizzy, sparkling floral wine with hints of raspberry. It truly comes alive in cooler temperatures and makes you want to shine when you wear it. Perfect balance of sweet and tart! In the warmer seasons, it blooms into something more playful and charming. It doesn't project very far, but that's more than enough to earn compliments from people who are close to you. I'll definitely repurchase this one, and I really hope I get the chance to visit the brand's store in London someday. I still regret missing that opportunity last year 😔

This should have been called Wonderland Fruit! The peony is quite subdued here, the raspberry is the star of the show. I know the notes say raspberry blossom, but I'm not sure what those blossoms really smell like and only get raspberry here. The second most dominant note is guava and I love that, it's so fresh, exotic and even slightly spicy. The base is a yummy cotton candy that doesn't become too sticky. There's a fizzy, soda-like quality to this, it's sweet but not heavy and becomes a little more floral in the drydown. Such a whimsical, girly scent. If you dislike sweet fruity florals, this will not convince you otherwise, but if you like them, you might appreciate the unique details in this. Wonderland Peony is ideal for springtime, garden parties, funfairs or drinking cocktails on patios. Just fun and carefree and very pink. It's also the better version of Mac Candy Yum Yum, which was a little too citrusy for me to love - same guava and cotton candy, but warmer and sweeter.

Wonderland Peony = Peony-raspberry-lemon deliciousness! This is one of those perfumes I forgot how much I LOVE until I spray it. As a strongly-advertised *peony* scent, I expect (happily) pretty, soft, romantic peony. What I actually get is zesty, salivatingly-tangy, heady-floral JOY! That Sicilian lemon just blew me away! It was just a happy-maker. Raspberry was a perfect mix of sweet and tart. The guava gives it that ever-so slight tropical edge. And violet - along with peony - will always be a favourite floral of mine. :) The vanilla and woody notes definitely help to prevent that cotton candy (which you can most certainly smell) from being sickly sweet. The packaging is a love/hate thing with me. Very pretty, and a unique visual brand, but also... woefully drug store-appropriate. That pains me. This is a Floral Street tie Top Favourite along with 'Ylang Ylang Espresso' (Oh. My. God.) *** Kitty Rating: 9/10.

What a great way to handle that very floral peony note. A note that I can easily find too much to wear. It has been lift and warmed with the raspberry and resins. It's afternoon tea in an early summer flower garden in June. Raspberry jam, clotted cream, scones on the lacy table cloth and a big clump of peonies in bloom behind where you are seated. What a delicious olfactory experience. It smells so good you almost wish you could eat it! Along the timeline the peony eases off a bit and now it's more about the raspberries, resin and wood notes. I have given the impression that this is very sweet but that would be false. It's a warm resinous fruity/floral that's easy going and friendly. I'd be very happy to wear this with a lovely tea dress. Fab for a summer wedding or similar. Moderate longevity and retracts back to a skin scent on me quite quickly.

Wonderland Peony is such a juicy, delicious fragrance! It's a very high-vibe, light, fruity floral that is playful yet sophisticated and a super easy reach especially in warm weather. I love peony notes and really like the way it's blended with the guava, berry and lemon in a fresh way that is not overpowering. I discovered this gem in a Floral Street discovery set and knew this was the ONE. I was looking for more Jerome Epinette perfumes since he was the mastermind behind so many of the classic NEST fragrances that have devastatingly been discontinued. I found that he had created Floral Street as an accessible, clean and fun brand. I'm hoping it will be okay for me since I sometimes have allergies to fragrances. I got the travel size and if all goes well I could see myself getting a full size of this one. Love!

I tried the 10ml travel size of Wonderland Peony and initially I wasn’t blown away by it, I thought it was a little subtle, I had another sample of another from the range and thought that had more impact. However I gradually began to use WP more and more. I liked the berries I smelt on my clothes and in the dry down, it had cosy fluffiness, and it was good for everyday wear. I’d describe it as pink fresh fluffy guava with berries. I think it was a slow burner for me because it didn’t have the punchy notes of designer fragrances. I think it’s a fragrance you have to live with for a while to appreciate its nuances. I’m considering a full bottle because it would definitely be something I could wear at work, or during the day. Probably more Spring or Summer, but its fluffiness could work in cold weather too.

