Fleur d'Oranger

Fleur d'Oranger Merveilleuse is truly a little marvel of organic perfumery. Florame reinterprets trendy scents, imbuing them with richness and complexity. The initial impression is a very vibrant, warm, and enveloping orange blossom, generous without being syrupy. The first encounter is clear: it's a well-executed orange blossom. But something, I think, will hook perfume lovers, something unusual. Unusual, firstly because it's quite rare, in affordable perfumery (around 30 euros a bottle), to find the quality of a high-end fragrance, and yet that's precisely the case here. The scent is wonderfully accurate, with no synthetic facets; it truly is a vibrant and rich floral. Then, after the first few minutes of opening, what fascinates is the complexity of the composition. This isn't a naive orange blossom that apologizes for its existence; it's quite fiery, thanks to the bitter orange, cistus, and probably lily of the valley (I can't really detect this note). It's reminiscent of the thermal refractions of Roger & Gallet's "Néroli," but much longer-lasting. Indeed, a few sprays are enough to accompany you all day, enhancing the wearer's every move with beautiful sparkles. I have the impression that this unusual longevity is due to the cistus incanus (in addition to giving the fragrance such a singular profile). At the end of the day, the fragrance changes slightly, becoming more amber-oriented and mysterious, which is very clever for a scent of this nature. The composition is largely made up of essential oils, like the other perfumes from the house, which implies certain precautions for the skin, a small price to pay, given how well the fragrance lingers on clothing.
