Eclat Noir

I think it's quite unfortunate that this fragrance is so unknown. I've found it a few weeks ago on Notino and because the bottle and the brand name seemed quite interesting I looked it up. And fortunately my favourite YT perfume content creator Arahi had a video about it, I decided, I had to try it. Thank you so much, Queen! This is supposed to be close to a perfume I've never smelled - Angélique Noir by Guerlain. Guerlain is my favourite perfume house and I can't afford their luxury collection but if those 2 are really similar, then even the original is worth it. This perfume is just a cathegory itself. I have never smelled anything alike and it's always precious to feel like that about a new fragrance. So to the smell. It's definitely green centric, the angelica note is the main character for sure. The green note is also very watery, yet the pear and vanilla make it unbelievably creamy and also slightly sweet. It's fresh, clean, creamy and dense which makes it suitable for every season. The ingredients are so well blended that I can't very well seperate the other notes. But the overall fragrance to me smells exactly as described. It's quite an oxymoron to have a green note and a vanilla note, which is what makes it a bit unsave to blindbuy. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful fragrance and I think also crowd-pleasing. Just a very unique one. The longevity is amazing, sillage very good as well. A lovely gem! 8.9/10

I never thought I'd find anything close to Guerlain Angelique Noire and it has been so sad to slowly watch my store sample fall to almost empty. I have this Eclat Noir side by side with what's left of my OG and they are amazingly similar. Beruzabeth's review is spot on, and this bottle is definitely going to tide me over until I'm ready to make the Guerlain investment. Angelique is a little more green and bright while Eclat is a little darker and herbal, but the vanilla woodsy dry down and longevity is near identical and I'm so happy to have found this.

The similarities between this and Angelique Noire are striking. They both open with a strong green and creamy angelica scent. In the dry down however this is more creamy and less nuanced. In this the dry down is a sweet bright green angelica with vanilla, while the OG has a darker green with a strong presence of the cedar. I also get a lot more of the pink pepper in the OG. Nonetheless I find them both beautiful and the differences really are minor. This one leans more feminine and lasts longer on my skin. A successful informed blind buy.

If you like Angelique Noir by Guerlain don’t walk, RUN. This is not only and excellent alternative but the quality and lasting power are impeccable. If you love green vanillas this is a must have. From now on, FOMO will be my go-to for inspired fragrances. I plan to buy every single one they put out on the market.

Fantastic and cheap alternative to Guerlain Angelique Noire! A great blind buy!

This is a nice fragrance. It is both fresh-bitter-greenish and warm- vanilla-sweet. I cannot comment whether is similar with Guerlain's Angelique Noir since I have never tested this perfume, but I do have Belle d'amour/ Fragonard (supposed to be a dupe for AN) and they are about 85% the same. I prefer BDA, as it is smoother, better blended than Eclat Noir. As for performance, Eclat Noir has moderate sillage and good lasting power- about 8 to 10 hours . All in all , EA is a beautifull perfume and the value for money is absolutely incredible.

I almost never comment on the first day I buy a fragrance but this is so good!!!!! It’s a beautiful creation I cannot describe it, but it reminds me of something that’s creating huge nostalgia. It opens sweet musky and powdery. The tinniest green hint is for-shadowed by a beautiful vanilla, but the true star is how this transformation happens between top mid and bottom notes. As this drys down you get a beautiful green like vanilla, that is supported by a beautiful vanilla musk, juxtaposed against a metallic musk. This is carefully crafted, and you can tell this was inspired by Guerlain. It has their beautiful trademark opening, that seamlessly transforms to a beautiful green vanilla. This is just so good. It makes me want to try the real Guerlain perfume but for now this is just right! Projects off the skin, and last 12 plus hours and indefinitely on fabric. 10/10 for 40$ I don’t think it can be beat. Edit: I know the notes don’t say rose but there is definitely pink pepper which gives a rose vibe, and the nostalgia is because it actually reminds me of Lyric Man. This one is my favorite out of the 4 FoMo released.

It’s almost exactly like AN. The only difference I pick up is that this takes longer to get to the juicy sweet vanilla mid and dry down- especially on clothes/paper. (The green fresh Angelica lasts hours) On skin it take a 20-30 minutes. And it’s ever so slightly less sweet than AN. Overall an absolute banger of a dupe! This cost less than a 10 ml of AN. Let me just add that she is a beast! It’s still going strong on my skin at the 10th hour!

This is such an equally green, ambery vanilla. I absolutely adore this juice. Can't compare it to its og, but as a standalone this is absolutely beautiful. I'm not fond of the bottle though. It's not easy to hold in 1 hand and spray, but the juice is absolutely worth it. 7/10 for me.

Omg this was such a terrible blind buy. To me personally this smells horrible. Very nausea inducing. Absolutely hate it. Its prob the angelica. If this is what Angelique noire smells like, i guess its just not for me.

Smells like roach killer spray, is very angelica green (if you know the angelica) creamy green, not a safe blind buy and not for everybody for sure plus is super femenine