Such a lovely scent. It smells sweet, fresh, playful - and very unique. Someone mentioned in the comments below it has a generic smell. This couldn't be further from the truth for me (although I appreciate this may not be the case for everyone). I first smelled it in the Covent Garden boutique and bought it right there and then as I'd never smelled anything like it and just couldn't get enough of it. Very addictive. I even bought the diffuser and room fragrance because I loved the smell so much. Unfortunately, all the products lack in lasting power, and the perfume is no exception. This makes it very overpriced for what you get and although I love the scent, I am not sure I will repurchase when I run out. May be more suited as a present for a teenager.

Trying this sample on a warm day and I’m so glad I’ve been hoarding this baby. I’m a fruit and gourmand lover, and the guava and cotton candy notes drew me to this fragrance. I like that it’s light enough and tropical for summer, because most other candy scents I’ve tried would be too heavy for this time of year. This gives me my fix of sweetness while still being tropical enough to pull off in a sundress. This reminds me of these guava candies I used to get for free at the Chinese buffet — I am OBSESSED with them, and guava anything, really. This might be worth splurging for the full bottle when money isn’t so tight.

This is a bright, cheerful fruity floral! Easily my favorite of the samples in the discovery set. I see (or, rather, smell) the similarities with Wild Poppy, but I definitely like this one more. I suppose it's the woody notes and maybe vanilla that keep this from venturing into "cheap body spray" territory. I definitely smell the guava, cotton candy, lemon, vanilla, and florals though if I hadn't known there was peony, rose, and violet in here, I probably wouldn't be able to identify exactly which flowers I'm smelling. This would make a great everyday summer fragrance, or really any time a pick-me-up is needed.

Starts with a sticky blast of guava and cotton candy that is both unexpectedly interesting and slightly nauseating if I oversniff, mellows out to a slightly floral/woody very sweet warm comforting haze I can't stop sniffing. Definitely not one to spray recklessly, just once in my cleavage is enough for me, more than that would likely be overwhelming though I am more sensitive to syrupy notes than the average fragrance wearer seems to be. While I do kinda get an impression of peony from sniffing this vibe-wise it does not actually smell much like peony, 'wonderland' definitely rings truer for this fragrance.

A gentle, semi-sweet fruity floral with a hint of cedar underpinning it all, this is a very easy-to-wear fragrance for me. There’s nothing overpowering that would make this unsuitable for hot weather, but there’s a subtle warmth in the base that makes it feel appropriate for cooler weather, too. If you prefer your floral scents lighter, without indolic white florals, you will probably get on with this. I will be tempted to get a full bottle when I've finished my sample size.

I have to say... it smells freaking amazing!!! It smells like a tropical fruit punch with some raspberry lemonade. It smells very similiar to Miss Dior absolutely blooming... think its cos of the peony bomb and just more zesty. I need to buy myself a full bottle. I sprayed it in the middle of winter and its still really nice. Cant wait to wear it in spring/summer. Update: Sorry, it didnt last 2hrs on my skin after i sprayed it. Lovely smell though

This is a fruity floral sweet fragrance that is great for daytime wear. I personally would wear this in any season, but I think it’s best for daytime in Jan through September. I think I tend to go for more spicy fragrances in the fall but I love fruity florals in the dead of winter (North USA). Also it’s great if you aren’t supposed to wear heavy perfumes to work, because this is sweet and inoffensive.

I really like this! It opens with a juicy burst of tropical fruit, minus the coconut that can make tropical mixes feel heavy. There's a bit of floral in the background to fill things out, but in the dry down, you get the sweetness of the vanilla, lending a bit of creaminess, but not too much. I got the travel spray, but if I end up using it enough that I run out, I plan to upgrade to a full bottle.

Sugary sweet but has almost a watery quality due to the peony and guava. The guava is very noticeable and smells amazing! The only downside is that this fragrance is extremely weak, I really wish it was stronger and projected more! Edit: I’ve finally put my finger on it- this has a similar vibe to Ariana Grande Cloud! I wouldn’t say they smell similar but they definitely share the same qualities.

