Bergamotto Positano

One thing people need to know, is that citrus based formulas such as this, bergamote 22, L'hummanist, etc. are not going to project like monsters and last 12+ hours, so if you're waiting on one, you're going to be waiting forever. The bergamote here is not piercingly sharp. It's consistent, not dull but sharp. It's very natural smelling as well. I have santal from this house as well, another great fragrance. I do enjoy the offerings from this house and I think for the price, I have to go ahead and pick this one up too. 9/10 Check it out!!

It's a lovely fresh aquatic smell.. If I was to make a comparison, to me it's a cross between CK Be and CK One.. kind of like an amalgamation of the two. I like the smell a lot. As previously mentioned though, it is a fresh aquatic/citrus scent.. so performance is poor, even though it is a parfum. Would be really interested to know what it is about this genre of fragrance that ruins longevity and projection.

Super-lovely smell, and I'm not a fan of citruses (I usually find them too boring)! Longevity is, of course, a problem for this type of smell...

Nice summer aquatic scent that last all day without offending anyone. I would say this is bottle worthy.

I am basing my opinion off a 5ml sample I recently tried. I would describe this as a nice fragrance. It's very light, somewhat sweet citrus and floral. Within an hour it becomes a skin scent that I can still detect a few hours later but i certainly wouldn't call it strong. If you looking for a stronger citrus then check out some of the offerings from Xerjoff. I really appreciate the Floris brand and its rich history in British perfumery. This one feels like they wanted to do a unisex citrus to check that box in their product line but it's not super special. As I said, it's a "nice" fragrance. No one will hate it, but I don't LOVE it enough to buy a bottle.

cold, likeable aquatic. its cool freshness would make this great for hot days. even if it doesn't stick out to you, you would be hard-pressed to find someone who hates this

Reminded me of an orange creamcicle on paper, too sweet for me. I would say it leans feminine.

Again, another floral that's unidimensional, unstructured without layering. Top and middle notes are pure "flower pedal" (like an iris or lilly). Not metallic at all. More unisex.

This perfume went on, and stayed for hours, like the honeydew melon scented candle from the Yankee Candle Co., a very waxy, bathroom cleaning solution smell. It was quite nauseating, and could almost not be washed off. It most certainly did not smell of bergamot or orange flower, both of which I am well acquainted with in their natural and extracted forms. As to the other ingredients, well, good luck noticing those. It would be one thing if it didn't smell quite like what it's supposed to, but still smelled great, but to me, at least, no. And on top of that, it was $235.00!

I think this is the perfume that has been based on Meghan and Harry's royal wedding day. This perfumerie will be making a bespoke perfume for the couple, in May 2018.

This is a citrus based fragrance that actually looks like it may have some potential.. I love Floris Santal, so I definitely would love to try this..

99% of the italian bergamot comes from Calabria, not Campania. Not traces of any bergamot culture in or around Positano. Funny.

Definitely a fragrance for women, very sweet and with vanilla being the dominant note. The bergamot is very weak. Not for men.