This is such a pretty sweet scent. Its not candy sweet or sickly sweet. It's very pretty floral sweet. I love it. I just can't stop smelling myself when I wear this. It's very fresh, fruity, sweet, yummy, uplifting and comforting. I can definitely see me reaching for this almost every day. I love it. This is the 2nd Floral Street perfume I've tried and they are definitely 2 for 2 lol

I LOVE this. One of my favorite perfumes I’ve tried. It’s a syrupy sweet floral, but not so sweet that it makes me feel sick. I can definitely smell a bit of cotton candy. If you enjoy Body Fantasies Cotton Candy (similar vibe, but minus florals), V&R Flowerbomb Bloom, and Nest Wild Poppy, you’ll probably love this. It’s very similar to the last two. Average lasting power and sillage

I enjoy the sweet tart guava, berries and lemon top notes that are like a wake up call to start the day. I don't smell cotton candy. But I really love the peony and violet with the resins and woods that stand out for me in the majority of the wear time. I don't think think Wonderland Peony smells juvenile. I think it is a great fragrance for daily wear in warm weather.

This fragrance is very sweet. Burberry her is sweet upon first spray but this fragrance's sweetness lasts for about 5 hours.it isn't strong on the peony scent more on the fruit notes. I'd say of you're looking for a peony scent this isn't the one. However, this fragrance will sit well with you if you want a jammy fruity fragrance that makes you smell like fresh fruit.

This is a bright, sparkling, tart, uncomplicated fruity floral. Ideal for a sunny day. Not too much, not too little. Perfect as a spray-and-go mood lifter. It doesn’t last an eternity and the sillage won’t blow your socks off, but that’s fine for what it is. It’s moderately priced and nice to wear. I’ve got a travel spray and would consider a full bottle.

This is just lovely! Not what I thought it would be. I thought it would be a simple peony but it is way more complex then that. It has a sexy warmth to it at the same time it is floral, it is very sweet but not too sugary sweet. Good for everyday wear and also evening. I got this as a gift and I am super happy with it! Versitile and young scent

This is a happy scent. Floral, fruity, and playful. Definitely get a ton of peony (of course) and the cotton candy is not overly sugary if you can believe! It's what I imagine a lot of ari fragrances want to be. Plus the bottles are so beautiful. It isn't the best for lasting but if I reapply the fragrance it will get me through the work day.

I didn't realize how polarizing this fragrance was until I read the reviews lol. This is my favorite fragrance from Floral Street. It's flowers, fruits, and candy floss. It's pretty and pink. Spring and early summer. You smell pretty, sweet, juicy, and floral. Also, the longevity is actually decent in my opinion, especially on clothes.

This is a favorite for me :) While many perfumes include these notes, it's rare to find one that is cleaner and more pure like this. That's usually what I'm on this website looking for. The only thing is that I wish the vetiver/woodsy aspect was more low key or just taken out. The fruity, flowery blend is totally beautiful :)

My current favorite of the Floral Street fragrances. It’s candy shop in the way I always wish other fragrances would be when they market themselves as sweet. Non-cloying, fresh, and crystalline sweet. It’s more creamy than spicy- and has a strange, but nice, base note that is very grounding. Perhaps it’s the resin & cedar.

I don’t know about anybody else, but this smells like red Kool-Aid (or maybe Hawaiian Punch) on my skin. Red berries mixed with a lot of sugar. One of my absolute favorite scents for hot weather. I personally don’t get any performance issues from it. If you want to smell juicy and edible, this is a good pick.

I love this perfume! It’s youthful, playful, fresh, and fun!! I love peony notes and this one is just beautifully done. It’s sweet and bright and wearing it makes me happy! The longevity is pretty good, silliage is good for like 2 or 3 hours then it sits closer to the skin on me

Wonderland Peony is extremely easy to love. The guava in the top, peony in the middle and vetiver in the base are all realistic enough to keep the fragrance fresh. Despite it's freshness it still packs a punch and lasts about 7 hours with great projection!

Another stunner from perfumer Jérôme Epinette. This has become my staple scent for summer. I truly love it! Feminine, clean, simple yet complex. 10/10. Am almost out of my travel spray and will be purchasing a full bottle and another travel size as well!

Beautiful perfume. Sweet without being sickly sweet. Love the cotton Candy, Guava , red berries in this. A very uplifting happy Pretty scent. I also have the Wonderful Peony fragrance reeds. Great for spring, Summer. My favourite Floral Street scent .🌸

If you're into candy like sweet scents this is definitely for you. It's pure guava candy deliciousness. My mom who hates sweet-smelling perfumes loved how it smelled on me. I think this is for sure a scent many people will enjoy.

This perfume surprised me so much. The guava and lemon combo in the opening makes this perfume very special. It was fruity and tropical and fresh. I really enjoy this fragrance and have the 10 ml travel spray on my wish list!

How is everyone not raving about this perfume it smells like the concept of the colour pink but it has this tang to it that removes it from the realm of dull powdery pink scents. My mouth waters when I smell it.

Wonderful peony with fruity notes. It's light, cheerful and it brings smile to your face. I could swear there's an apple scent in it. Very fresh and a bit sweet. I would say this is safe blind buy.

Tropical lemonade peonies. After a couple hours the peonies have faded and you’re left with a sweet, green scent. I think it’s very pretty but I wish it lasted longer.

It is a delicious tropical fruit smoothie! Not very perfume-y. One might suspect you were wearing a scented lotion. But I love it.

This is my go-to perfume. She's sweet but not too sweet, floral and gentle and also makes me feel gorgeous. Love this one.

I bought it once while traveling, can stop thinking of it for few years now.

To me this smells really similar to Bath And Body Works champagne toast

This is lovely! Definitely something I can see being a crowd pleaser. By no means is this an insult, but this would fit right in with a lineup of Bath and Body Works bestsellers. This transported me back to age 15, trying out all the body mist testers in store with just enough money in my pocket to buy one, so it needed to be perfect... I wouldn't pick this scent nowadays. Perhaps back then, though. It's a whimsical, girly, very PINK fragrance, with just enough tartness and woodiness to keep it from being a complete sugar bomb. The peony in this is very lovely and understated; it's one of my favorite florals, and it blends gorgeously into this. It's one of those scents where everything blends so nicely that, while the separate notes are still discernible, it creates its own scent profile with a perfect balance of those notes. Girly, not juvenile. Accessible/crowd-pleasing, but not cheap-smelling. Think B&BW but leveled up. A sugary, girly, fruity floral with cotton candy wrapped around it. Delicious! Just not a fave for me. I save those heart eye ratings for the WOWs, and this doesn't WOW me. But it does make me smile.

So, it's called Wonderland Peony hey? Yet Peony is not the star for the opening here. I am so far a little perplexed by Floral street's naming of its fragrances. The opening blast is one of raspberries (although the note is listed as raspberry bloom, it smells of raspberries), fresh lemon and guava. The opening is stunning but gone very quickly. The drydown is more red berries, peony, violet and maybe the cotton candy with the woods amping things up a little. To me it smells a bit as if it contains pink pepper too. Just like London Poppy, on me this is gone in a little more than a few hours and I don't normally have any issues with longevity. I know Floral Street describe their scents as unisex but for me this is a more feminine-leaning fragrance from Floral Street's offerings. Honestly, I thought I'd love this a lot more that I do, although I do still enjoy it for the hour or so that it lasts.

I ordered the sample packs of the FS fragrances and this was the first one I tried. It is strong upon application but quickly settles close to the skin. It's a bright, juicy floral. I get no candyfloss or Vetiver and little of the wood notes. Notes from the FS website- Blackcurrant, Pink Pepper, Sicilian Lemon, Pink Berries, Pink Guava, Violet, Peony Accord, Raspberry Flower, Vanilla Bean, Pink Candy Floss, Cedarwood, Vetiver. This reminds me so much of Jack Wills Five - red currant jam, pink rose, peach, sandalwood, patchouli, rosewood, musk and raspberry. I find Five to be more rounded, intense and longer lasting. Sadly, it's discontinued. As I've got two 50ml bottles of Five, that I got for a steal on sale, I'll pass on a full bottle of this one. Though I am tempted to get the body products.

This is a light, girly, fruity floral. I like it but personally wouldn’t wear it in the office or when I want to come across as mature and sensible. In my opinion it’s a summery, youthful fragrance that I would wear on holiday. It would definitely be marketed towards young women, not that I love the gendering of perfumes. The cotton candy and the guava and blackcurrant aren’t distinct notes to my nose, instead it’s more of a fruit candy accord (clear red or purple hard boiled sweets). There’s a squeeze of lemon just to balance the sweetness, but almost indistinguishable like in a fruit tart. The floral peony is light and airy. It feels like a nice perfume which fits squarely in the “designer” category. It’s very pleasant but not unique or challenging for those who are into niche.

I am certainly not in the target group for this perfume as I really dislike the notes of rose and peony. But I got the sample set and I am happy to report that this is pretty cute (I get the nod at Delina, which is also a peony/rose scent that I think is nice) Usually I find rose and peony overwhelming and sickening, but the rose-vibe here is quite mellow and smooth. It is a very delicate and soft scent. Super feminine. It is sweet, but not overly so. The fruity aspect is not what you might imagine by the notes (it's barely there, lingering in the background). There is a slight sourness to Wonderland Peony, think unsweetened rasberries. I don't think I could handle a full wearing (I might try one day though), but WP was a pleasant surprise none the less.

A pretty, sugary, warm, floral, fruity perfume. Reminds me of the Pink body sprays girls would cover themselves with in high school back in 2010. I actually kinda like it. It’s pretty and feminine, but the woods and vetiver give it this sexiness, warmth, and depth that keeps it from feeling too young. Definitely more of a fall/winter scent in my eyes. I think it would be too warm and heavy for summer. Longevity and sillage are great. Lasts all day and it provides a lovely scent bubble around you. The scent is a little on the basic side, but it’s likeable. My bf said, “It’s fine” Edit: I was wearing this the other day and he hugged me and said, “wow you smell so good” so his opinion is to be taken with a grain of salt lol 6/10

I had high hopes for this because Peony is my favorite note and Jerome Epinette is my favorite perfume designer. Overall its a nice guava foward, light feminine fragrance. I'd put it in the "just like" category. The notes are nice but its not really sophisticated. Its giving body spray vibes. Also its a bit light for my taste. Its not ground breaking but its unique and very easy-reach/ inoffensive. I don't think I'd ever go for a full bottle though because in the end I can't get past how cheap this smells. If you sprayed me with this blindfolded and told me its a Peony body spray you just got for $7 at Walgreens I would 100 percent believe you. And it would be a nice body spray, but not $90 at sephora nice.

So... I love the actual fragrance of this perfume. It's a very juicy, bright, lively floral in a world where too many dry powdery. Jerome Epinette is a CONSISTENT winner in my book! The downside is that it has absolutely no staying power. I put it on when I left for work and could barely smell it once I got there. I had to reapply several times throughout the day (compared to usual where a fragrance will last me well into the evening). It's also pretty intimate-- the usual number of spritzes won't get you far. Get a travel spray. Solely based on performance, I don't think it's worth a full bottle, but it's absolutely a scent worth having! Besides, you'll need the portable bottle for touch ups.

Something about this smells VEGETAL to me in the beginning. Maybe it's the lemon? I'm not too fond of lemon in perfume it smells like bathroom cleaner to me. Smells like a sightly sharp, sweet guava peony. I do not agree with Blossomlove under my comment cuz I hate Flowerbomb and Coco Mademoiselle they are too dense and strong. This is way lighter IMO. All those comments aside, I surprisingly like this against my better judgment. It is slightly sharp and sweet floral mainstream generic than I would tend to go for but I do find myself coming back to this. I like just spraying it as a room freshener as well. Would be way better as a candle i'm guessing, it reminds me of bath and body works.
